"Finally playing a game" have you not watched their two Smash Bros. videos, their Mario video and their Towerfall Ascension video? He's played in all those videos.
After years of listening to Greg & Colin via podcasts, reading their reviews, and watching their videos on IGN, I didn't realize until these Let's Plays that this is really what I've wanted all along... just some friends hanging out playing video games and discussing them. And Nick has the greatest gaming face ever, he just looks genuinely excited anytime he has a controller in his hand haha. Keep up the good work guys!
Great video Colin and Nick. Keep up the hilarious videos Kinda Funny Games. I, for one, am glad that you all did not end up fast forwarding the grind towards the middle of the video. It is nice to hear the dialogue between two friends enjoying a nice game.
For how slow this was, it really was the most entertaining one so far. Because thats exactly the way I would play it. Farming those energy bars, while my know it all friend was harassing me cause he could do it with his eyes closed.
PLEASE keep on making videos like these. I lovvvvvve them :) Also, back at IGN, Colin said they would play every Megaman from 1 through 6. They only played 1 through 3, and made three awesome videos, so I'd like to see a teaching tuesdays with mega man 4,5 and 6 or a playthrough from Colin. But also, keep on working on this Teaching tuesdays series, I love those videos :D
Been playing along with you guy. Just beat quick man, and wood man's stage in one go, and only because I watched this video first! Thanks guys! :D Now, In order to satiate the lack of megaman, I'll go back to playing the way more difficult, megaman 3!
I saw the 22 minute runtime for the video and thought Nick is going to near enough complete this isn't he... Nope, just very lucky with the extra lives. Brilliant episode again though! Enjoy the chilled couch vibe of the video.
the concept to this show is genius. everyone watching is either in the noobs point of view or colin's point of view both sides have alot to laugh at and relate to.
The powerups probably represent some kind of ammunition or energy supply for the enemies, so it isn't like Wily intentionally stocks the enemies with them, so much as megaan can make use of it.
"This is your playthrough, I don't really wanna tell you...." after he basically gave Nick play-by-play instructions on how to he should do every single thing.
Bought and finished Mega Man 2 on the weekend. First NES game I've ever finished or even really played for more than half an hour. Started Mega Man 3 though and my god is that game hard.
I like how Nick plays dumb, but he definitely understands games a lot more than he lets on, even if he did say 'what the shit is that!' when the Hopper appeared.
Can't tell if Nick is tired, drunk or irritated by some lighting Looks really droopy at the end and is endlessly blinking Nick shows the most promise for mega man
Well he did go through a tougher stage than Tim I would grant, but Tim did it without quite as much direction needed for it. And Greg just sucked lol, that's what he gets for being a Master System kid :)
This series is cool, I never played a megaman and I'm learning a lot. I've tried several times to get into it but never understood where to begin, why having to choose the boss at the beginning and which order is best
not sure if the whole, colin just tells the player what to do, is good watching...brings back frustrating memories of playing videogames with my younger brother
Has Colin ever watched the Mega Man cartoon series from the 90s? Wonder wgat his thoughts are on it. I recommend for future teaching Tuesdays: Metroid, Mario Bros., Sonic the Hedgehog or any games from Final Fantasy... I feel like Colin will pick Castlevania next.
I have to say I am surprised about how good Nick actually is playing video games. Mario Kart, Super smash and now mega man. He has not sucked in any. In Super smash he is really good
BATTLETOADS! I know it's incredible tough, you've talked about it on your podcast. I'd love to see a similar series for Battletoads and if you can beat it, then I'll finally see the end of the game!
Really strange choice to actually tell Nick what to do and thereby making a really boring farm/grind fest instead of just letting him die once and realize that he should use the power up or book it. Off the bat more fun to watch him frantically try and beat the bars, then after he's out of lives let Colin show him how it's done without Flash power.
Wow, Nick finally playing a game...and he's not half bad! Nice job!
All those hours logged shadowboxing have honed his senses, sharpened his reflexes.

Lmao best comment in 2015

Agree.
Well yeah the grind didn't feel like a grind since they had there excellent banter, but if not, definitely fast forward.
They usually have good dialogue. That is the main reason I watch. :)
'Friends'
I am truly loving this series.
This is one of my favorite series you guys do.
This was the best video of the whole channel, super on edge right until the end.
Colin is such an entertaining person, especially when his true passions are involved.
Love Colin sitting there going "yes...yes...yes" whenever Nick does something good. Colin the maniacal mega man genius! lol
What a great series this is. "It's fine." Hahahaha. Colin and Nick have great chemistry.
For how slow this was, it really was the most entertaining one so far. Because thats exactly the way I would play it. Farming those energy bars, while my know it all friend was harassing me cause he could do it with his eyes closed.
I really miss Colin

