Hello Sophie. The year Princess Diana & the now King Charles III came to N.Z with The very young Prince William. I was working for a big department store in Auckland. We had a very beautiful rack of " afternoon tea" dresses. There was to be a garden party held for the royal couple on Saturday. Friday saw us busy with the landed gentry of Auckland buying our tea gowns for the event. The party was televised too. Monday morning came around & guess what? Every single dress was returned. Each wealthy woman told us that they hadn't worn the garments. We had to give them their money back. When we got back to our homes & watched the garden party, we saw all of our dresses on display. These were very wealthy women. We can laugh about it now, but at the time we were livid. Blasted cheek. Jane in New Zealand 🇬🇧🇳🇿
I can't get enough of *preluxs* ! Their luxury bag collection is to die for. I just bought a stunning Valentino rockstud, and I'm in love. The prices are unbeatable, and the quality is amazing.
Many years ago, I sold a rare LV bag to a buyer in Germany on a FB group and upon receiving the item, buyer opened a claim that item wasn’t as described (strap and receipt missing), so she asked for partial refund. I found it dubious as she claimed that there was no signs of tampering on the parcel. Paypal froze my fund while investigating the case. I was scared and furious, I found it highly unlikely that postman would steal straps and receipt and left the bag untouched. I had a feeling that the buyer was being dishonest and I stumbled upon a listing of VC with her initials and location using my pictures and showed it to Paypal who then decided the case in my favour.
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the *preluxs* leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
Love*preluxs* the way you show it! You really focus on showing off the bag. I don't think any other RUclipsr can show off bags in as much detail as you.
Years ago I worked retail and stopped in the store I worked at to exchange something I had purchased for my mom. In the US btw. We had a very generous return policy, if you didn't like it, return it no questions asked. It was close to the holidays and very busy, I was in a line behind a couple with two huge bags of summer season clothes. They were talking with another petson in line and saying how they only shopped at stores with good return policies and would return everything at the end of every season. And there was nothing we could do. Frustrating.
I was once at the post office in the queue waiting to pick up a package. A woman a few people in front of me had ordered something from a higher end brand. The box was EMPTY. I told her to take a picture, and she refused to take it because someone had taken the item out! I prefer it when brands ship their packaging in very boring, nondescript bags with a company that says something like "shipping warehouse" on it. Lacoste does that.
Unfortunately, sometimes there is some level of staff collusion. I know someone who is cabin crew and a colleague of theirs was found guilty of stealing. They were bringing in used YSL mascara etc and switching it for new items that were then sold to passengers during flights. From the customer complaints, the airline was able to work out who the offender was and they were sacked.
Before the pandemic a person was charged here in Australia for buying items from luxury houses and returning fakes. The garage was full of the real designer stuff which she was selling on! Shocking that the boutiques didn’t notice! I believe they are more cautious now about returns. Thank you for the video.
Sophie, idea for a video, I sold a pair of sunglasses on a website that deals in designer items, the item was sold for less than £200.00 and so was sent direct to the buyer. Next thing I knew was that the payment was on hold , due to the buyer saying that the item was not as described. They were claiming that the screws had come out of the arm of the sunglasses and one of the arms was not attached. This item was sold as perfect, it was bought new to me and worn possibly once, but in perfect condition, no scratches etc. it’s clear to me that the screws would not have come loose in transit, and this person has potentially damaged the item or claimed the item is damaged to get some sort of discount… I am furious as I now don’t have the item or the money despite in knowing that the item was in brand new condition … ❤
Always take pictures and video of items you sell, before shipping to the reseller or buyer... 🧘♀️ That way you can debunk any claim that is clearly fraudulent.
You need to tell buyers you are recording packing and mailing to prevent fraud. Don't show the buyers the videos but keep that for your record. But telling them about it prevents them from committing fraud.
That actually happened to me this week. The buyer's return was approved by the selling platform for "undisclosed damage," but then she asked to keep it instead at a discount. Currently waiting to see if she ships my item back.
