The ending felt so bitter sweet. It feels so uncanny rereading the manga after it ended. Seeing our little baby phos to just a heightened being from a path of pain, trauma and just living as a human.
Been awhile Puff! I finished the whole series in a week few days ago so I'm craving for some gem content. Was pleasantly surprised Phos is changing even more past the anime. I've wanted more characters like this who physically changes in design. It's hard to pull off without pairing the occasion with some forms of time skip. One famous mecha anime did well with the idea too but I won't spoil which one. Hnk did well too utilizing the setting of gem people. I definitely missed the fact that the few pages where Phos finally moves on, it was panel by panel going through their design backwards so thanks for that! Phos, back to being the youngest like they were, it's truly a GOATED ending.
