A masterpiece. This is one of the best MVs and songs of 2022.
The into part gives me chills. My gosh Changmin’s voice is so versatile and it’s on another whole level.
This song has an american southern blues sound to it with a twist of gospel music as indicated by the background singers. Max's voice is powerful and has that gospel sound. He is quite capable of belting out the melody and vocalizing the runs. This is a great example of how K Pop is made up of many genres. I really enjoyed this song.

Yes!! This is what I was thinking too! It’s very southern rock with that twist of blues and gospel- I kept thinking of the ‘O Brother Where Art Thou’ soundtrack and thinking this would fit on there well!

Because the budy af life of an idol doesnt work well with a baby and conservative korea believes that a baby belongs to mommy. Thats why women have a hard time finding and keeping jobs, are fired when pregnant and have a even harder time when returning to work.

wow, I am SPEECHLESS. this is an absolute masterpiece and Max has outdone himself. I was truly missing TVXQ because their songs are always so amazing and catchy, but Devil has something even more powerful about it than anything he has done before individually or with Yunho. the way he uses his vocals here is just OUT OF THIS WORLD, magical.

I got interested in K-POP few weeks ago, since then I'm making my collection of most beautiful, expressive, emotional, artistic songs with MVs. Some really grew on me and move me to the core every time i listen to them... and this one landed on the first place of those. Pure masterpiece.

Newer groups have trendy and cool songs but legendary artists like Max/Changmin are seasoned and have so much depth in their vocals. Truly happy he is still making music.

His growth as an artist is remarkable. I've been a fan since 2007 and to witness his growth is huge deal for me as a fan. I technically grew up listening to TVXQ's music and to see how their music matured and get better each time is making my Cassie heart so proud. The whole album is a masterpiece. So proud of you, Changmin.

I'm duo fan era and honestly he was always along with yunho giving his all, but I watched some old stage when they were five and I was like that's not the changmin I know😅 that's crazy, their Japan tour after their discharge are 🤌🤌🤌 he is a big performer, both of tvxq are big performers, they're seniors in the industry but they're still giving all their energy no wonder they get new gen fans attention after seeing their rising sun performance at SM concerts

OMG !! Yeah it's his solo song from their album " the truth of love" ! He's an amazing vocalist so so versatile ... Maniac is a totall different style from devil as the rest of the whple DEVIL ALBUM also his album chocolate was a masterpiece ! And to be honest their whole discography as TVXQ they are always so loyal to their artistic identity ... always so different from mainstream Kpop!

He did a fantastic job with this song, it's as powerful as the original and the visuals and vocals are just stunning. I loved the cinematography but I really hope SM doesn't end this concept here. It has so much potential with the imagery throughout and at the end of the video.

The presentation of Max Changmin's Devil is a powerhouse song, the choreography is excellent, the location, and production sets is outstanding, but to hear Max's voice is powerful,is like you into a motion picture movie trailer or soundtrack movie I couldn't get enough of Max Changmin's face, including the outfits for Max Changmin and his back dancers . ( Shout out to Max Changmin's stylists) I love this music video!!! I'm definitely going to buy that album! Thank you SM Entertainment, to have Max Changmin's comeback album! I love Max acapella!
I hope you checked out Human, his 2nd Japanese EP that was released last month. (It's on Avex) - the Human mv and song is very different but also great.