I know exactly which plattform you are talking about and they do nothing to protect their sellers. But scam their buyers aswell 🙈 so better stay away from VC at all!
When I used to work at a high street fashion shop as a teenager, we used to have 70%+ returns on a Sunday, worn dresses clearly worn - tan/ glitter/ makeup and smelt worn. As girls on minimum wage no older than 18 9/10, we used to return as faulty and put them in the write-off box. Mostly because of the low wages at the time (under 18 was £4.15), we weren't trained or staffed appropriately with enough security to deal with the conflict. Once a few of us began to enforce the rules, were abused, and even had store furniture thrown at us for a £30 dress, we never bothered to implement it. Not paid enough for that stress and risk. I was once even sold a girl a dress, saw her in the bar that night and then she gave it to her sister to try her luck when she saw me on the cash desk haha
Not sure if the pre loved luxury retailers are already doing this, but they should only credit the refund after the returned item has gone through the authentication process to prove it's the same item originally sent.
Hey Sophie this happened to my sister but it was not a bag it was a pair of expensive Prada sneakers. She bought them at Saks. They shipped them to her…something was off so she went to return them and they told her they were replicas! SO someone bought the real thing from Saks…swamped out the real for the fake. Put the fake in the Prada shoe box and returned them to Saks. I’m sure the sales person at Saks probably just checked the size to match and went ahead and put them back in stock. And those were the pair they shipped to my sister. It is crazy out there. I pretty much stay away from the latest it bags and shoes now cause the replicas are so good and they are quick to manufacter any popular “it” items. We aren’t even safe at the legit department stores these days! So sad!
These scamming tactics is why I think that luxury brands are for the poor because: 1. they buy things they cannot really afford just to show off, 2. they blatantly buy or sell fakes and do not pretend it's a real deal, 3. they scam people who are not used to luxury brands and sell/buy fakes.
One of our fashion stores in Australia does this with more formal/evening wear, were the fabric labels are on the outside, super long and noticeable. They found people were buying them for one event, usually school Formal/Prom, wearing them that one time, then returning them for a refund. It seems to have worked so far… unless you’re good at sewing and have matching cotton!
You are 100% correct about the fake returns. There was a video a while ago about a Chanel boots purchase from a top name department store and they turned out to be fake. It was the black leather quilted boots that were out a few years ago and they sold out in about 10 seconds, no one could find them anywhere.
Thanks Sophie for the video and the informations. I had to close my eBay account after 19 years due to a scam similar to the ones you described. I lost an expensive item, I have been defrauded and I have also lost the money. EBay rules are always geared towards the buyer and I was the seller. I should have been using a proper consignment shop.
I'm sorry to hear how scammers are ruining the resale market for sellers and customers alike! Another RUclips influencer who sold a number of her bags said she'd only accept cash wired to her, no credit cards. Normally not smart for buyers to take such a risk, but she has been on YT long enough to be trusted as honest, and did sell all her bags. The dishonest people make it difficult for sellers to give buyers a better deal, because of the 30+% cut they must pay and consignment shops need the markup to be in business.
I used to work in luxury retail in university. Omg, during holiday season people would buy dresses and shoes only to bring them back within the next week. We did not put them back on the floor. We damaged the product out if it was too far gone or transferred it to outlet. One lady tried to return a handbag from over 10 years ago. Does any luxury store accept 10+ year old returns?
I think Imitation is a good way to try new things. I also have a Kelly -style mini bag, the price is only a small part of it. Personally, I would hesitate to buy imitations of small companies, but for big brands, *amzclothes* I don't mind, as long as they do not directly copy the brand/logo.
It's so crazy what's going on with the fakes these days. A while back I have decided for myself to only buy designer from the brand itself. This is the only way I can be certain. I can't deal with a chance, that the bag (I payed good money for!) might not be authenctic - however small the chance is.
