- Hundreds of Muslim ethnic minority Rohingyas have been conscripted to fight from Myanmar's embattled military junta, the BBC has learnt.
Several recruits said that army officers had ordered young Rohingya men living in camps for the internally displaced to report for military training.
The same military killed thousands of Muslim Rohingyas and drove 700,000 out of the country nearly seven years ago.
Those who remain in Myanmar are denied citizenship and are subjected to a range of discriminatory restrictions.

When it comes on issues in politics in Myanmar of course western media will not show the whole picture only what fits in their narrative.
The Rohingya forcibly marched into their country and took up residence without permission. Then greeted the locals with the usual Islamic welcome of r*pe and violence. Clearly no interest in repaying their host country with duty and service.
So they try to kill them all and now they force them to fight, how messed up can this be!

Some useful facts about Rohingya:
1. During the British rule in India, particularly in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Rohingya were enlisted and armed to counter the Burmese forces.
2. The British administration exacerbated tensions by favoring Rohingya for administrative roles, fostering resentment among other ethnic groups in Burma.
3. Following Burma's independence from Britain in 1948, the newly formed government began to systematically strip the Rohingya of their citizenship rights.
4. Over time, the Burmese military exploited and armed certain factions of the Rohingya population to counter the Arakan Army (AA), a Rakhine insurgent group.
5. Despite generations living in Burma, Rohingya descendants continue to be denied citizenship rights.
6. Rohingya were allowed to participate in elections until 2010.
7. Rohingya communities became more connected to the Muslim communities throughout Myanmar as missionaries from various states begined arriving to preach and share religious teachings.
8. Tensions escalated when some Buddhists accused Rohingya of raping a Buddhist girl, leading to brutal attacks by Buddhist mobs on one of such a group of missionaries on thr way to a place called Maungdaw.
9. The Burmese government responded with a heavy crackdown on Rohingya populations.
10. Misinformation and fake news, particularly disseminated by Indian media outlets, further fueled the conflict.
11. Some Rohingya individuals resorted to armed resistance against the ongoing atrocities.
12. However, such actions have often resulted in severe consequences for the Rohingya population.

This shows that the army is facing a situation where there are no available troops.
I heard there are like more than 1000 rohingyas have been killed in battles these past days. They were not well equip like they have to fight with old rusty G3s and useless burmese HK33 clone which has pretty bad at accuracy and always jamming. And Myanmar Army didn't give them proper training , after two weeks, they were sent to frontline. I sympathize them but can't help anything about them. Because I am also a resident of Myanmar and former uni student, now revolutionary soldier, I heard those consription news on the cities and all over the places. Not just rohingyas but also thousands of myanmar citizens who can't pay the military certain amount of money(which is pretty high), are to be drafted. This is a real problem for us resistance fighters because we have to fight our fellow citizens.

I am a Rohingya Muslim. I live in a Rohingya camp in Bangladesh. We came to Bangladesh in 2017😢. How much more pain and torture will we endure?😢 There are few remaining Rohingya Muslims in the country. Buddhist team AA is torturing and killing Rohingya Muslims every day😢. I'm a Rohingya student from Bangladesh Rohingya refugee camp thaing Khali. Myanmar junta military didn't recognize us as Rohingya and didn't give any citizenship. They only force us ( our brothers) to fight against Arakan army (AA). AA is always trying to destroy our ethnicity in Rakhine state.b
What do you think? What is your opinion on integrating the Arakan State with Bangladesh and granting you citizenship in Bangladesh?
