Joined the club in one of it's darkest periods, took them from 9th to 2nd in the league. Won the Super Cup and La Liga in his first full season at the club. Left as soon as he knew he could not take the team any further.

I love Xavi Hernandez, man. He came during the darkest time of this club. We were a mid-table team, and he turned it around in 2 years. We won La Liga once and finished second once. He took us to the Quarter Finals of the Champions League for the first time in 4 years. He did this all while having a squad filled with inexperienced youngsters and filled with injuries. Thank you, Xavi, for everything.

i am seeing a lot of unnecessary hate for president laporta which is unjustified. point 1. messi was already leaving because of bartomeu's actions which couldn't be changed by anyone and bringing messi back was an equally tough challenge as messi didnt want many players to leave the club because of him. point 2. laporta trusted xavi and have him a lot of time and we saw the good and bad aspects of it and when xavi asked to leave, many of the board meembers pressurized him to urge xavi to stay even though there were issues, ultimately president laporta did the best thing possible by contracting flick which is good for us and our future. we are forgetting that some of our club's best moments came in president laporta's previous term (before the 2022 one) so we have to respect him!

Unfair sacking, brought the club from the 9th to the 2nd in his first season, then he won Supercup and Laliga, this season didnt go to his plans, he may not have been a great manager, but he tried everything for the club, Thank you, Xavi.
While I do think Flick is a better/more accomplished guy, I think the sacking is unfair more because Xavi himself was leaving, then laporta convinces him to stay and then himself sacks him because of some interview.

In your first full season you gave us the LaLiga Title with the minimal budget. This season injuries cost us, departure of Busi shambles us, you asked for a DM but Laporta gave you Romeu. Without a proper DM and our best players injured half of the season, we still managed to compete in Laliga, came second, had our greatest UCL run after the departure of Messi. You gave us so many La Masia gems 💎. We fought well till the end of the season. Critics and Media always made a conspiracy against you, but you defended the players to death. You made Dembele great who backstabbed you, Raphinha currently was on fire under you, you nurtured Gavi, Balde, you brought Cubarsi out of no where and now he is a beast, Kounde was fire this season. You help us bringing Lewa and Gundo. People see things but sadly we fans are failed to understand and appreciate your works. I was super excited for the reunion of Gavi and Xavi.
