Thanks again for the great videos, Edward. I'm basically doing all the same mods that you have done, and since it is my first SC300, its very helpful to have such detailed videos by someone who knows what they are doing!
I'm so confused. 250 subs and almost as many views right away. Honestly based on that you should have at least 1500 subs. I use to get like 10 views. Lol. Great job and love the content
I know you were thinking of doing a turbo on this sc300 but what about doing a n/a build with independent throttle bodies and velocity stacks ? Maybe shake it up a bit since you already have a turbo one in the garage. Just an idea don’t know if you’d like but thought I’d share
21Willy I would love to go full N/A as we don’t see too many N/A builds. It gets very expensive quickly. Take a look at the iTB intake manifold plenum. Wonder how much everything would cost after everything lol www.efihardware.com/products/2846/Toyota-2JZGE-DCOE-45mm-ITB-Throttle-Body-Kit
@@Edward3jr your right. I looked at it so many times and drove myself nuts just trying to come up with a way to get about 100hp without spending $10k and a lot of work. Have you seen those new torque amps. I wonder what hp they would give to the 2jz-ge. torqamp.com/
Hey Ed, did you have an uneven drop on your coilovers? I have the Tein flex z coilover, w/o any adjustments, my RR slightly lower then the LR. Car is stock. I know I can raise it up alittle but it doesnt make sense.
That seems weird to me. I did not have this issue. If you haven’t already raise all of them up to max height and see if it’s sill uneven. Sometimes you have to double check i
Im having some trouble with the rears and was wondering if you have any tips. Ive unbolted the sway bar link and all the strut bolts but cant get the control arm to lower enough.
Pete’s Carport thanks for hitting me up, since I posted that, I got lucky and an SC showed up at my junkyard though, so I pulled those. Appreciate it though
@@alexfrench8142 absolutely. I have lots of spare parts too since I ended up gutting mine. I kind of have a spare motor and w58 trans but holding onto it just in case for right now
I just picked up a sc and coilovers and I will use this video as a great reference! Thanks!

Pete’s Carport I appreciate the love, I’m just happy to be able to show everyone my projects.
Don’t ever stop RUclips, you deserve way more subscribers with the kind of content you put out🤘
Levi Ridgeway thanks bro! I really appreciate the support!
Edward3jr no problem my man
So I found using some big vice grips on the stock spring allows it to slide out easily. I put a few on each time and they slid out pretty easy.
This is good to know! Thank you!
6mm bolts with 10mm head.

do u rub at all
On hard bumps yes.
You should do a dirt cheap turbo to match the low budget theme for this car.
D R yeah! Trying to keep this project very affordable and still use quality parts

dope, must be nice having one as a daily
FitemeURL not IRL thank you!
Snow tires and some budget wheels only or more expensive?
TheoMusic978 I’m thinking somewhere in between. Not too pricey, not too cheap.
Some reps aren’t bad especially ESR,Varrstoen, comis racing etc, but I hear ya
TheoMusic978 been looking at those too!
Enkei’s aren’t bad RPF1’s if you’re trying to have a good time 😂👌🏿 but glwtb
TheoMusic978 love the RPF1s, can never go wrong with those

This happened to me. I ended up stepping on the lower control arm using my weight to bring it down more. Keep playing with it.
@@Edward3jr i had someone stand on top but still no luck
@@lalito._.01 hmm, if you have the sway bar end links disconnected it should give you some room to bring it down.
@@Edward3jr i guess ill just try playing around with it more tomorrow, thanks for the help. Ill let you know how it goes.
you wouldnt happen to still have the old struts and springs would you?
Alex French hey just now seeing this, I gave them to a buddy.
Yo Alex I think I still have my set of your interested.
