I had couple Ram mounts before and like it because you can use your own case but was annoying sometimes because the “claw” would mess with my volume buttons or power buttons. Last year switched over to quad lock with their MagSafe case, dropped my phone couple times and had to get used to putting the phone on and off on the quad lock. At the end of the day the case is very well built and protects my phone and the mount holds phone very sturdy and clean looking, definitely recommended.

Thanks for the video Moto I just purchased a CFmoto 300ss and cannot wait to start practicing riding just scheduled my msf course I’ve actually been looking at safety gear first but I’m definitely gonna invest in a good phone mount I saw your video on the Ram mount which I really like since I always have a lifeproof or other full body case!
The wrap looked solid, I think on the headlamp cover thing, it could look alot better fully black with maybe some nardo triangles or lines on it for accent
For the phone staying on you have to go into the settings and then you go to screen and brightness and it should be in there under always on display on something. Hope it helped!

I love my Quadlock 🤷🏾♂️ Wireless charging while it’s mounted, and I don’t have to take my phone out of the mount to change the orientation like you had to
I like the idea of having a phone mount, but these iPhones are really sensitive to vibration even with vibration dampeners. I tried the Rokform with their dampener and it ruined the camera on my iPhone 8, the quad lock with their dampener ruined the camera on my iPhone 11, and the SP connect with their dampener killed the camera on my iPhone 12. A few of the classes I took in college dealt with vibration analysis, and without going too far into it, generally the higher the oscillation frequency, the more difficult it is to isolate the resulting vibrations. I think that’s why these iPhone camera issues are almost exclusively experienced by people with high revving sport bikes.
If I hadn't already bought the entire quadlock system for my bikes and car, I'd probably be open to buying one of these... but the price is a bit steep.

The only downside on these is that you need a mainstream phone and then a special case for any of these to work. Sticking something to my case or phone is not a viable option imo.

I’ve had the quad lock on my bike for 3 years and 2 crashes later and it still works great.
I’ve had my peak design mount for about 8 months and it’s been great I absolutely love it

the phone not locking is probably the always on display, you can turn it of in settings.

I was going to go with the peak design mount, but i still have the not 20 ultra and they dont make a case for it.

The fix is to get rid of the charcoal canister on the left side of the motor. I made a video on that a long time ago

The screen setting you"re looking for is Android.
To make the screen turn off on your iPhone while riding, go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Raise to Wake, and turn that feature off.
Raise to wake is nice to have. Just put it in battery saver mode from control center to toggle it.
