    For non USA customers, this option isn't available. Hoping someone can do a tutorial about using General Journal Entries to do payroll, for the rest of the world.

    How do you pay your employee when you over deducted on payroll liabilities? Would you have a general idea where to begin?

    Thank you for this. But can you explain why you said you still have to go to the EFTPS website to make a payment? If I do this in Quickbooks, isn't it sending the money? Is EFTPS where I tell them that I made the payment and it's coming? Sorry a bit confused. Thank you.

      Yes just paying through QuickBooks does not automatically pay it online for you. You would have to go in and physically pay them

    how do you fix errors under liabilities? I have a bunch of overdue liabilities, but they were done before.

    I had already downloaded the EFTPS transaction from the bank feeds, and when I paid the liabilities (after the fact) using your method it created a double entry, What's the best way to fix this?

    • @QbuniversityOrg
      @QbuniversityOrg  3 года назад

      Just delete or void the bank feed transaction

    Is there a way to get the liability checks to show in my check register?

    • @QbuniversityOrg
      @QbuniversityOrg  2 года назад

      They will only show in there once you pay them in QB. If you want to show them before actually paying them you could pay and mark as “to be printed” and then mark them paid when you actually pay them

    Should an employer sponsored Simple IRA show up in the Payroll Liabilities list?

    • @QbuniversityOrg
      @QbuniversityOrg  4 года назад

      If you have to pay a match or withheld IRA money from employees wages, that has not been paid on the date you run the report, then yes

    When you payed the Federal tax in this example to EFTPS, why did the check say pay to the order of Great Statewide Bank? Shouldn't it say EFTPS?

    • @QbuniversityOrg
      @QbuniversityOrg  4 года назад +1

      Yes that’s correct. Back in the “old days” you used to have to take payroll deposits to the bank

      Did you also show them as paid in QB. You would have to do this as well as paying them online

    I purchased the QuickBooks payroll software. Do I still need to pay monthly subscription?

    • @QbuniversityOrg
      @QbuniversityOrg  4 года назад

      Raymond Weng monthly subscription for what? QuickBooks desktop does not have a monthly subscription, but QuickBooks online does.
