Uzbekistan with no tourists? Cmon. If you leave the main travel route - then yes. But In the Silk Road towns there are many of them. It was quiet in winter probably, but Uzbekistan is a touristic destination
I appreciate your feedback. Considering that I‘m 19 and if a 19 year old dares to travel the destination would most likely be Thailand, I do belive that Uzbekistan has almost 0 tourists. At the No. 1 tourist destination in Uzbekistan (the famous mausoleum in Bukhara) there were 0 other foreigners and maybe 5 other people taking photos… Also considering that the Uzbek Industry is made up to basically 0% of Tourism, I would argue that my video title is justified. Love, Bem!
@@BemSelemm Uzbekistan's tourism exports in 2023 totaled over $2bn (more than 6 million tourists) and it's roughly 8% of Total Exports in 2023. That's not much but surely not 0 too
I appreciate the argument, and say YES, you are right. I also ask: do you have a better title idea, that would make people want to learn more about uzbekistan? The only reason I chose this title, is because Uzbekistan is this "undiscovered" place. If you have a better title idea, and I approve, I will change my title. Love, Bem
@@BemSelemm I didn't say a word about the title, that was my reponse to your claim that says "Uzbek Industry is made up to basically 0% of Tourism" which is not true. Thanks
We are in 33°c temperature in Turkistan and there are no tourists in this Silk road town. Off to Tashkent today. I guess we will find out how tourism is there first hand. RUclips.com/@swannying-around
Unreal scenery & ambiance! Also well edited video as always Bern! Also pretty sure that was like Orange juice instead of honey haha or deluded juice honey or something.
Haha thanks for the lovely comment! It means the world. The undefined substance had an oily texture similar to ghee and I did later learn that they are selling a similar product on the basars… I put a lot of effort into the editing this time and am also experimenting with more extreme/distinctive colorgrading. Glad you liked it :) Love Bem
Great idea for a Travel Channel. Maybe its because I am a baby boomer but your video jump around that much I can't watch and enjoy. Its like watching a music video. I hope not to offend. I am just starting a RUclips Travel Channel as well and I wanted to give you the kind of feedback that I would encourage on my videos. I wish you success, it's great to see a Traveller highlighting this part of the world.
Thanks a lot! I‘m working on letting scenes breath more and taking more time for each moment. The algorithm and RUclips is saying the opposite though. As a small channel it is crucial to keep viewers retention up. As my videos are made for a variety of people it‘s difficult to get many people to keep watching, which is why right now I‘ve been making a lot of short cuts and switching theme and music quite often. I do still however appreciate the feedback and promise that I‘m working on longer videos with more emotion at the center! Love, Bem
@BemSelemm I feel your pain trying to understand the algorithm. You are doing well. I am sure you are going to be a great success. I am trying a couple of different formulas, and the one I love making is the slowest to pick up so far, but my number one goal is to have fun.