Great topic Sophie, I do my best to film everything from the delivery person handing it to me, the unboxing/inspecting, packing the return back up and taking it back into the carrier. Sad world we live in that items are stolen, arrived damaged etc that we have to document every second of it. It really takes the joy out of it no matter what type of package your receiving
SOOO true about consignment shops just closing and taking all of your stuff. I had placed a ton of my handmade items in a new consignment shop, and not 3 months later she closed her shop and took everyones items without telling us. I finally had to threaten her with lawyers before I got my stuff back, most of which was made of paper and had been ruined by the way she just threw everything in a box. I was devastated.
I think if these retailers want to start selling secound hand luxury they need to train the staff to spot fakes or have a few trained staff and have them be in charge of returns . They need to have a policy of returning where the items they are selling are heavily photographed and keep it for records for returns. I always get things authenticated and if I can’t get that done from a store and I’m not capable of spotting fakes I wouldn’t purchase. I’ve seen secound hand seller markets selling fakes of a bag charm I collect so I tend to trust no one xx
Sophie, you've voiced all my selling concerns in this video! I keep meaning to go to Luxury Promise and take some pieces in to sell, too scared to sell any other way! 😱 Have a lovely week 💕 x
Something similar happened last year to my brothers GF , she works in an “expensive bag” shop in Manchester and I remember her saying they had a return that turned out to be fake and the reason they checked after the refund was because of how odd the lady was behaving however they had refunded her already & they thought they were both just being judgey or paranoid about this lady’s behaviour during the refund turns out they were right to think something was off ❤❤
Thank you Sophie, for this great video. Suddenly made me more aware & how we need to be more cautious in the future. I cant believe how dishonest society has become!.... My cousin purchased a mulberry handbag from a well known UK department store....next day delivery....when it arrived...she was so excited but on close inspection....the corners were scuffed & there was a chewing gum wrapper in the inside pocket.....she was horrified! To pay over £1000 for a handbag & it wasnt brand new....😳 thankfully she could prove it. And managed to get another replaced.....but it is so scary!
Excellent video, Sophie. You have opened my eyes to so many things. Thanks for sharing. I think you are wise to use a consignment company to sell your bags. The personal stress is NOT worth it.
Thank you so much Sophie for putting the spotlight on this issue because these kind of trading are flourished recently, we should be more careful and alert,as we are surrounded with sick unethical people 😢
Watched a podcast from 2 former Sephora employees who told stories about returns. People empty out the real product from products with opaque containers and fill them with water or some other similar weight product
Great video, thank you Sophie. A slightly separate issue/question I wonder if anyone knowa how Cettire can sell current stock at often quote a lot below the price in boutiques?
I do get a fake bag from MyT, unfortunately i discover it a bit late and tags etc already removed, so i cannot return it anymore. It do looks pretty real till i found it has a nfc chip which will direct you to a really random awkward website instead of the brand’s one 🤷🏻♀️
They simply remove the tag and place it on the fakes at your TJ/TK Maxx and Marshalls. The con artists aren't interested in keeping the price tag; they're more invested in getting an actual item without having to pay for the price
In canada it's rare luxury goods have tags attached. The price is usually printed on a card and tucked into a bag. It's very stupid and almost as if they want this confusion.
@@nordette That's actually the same situation for in the states at Nordstorm (and Nordstorm Rack)! I agree it is stupid. It has to do with the stores believing showing the price is audacious, but people came here to shop, not dig around and play hide and go see with the price tag 😅 I've always found that ridiculous
What about designer outlet places like Bicester village ? Do they have luxury authentification services ? This is scary and infuriating . Great topic 👍
Brands make lower-quality stock to sold only in outlets ; same models that from the boutique but with different leather or different details to prevent customers shopping in an outlet and trying to return at the boutiques as there stock
Great content🥰 I am a reseller and do not trust selling High-end Luxury bags. Fed Ex packages are lost or boxes have been opened (Allegdly) not worth losing $$$$$
FedEx is sus. I hear the drivers are allegedly contracted employees. Allegedly not permanent employees of FedEX. LV uses UPS. Better way to go. I’ve known my driver for years.
