  • Today we'll be faking a star spiral effect that you get when taking a long exposure of the night sky, and stylizing it a bit. This tutorial will be using the EEVEE render engine to do this and speed up render times dramatically, I'll show you my trick to fake object motion blur (Hint: Screw modifier + Separate XYZ Node + ColourRamp Node).
Also, I'm almost done my complete rework of my website, wintermutedigital.com . If you want a preview of the latest build, check out wintermutedigital.netlify.com in the next 5 days, after which the domains will have transferred.
Music: Ambulo / In Orbit - I thought this was fitting :P

For generating stuff it is convenient to use animation nodes.

I'll have a post up on my website soon summarizing all this, probably by April 6th, by which time my old website will have been wiped from the internet. If you want to see my revamped website, check out wintermutedigital.netlify.com in the next three days to get a preview of what wintermutedigital.com is going to become!

Very interesting, did you try particle instance or something like that to speed up the process?

Totally agree, I should've looked at more references and also it's better not centered in the screen
