@@Moshe54 wrong. If he ever doubted Ada, he would have agreed with Anette. Instead he calls Annette as a bullshitter but only after Annette reveals the truth he starts the doubting. Had Annette not told him, he would have given Ada the sample thinking she is FBI. Just like he gives her the sample in RE4
Funny part is ada thought Leon was just a stupid cop, but in the letter of him being welcomed to the PD he actually graduated the police academy with the highest points, and with that he could of easily get to be a STARS member with Chris. Ada later on realized Leon wasn’t just a dumb beat cop, but a intelligent fast pace thinker.

What i like most about Ada's character is despite working with corrupted people for money, in the end she would always has something going on up her sleeve to betrayed those awful people.
People usually just see her as this liar and cunning personality, but if they really took the time to understand the RE's storyline, Ada is far than those assumption.
She is a survivor and an intelligent character, she knows what is good and bad, she knows how to make the right desicion, she knows how to handle herself in apocalypse world.
I never accepted any people who said hateful things and downplaying her characterisation just to satisfy their misguided needs. She has a heart, you can see that throughout RE 2-6 where she always prioritize Leon's safety to the point she almost uncover her job in front of Krauser for it, even a lot of Leon's mission throughout RE franchise wouldn't be successful if it wasn't for Ada's help and guidance.
I can feel that her past or background story would be a sad one (if Capcom wanted to revealed it). Because her cold and isolated personality definitely involved with her past before 1998.
My point is, Ada Wong is definitely a complicated character and i just love that quality about her, makes me curious about her real life😊

@@shepherdlavellen3301 everyone who was in the city died. That being said their were several survivors who made it out before the blast. Ada snuck onto a Umbrella helicopter carrying the Red Queen ai and database. Jill and Carlos was saved by Barry on another helicopter. The RE outbreak survivors, some have been referenced in other games, got out by another rescue chopper. Funny enough even some RCPD survived with a police van.

In the original RE2 after Ada "dies", Leon can check her dropped gun and see that she had no ammo. It changed things and made you wonder if that was the real reason why she didn't kill Leon.

@@bit_ronic She couldn't have done it even if she wanted to. It just makes you wonder if she had the ammo, would she of done it? This is original RE2 Ada, the remake I think makes it pretty clear she really didn't want to.
Ada survived the fall somehow. She was the one, who threw the grenade launcher to Leon to defeat Tyrant and she was the one, who said " we'll call it even " at the ending.

For all those confused how she survived that fall, she used her grappling gun to escape. Ada has been using it even in 6 to travel long distances.
Sorry, but you're wrong. She didn't have it during RE2. She got it after the fall, when she showed Wesker that she had the G-Virus he opened an electronic lock on a briefcase that contained the hookshot, watch 5:33
Capcom tend to change the plot just like how they made 7 canon even though there are no connections to the entire series so I wouldn’t be surprise if they changed this one too

heronumber009 The only confirmed DLC we’re getting is Ghost Survivors, where we play as Kendo, the Mayor’s daughter before he death, and an unnamed USS operative that isn’t HUNK.

1:20 Leon knew at that point when he loses his guard cuz of that collapsed and Ada didn’t shoot. He already knew that she wouldn’t that’s why he lowered his gun and then tested her.

Ryan lex nope not at all, never trust a spy or mercenary which is Ada. That kiss might be just to manipulate Leon cuz Ada knows she can’t continue her mission with her injured leg, that’s why she wanna use Leon there. Back at that scene Leon was kinda of refusing so Ada went for the kiss so he would do it.
So the bridge collapsing was really the perfect test cuz Ada didn’t shoot to complete her mission.

Ada should have had her own scenario in the remake, telling how she got to the city, what she did and how she managed to escape. I hope there is a DLC for that.

So Ada fell off from that steel bridge and then skipped to the Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles where she get that wounds. Those wounds came from the Tyrant. Is Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles different games?
Chronicles aren't canon now, it doesn't explain how she survived because there the Tyrant fucked her up, now the canon is she getting shot and falling.
True. In both cases she survive. As far as I know Umbrella chronicles is not canon but this is the only footage in RE franchise where we can see her escaping from racoon city

Umbrella chronicles was always semi canon to begin with it. And even though she gets shot it still is. It's like how they merged details in this game but left out others. So I think how your edited video it still is correct. Also what happened in UC is reference in re4 ,rev1 ,re5 and re6 to a degree.

Ada may be purposely let herself fall (as she didn't hold tight Leon's hand during the hanging) to look for the sample beneath. She probably got the grapple gun similar to what Leon's using in RE4.
She didn't have her Grappling Gun yet in RE2. Wesker gave her that as a reward after giving G-Virus sample to him.

My question is, How on earth did Ada survive that fall? Like she would've needed that hook shot but according to the Umbrella Chronicles, she didn't get it until meeting with Wesker. I know the Umbrella Chronicles aren't canon, but if we're basing Ada's survival off of these two games, it's really confusing lmao, and nice vid by the way, we stan our queen Ada!

Basically ada survived the fall but she failed the mission for exposed to Leon so Wesker give her grappling hook for sample of G Virus and helping ada to escaped racoon city

Even if she had and used the grappling hook gun, falling at that speed and height it would have ripped her arm off or broken her spine unless she used it while Leon was still able to see her. That's assuming she had the grip strength to hold onto the gun through that and for long enough to get herself to safety. If there was water at the bottom, she would have been falling too fast and died on impact. I really liked the remake's version of Ada, but they could have made her survival a little more believable.

The one thing that isn't realistic about that scene is how Annette hits Ada with the bullet and not Leon, since she is standing directly behind him. If the scene happened in real life, Leon would have another bullet in his shoulder. All seriousness aside, though, I love how emotional the scene gets.

Has anyone watched wesker's report? He mentions something keeping Ada alive. "She was of some use so I had to keep her alive" or something. In Umbrella Chronicles as well as the dark side chronicles are like a retelling of the story from said characters perspective. Dunno if Wesker will make a cameo appearance in the new Re2 game.

You skipped the part of RE2MAKE near the end where Ada tossed Leon the rocket launcher, and she said "We'll call it even". Still don't know how how she could survive from that fall though, but I just wished there was a DLC content about how she leaves the Raccoon City like in Umbrella Chronicles.

Honestly it's kinda confusing tho because Umbrella Chronicles uses the B scenario from RE2 where Ada gets whooped by a Tyrant and the remake follows faithfully the A scenario where Ada just falls, which more confusing is that she receives a Grappling hook which is understood that she didn't adquite one at the beginning if you follow the UC and B scenario narrative