This has happened to me. Bought a pre loved YSL from a dept store here in US. Went to sell and get a COA. Was told then it was a fake. I had receipt and took back, however I believe that someone had done the switch and the store was oblivious. Adding a store tag that cannot be removed should be common practice.
Hi Sophie, I actually watched a video before talking about secondhand websites and the shady business they have done to sellers and buyers (i'm not going to write the actual company). If you are interested it should still be on youtube but it definitely made me less trusty of secondhand shops where I can't trust the authenticity of what I buy.
If its like it is here in retail, so many stores are so short staffed, as well as not experienced, I can see this happening easily. One of the TV shopping channels is now also selling used luxury on their website.
I bought second hand items online few times in the last few years. But I won't be doing that again as its always with some disappointment. Due to undeclared flaws, smell etc. I won't say is scam sometimes its just different expectations
I use consignment stores and accept the lower payout than dealing with any fraud. I don't sell designer items online. I only sell items that are less likely to create fradulent sales and let consignment stores handle my higher end items.
I’m sure everything is as you stated, but to me a lot of it doesn’t make sense. Charge Back can be disputed/not accepted and then undergoes investigation, shipments are (or should be) insured etc. One thing I did want to add though: You mentioned commission companies going bust and one losing the item. ACTUALLY that is QUITE common in many sectors and forms!! I personally had a new vehicle at the dealership for 1st service, they went bankrupt while it was there, and I nearly couldn’t get it back! I also had a storage company go bust while I was away, and everything was gone. And someone I know bought a car from a dealership, it arrived, they went there, looked, did the final payment and waited for it to be ready (registered, prepped & checked). During that time the dealership went bankrupt and they actually got neither the car, nor the money back! The car still belonged to the manufacturer (as dealership didn’t pay it) and the money was part of the bankruptcy, putting them near last payout position, due to other massive amounts owed! There are many more similar situations I personally encountered! Stay vigilant! Best wishes ❤
I had something similar happen but from the other end. I bought a leather coat online but I just didn't like how it fit and looked on me. So, I booked a return but when it got to italy, I was told that the box was empty. So, they wanted to investigate and were holding my money. Luckly, I remembered that I should have the whole dhl pickup on my ring camera and I sent them the video of me literally handing the whole parcel and closing it in front of the dhl driver (this is right after brexit when you needed like 3 forms signed and stuff). So, I had proof that I had the coat and everything in the box. Clearly someone looked at one of the forms while it was in transit, saw how much the coat was and just took it. It was such a stupid idea to have the value of the object on the forms we needed to include.
I would be LIVID if that DHL thing happened to me. That business uses DHL as their vendor. That should be handled as a dispute between them, NOT THE CUSTOMER. Wow… I’m pissed for the person this happened to.
Such an interesting video!! Thank you! This is something I am always so worried about and have only bought one vintage bag from a reputable consignment store for that reason (had it authenticated twice after purchase!).
I wish you would tell us the companies to avoid instead of dancing around their names. The only reason to avoid saying it is if they are a sponsor but why would you promote a company you don't trust?
Got scammed after buying Tiffany co ruby ring off EBay. Returned ring to seller, have all the documents they got it back. Never got my refund and they resold the ring on EBay. Went to court and got judgment against seller. 8 years later still never seen 1 penny of my money back. NEVER BUY anything off EBay
As an American I have no idea what store your talking about but I think the store should quickly find a solution! Customers should be confident they are purchasing the real deal!!
Sophie - I have been waiting for you to suggest Auction houses for buying and selling. I have a collection of designer bags that I am considering selling at Bonhams or Sotheby’s. Isn’t this the safest option? Please discuss this in your upcoming video on SELLING our bags. Thank you! 🙋♀️🥰‼️
Great finds I really enjoy watching your videos because you always thinking of the girlies that can’t afford designer and I am one of the girls and I love it I will be making a couple of purchases
I think that payment on hold rule needs to be updated and could only be held after the item is shipped and the seller receives the exact item. Otherwise anyone can claim anything and scammers are looking for these loopholes. Pathetic people, really, with all the time and effort they waste they could start legitimate business and prosper.