I love the way Nick is playing
Oh how I love this series.
Amazing!! Nick brought some game... Can't wait to see how Greg does next stage
When Colin yells at Nick for moving to get items he doesn't need....I died. This was funny. Thanks guys!
Love these megaman videos.
Favorite series.
"oh yeah you can do crash man" lmao I knew exactly what would happen
love that this one is a bit longer
I saw the 22 minute runtime for the video and thought Nick is going to near enough complete this isn't he... Nope, just very lucky with the extra lives. Brilliant episode again though! Enjoy the chilled couch vibe of the video.
Nick is the bomb
Nick is just kicking ass! Well done.
This was awesome I enjoyed this 20 minute let's play
I love how Colin is coaching these guys.
I wish that Colin would play 4, 5, and 6 and finish his lets play that he started at IGN.
+ On getting through the lasers without the power.
- Using the other E Tank
Watching colin play mega man is the most beautiful art form in the world.
I love the music in Wood man's stage.
The Quickman boss fight was he most nerve-racking thing I've seen on RUclips, congrats Nick
This was so good.
I don't think that enough can be said about how great the music in mega man is.
It would be really great to see Colin play through the whole game on his own!
You should do this collectively-playing idea with more retro games! Lovin' it! :)
the concept to this show is genius. everyone watching is either in the noobs point of view or colin's point of view both sides have alot to laugh at and relate to.
I thought Tim's play through was fun - but Nick's was awesome!
This was hilarious! You guys are great...
The powerups probably represent some kind of ammunition or energy supply for the enemies, so it isn't like Wily intentionally stocks the enemies with them, so much as megaan can make use of it.
I love that Nick didn't give up.
I'm playing this game along with you guys.
Thank you colin hopefully going to finally beat a mega man game :D
"This is your playthrough, I don't really wanna tell you...." after he basically gave Nick play-by-play instructions on how to he should do every single thing.
Best episode yet
I like the Air Man stage, it was my very first stage when i first played Megaman 2.
This was a really funny and cool let's play.
these videos have actually made me want to play megaman and ive been doing that. stuck on wiley stage 1 tho
I Iove these. It's really making me want to download this
I loved this video keep it up guys!
You guys need to bring the other Nick Scarpino to one of the shows. I'm sure it will be a blast!
new found respect for the scarpinonator!!!
It's epic and Awesome watching Nick play!! lol
More Nick Let's Play!
Nick Scarpino is in the top 5 most beautiful people in gaming journalism at the very least.
OMG. Watching Colin beat Woodman stage was like watching a man tightrope across the Niagara. O_O
Can't tell if Nick is tired, drunk or irritated by some lighting
Looks really droopy at the end and is endlessly blinking
Nick shows the most promise for mega man
Well he did go through a tougher stage than Tim I would grant, but Tim did it without quite as much direction needed for it. And Greg just sucked lol, that's what he gets for being a Master System kid :)
Best one yet!
Watching these has got me wanting to go play me some mega man.
Wow! Impressed with Nick's abilities to play video games, to be honest. :)
I thought this would be my least favorite part but it was actually the best lol.
there was a gamaeboy advance megaman i have played when i was a lil kid, i can't remember the name of it but it was awesome :')
Nice Blue Snowball in the background.
Damn! Colin is a Mega Man Master
Nick is a treasure.
Nick "Mother Effing" Scarpino, ladies and gentlemen! This right here is the subduction!
damn i'm impressed by nick. for a guy who isn't the biggest gamer out there he did well!
This series is cool, I never played a megaman and I'm learning a lot. I've tried several times to get into it but never understood where to begin, why having to choose the boss at the beginning and which order is best
This series convinced me to buy Mega Man 2 on the Virtual Console.
I remember using one of Colin's walkthrough from gamefaqs.
not sure if the whole, colin just tells the player what to do, is good watching...brings back frustrating memories of playing videogames with my younger brother
Probably the grind sessions could've been cut out after the first one
Still a great video! Colin just destroyed Woodman's stage
all those bottles in the back! Gin and Juice?
grinding it nick lol. nice work gentlemen
"Let's say Wood Man just for shits"
Great vid (again) keep it up
I have to say I am surprised about how good Nick actually is playing video games. Mario Kart, Super smash and now mega man. He has not sucked in any. In Super smash he is really good
lol, Nick is farming forever, and then he wastes an E-tank.
NICK YOU DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!
It's Fine!
Nick is awesome haha he makes me laugh so hard
BATTLETOADS! I know it's incredible tough, you've talked about it on your podcast. I'd love to see a similar series for Battletoads and if you can beat it, then I'll finally see the end of the game!
When I saw the video was 22 minutes long I thought that Nick was a Mega Man master and beat the rest of the robot masters by himself. Nope.
Hope you guys do a how to play Castlevania
haha look at all the alcohol behind them
Nick and Colin have a weird dynamism about them, strangely amazing
Nick works at Portillos now?
Nick nailed it for me he said "this makes so much more sense now" I sucked I megaman Colin makes it look a lot simpler
So out of the 4 of you Colin is the only one who played Mega Man 2 back in the day? WTF!?!?
This is hilarious.
Wolverine!
I'm actually playing this now. The Japanese version which is a bit harder lol I wish I had the U.S. Version. Playing on bit through ps1 Classic.
HAHAHAH it hurts watching this. It's great!
and they will never shave again....
The producer/seducer!!!!!! Good job Nick.
Wait...did Colin say that Nick works at Portillo's now? Leave IGN to work at Portillo's? 0_o
Nick is a god! Nick Godman.
I beat Quick Man without the time stopper.
