Just to be clear that Wiley's castle music with the outro is one of the greatest things ever. I have covered that song in every metal band I've ever done.
I wouldn't mind having at several more weeks of the Mega Man 2 play through, but it would be cool to have one long episode as the finale with everyone playing a different part of the castle. It would be long as hell, but that's why it's a finale!
Teaching Tuesdays has been one of Kinda Funny's most entertaining series so far. Will they just be playing classic games in the future or will we see more recent games?
They are both pretty different. Megaman X's gameplay and design are essentially a perfect evolution of Megaman Classic's. But because of that it misses a bit of the novelty that Megaman Classic series had, like how simple it is. Basically, they are both really good, but if you want to play one, start with Classic because it will make you appreciate the X series more.
It's personal preference. I prefer the classic Megaman games but the Megaman x series is AMAZING. I think hunter parah is right though. You should start with the classic megaman games regardless. I would say at least play Megaman 2 and 3 definitely. Those are must plays for a megaman fan.
I like the classic mega man games better than the X series. In X mega man is larger on the screen than he is on the original mega man series, which changes up the dynamic a little bit. To be honest I haven't played much of the X series because it never grabbed me. It seems more about shooting, where the original mega man required more precise platforming in addition to shooting.
Does anyone know what's next for Teaching Tuesdays? I would love for it to be Zelda II since I've never beaten that. I've been loving following along with Mega Man 2 on my 3DS though! I play the levels after watching the videos and following Colin's advice. Thanks, Kinda Funny guys, for the great content!
I think you should do the Wiley's castle stages a bit different because they are harder and longer. There's almost no chance of beating it on the first try. Maybe let each guy have 3 lives before Colin beats it?

I am really enjoying these Mega Man play throughs. I started playing Mega Man II again because of them.
I've always said Bubble Lead like the metal but seeing as it leads you along the ground that makes so much more sense.