How do you get fake vintage bags with wear & tear? I don't get it. It doesn't make sense. It's not like you're buying something this season and return it next week.
They can easily fix this if they refuse returns for luxury items. They have final sale items for minor things. The staff aren't trained to identify fakes 😅
@@FloorSugar Here in the states, in usual circumstances, you have within thirty days to return a product *unused/unopened* , or if the product was defective. There are, however, situations such as the item clearly been worn or damaged by the costumer, which a store can refuse a return. It doesn't happen often, as that's considered hurtful to the store for some reason (they probably wish to avoid a scene and write it as a tax write off). There's also stores such as Chanel, Nordstrom, TJ Maxx, if you paid through your credit/debit card, will issue only store credit. Sophie is specifically referring to TK Maxx, which is TJ Maxx in the states, and they actually do have items that are final sale (usually heavily discounted items). I think, if possible, they can apply the final sale to their designer items, it may prevent fraud. Of course I'm no way in familiar with the laws around the world. It varies immensely here as is 😅
Hello lovely!! Ooh, you know something… I got it last year, maybe even the year before. So there’s a chance it might have sold out, but, there are some similar on there. Although I know they’re not the same. I’m sorry for being a pain!!xx
Nordstroms is one that worries me. they have no return policy and I don't think those accepting the returns know how to spot the fake bags, shoes, sunglasses, clothes etc. i used to work in returns and we had a policy where we would send them to the department however the people there I don't think they knew how to spot one. in the big nordstroms that have little boutiques of x brand I have no clue how they spot them. it would be nice if they had tags like fashionphile from the beginning. certain brands now have these tags/long ribbon on them to deter this one that comes to mind is house of CB. again working returns there I have had so many disgusting things returned, one that got me everytime was shoes and skims, like I don't want to touch that. the nerve of people
The real real sold me a pair of fake Gucci sandals. Description shows size 5 which accounts for 22 centimeter. Shoes arrived fake box, size 5 measuring 26.49 centimeter. Shoes were marked final sale, what do I do?
These companies need to have special returns procedures for designer bags given how much they are faked. This could damage THEIR brand. Or not take returns on designer bags.
Helloooo Sophie!! Thats such a scary thought to know that there could be non authentics in the boutique itself from these kinds of returns at store! ^^" couldnt imagine paying so much for a luxury piece and it ends up falling apart >< hope youre having a fab weekend sophie!! just enjoying the sun today and now relaxing for sunday :D xx
omg based on this video, I wouldnt buy anything online and I would only buy luxury new. You would be surprised how many people would indeed bother. Better safe than sorry.
Sophie, I need help. I bought from LV online but noticed they didn't give me a hard copy of my receipt. How can I get a hard copy receipt? They told me it's available online, but it doesn't seem genuine if I print it without their logo attached. Is there any way I can get my hard copy receipt? Thank you for your help ❤️
I would take your phone into the store and log into your account with an SA. I just ordered on line from LV. Once I went in store and they found my previous purchase from 2015 and fixed a bag after years and years! I don’t think I’ll order on line again though. I worry about the delivery driver.
I know the retailer you’re referring to. I’ve been seeing so many fakes in there for years, I don’t believe it’s return fraud. They just sell fakes and I can’t believe they get away with it.

In Singapore, they add their own tags to the bags, and if the tags are cut, we can no longer return them.
Same with most resale sites in the USA

Rebag selling and shipping empty boxes most be one of the scams too. Its wild...*-*
What really!! OMG I have heard so many terrible things about them. I would never purchase from them.
There is a book about this, recommended from Reese Witherspoons book club called The Counterfeit.
Read that book, it’s good
Not sure if the pre loved luxury retailers are already doing this, but they should only credit the refund after the returned item has gone through the authentication process to prove it's the same item originally sent.
Yes and also get their contact info and copy of photo ID so you can send police if it turns up fake after reviewing.

This problem is growing in all aspects of retail. Stores will have to put a tag of sorts clamped on that can’t be removed if you want to return.

I bought a Canada goose jacket and there was white stuff down the sleeve! I washed it twice and it came off but it was definitely used and returned 😮
My local Dillards is now selling preloved LV and Gucci. I am still shocked by it.
Yes!! I’ve seen this too. Have you seen the markups on them too?!? Absurd
It’s Rebag that sells through Dillards
@@kimb6962 oh GOSH I just had a Rebag’s nightmare lol.
@@neebieslittleluxuries Yes!
Our Dillards did this years ago but the stuff is in ruff condition and over priced.
Omg that’s nuts
Great video, thank you Sophie. A slightly separate issue/question I wonder if anyone knowa how Cettire can sell current stock at often quote a lot below the price in boutiques?
I do get a fake bag from MyT, unfortunately i discover it a bit late and tags etc already removed, so i cannot return it anymore. It do looks pretty real till i found it has a nfc chip which will direct you to a really random awkward website instead of the brand’s one 🤷🏻♀️
How can someone return the fake as original? The item needs to have the original tag attached. They scan the barcode in order to accept the item back
They simply remove the tag and place it on the fakes at your TJ/TK Maxx and Marshalls.
Omg Sophie are u selling some bags?! 👀
//excited
Great topic, it’s my birthday tomorrow so just opened a red wine and going to chill
I hope you have the nicest evening and birthday! I will dm you tomorrow on Patreon 🥰 Hugs xx💐🩷
@@SophieShohetOfficial Thanks Sophie
Blessed birthday.
Great facts. I don't know why this fraud always shocks me🤔😶!
One thing I did want to add though:
You mentioned commission companies going bust and one losing the item.
Great topic. Thank you Sophie! ❤
Is it Flannels? xxx
I do that too . I tell dhl that the courier can pick up my box outside my condo unit front door and I have a cctv pointed at the box
I've bought shoes sold as new and they were really scuffed and used by several returners.
Hi Sophie what do you think about Fashionphille?
I hear it’s a big no on Reddit. No Fashionphille for me.
The scammers will literally sew the real labels onto a fake dress and return the fake dress and it looks real because the label is legit. Horrible!!
Hi Sophie is there any luxury store in China called sufei luxury store
Very insightful and informative 👏💓
Bethenny Frankel and TJ Maxx and the fake Manolo Blahniks.
😢 sameee got scammed bought something on eBay but that person never send the package never ever eBay !
😢😢😢
As an American I have no idea what store your talking about but I think the store should quickly find a solution! Customers should be confident they are purchasing the real deal!!
It happens here with TJ Maxx
Years ago I worked for Laura Ashley. Sure enough, during the holiday season women would try to return dresses reeking to holy hell.
Hi Sophie, Happy Sunday! 🥰💕❤
And to you my friend!!xx🩷🩷🩷
How do you get fake vintage bags with wear & tear? I don't get it. It doesn't make sense. It's not like you're buying something this season and return it next week.
so it passes as real - or they repaint corners and pretend it's untouched
They can easily fix this if they refuse returns for luxury items. They have final sale items for minor things. The staff aren't trained to identify fakes 😅
Not sure what it's like in other countries but you can't *just* refuse a return in the UK.
It varies immensely here as is 😅
@christopherfeatherley Thank you for the info, that is good to know 🙂
What I do is that I get them to pick up the item and sign for it before they take it away.
I don’t see how there can be return fraud with LV ( chips scan ) & Chanel the same thing.
Was it raining or is it just me hearing rain? Very relaxing 😊
How do you expect us to be carefull if we don't know the names of the brands...
Hi Sophie, can you please direct link to the tweed jumper you’re wearing? Can’t find it anywhere on the UR website! 😢😢😢 You look amazing x
Hello lovely!! Ooh, you know something… I got it last year, maybe even the year before. So there’s a chance it might have sold out, but, there are some similar on there. Although I know they’re not the same. I’m sorry for being a pain!!xx
Nordstroms is one that worries me. they have no return policy and I don't think those accepting the returns know how to spot the fake bags, shoes, sunglasses, clothes etc. i used to work in returns and we had a policy where we would send them to the department however the people there I don't think they knew how to spot one. in the big nordstroms that have little boutiques of x brand I have no clue how they spot them. it would be nice if they had tags like fashionphile from the beginning. certain brands now have these tags/long ribbon on them to deter this one that comes to mind is house of CB. again working returns there I have had so many disgusting things returned, one that got me everytime was shoes and skims, like I don't want to touch that. the nerve of people
Doesnt the item has to have the tag still on for it to be accepted by the retailer?
Hi Sophie!!! 18 minutes late ooops, Sunday roast made me late !!! I really don't know how people have the total gall to do these things 😡! Hugs xx
The real real sold me a pair of fake Gucci sandals. Description shows size 5 which accounts for 22 centimeter. Shoes arrived fake box, size 5 measuring 26.49 centimeter. Shoes were marked final sale, what do I do?
Hi Sophie, could you do a video on miu miu?❤
*preluxs* Bolsa réplica 1:1 con imagen reflejada, resistente y resistente al desgaste. Me gusta mucho.
Listen, The Real Real sold me a fake Birkin and said that it was clearly marked final sale… what do you do?
tell them you'll report them to law enforcement for colluding with fakers
Whoa! Thanks for posting. I won’t buy from them.
STOP SPENDING THE MONEY YOU DON'T HAVE, TO BUY THINGS YOU DON'T NEED TO IMPRESS PEOPLE YOU DON'T KNOW ( + GO TO PLACES YOU DON'T BELONG) !!!!!!
These companies need to have special returns procedures for designer bags given how much they are faked. This could damage THEIR brand. Or not take returns on designer bags.
If you're selling your bags or ready to wears, you could list them on your website 👀
Im here too from Baltimore Maryland, USA 🇺🇸, SHOPIE 😂
Helloooo Sophie!! Thats such a scary thought to know that there could be non authentics in the boutique itself from these kinds of returns at store! ^^" couldnt imagine paying so much for a luxury piece and it ends up falling apart >< hope youre having a fab weekend sophie!! just enjoying the sun today and now relaxing for sunday :D xx
omg based on this video, I wouldnt buy anything online and I would only buy luxury new. You would be surprised how many people would indeed bother. Better safe than sorry.
Bethenny frankel got fake manolos from tkmaxx in the US, sadly it happens
Can anyone suggest anywhere in the UK you can get items authenticated if you are unsure?
Sophie, I need help. I bought from LV online but noticed they didn't give me a hard copy of my receipt. How can I get a hard copy receipt? They told me it's available online, but it doesn't seem genuine if I print it without their logo attached. Is there any way I can get my hard copy receipt? Thank you for your help ❤️
ask LV they are the only ones who can give u
I would take your phone into the store and log into your account with an SA. I just ordered on line from LV. Once I went in store and they found my previous purchase from 2015 and fixed a bag after years and years! I don’t think I’ll order on line again though. I worry about the delivery driver.
@@francescathegreat1 thank you x
Love your top
I know the retailer you’re referring to. I’ve been seeing so many fakes in there for years, I don’t believe it’s return fraud. They just sell fakes and I can’t believe they get away with it.
Which one is it?
I’m selling through the Real Real now, no problems.
Same here, I only use The Real Real after too many problems trying to sell on my own.
This is Thelma Purdie, i forgot to say, and yes Rebecca too.
Hello lovely Thelma! I’m looking for Jill and Rebecca in the comments now! Xx🥰🩷
Hi Thelma 👋👋👋
💕💕💕💕💫
Sophie can’t wait to see what you’re going to sell 😊 I may want to buy something , happy to provide my instagram
