I've got a 95 Soarer and I'm eventually going to start doing mods like this too. Not looking for this kind of low, but it's great to watch people do this stuff specifically for the Soarer. Great videos.
Hell yes. Love the progress. A tip for the thread counting on the coils is to use a credit card or something of the like and slide it down and listen to the number of times it clicks. I've got some tiens as well and they are amazing.
I folded the tein sticker a few times and did that haha. I like the tein, wouldn’t mind them being stiffer. I’m sure I could switch the springs out if I wanted in the future.
I don't have any social media besides youtube so I can only reach out to you here. I have a question for you. On my 06 rsx, I have what I believe is an automatic trans VSS on manual trans. Is this right? I bought another VSS for a manual trans and it smashed the sensor upon start up and tripped the immobilizer. I placed the old VSS back in and everything works normal. I need to replace the current VSS but I need to know if it's an automatic VSS. I can't find what I'm looking for on google so I thought Id holler at you. Thanks Chris.
@@baileysims I’m happy to answer questions here no problem man. When I’m trying to find out compatibility for parts I go on a oem Acura/Honda parts website and cross reference the part numbers. That’s what I would recommend for you to do. If the auto is not the same as the manual for your year then you will need to get the right one.
@@ChrisBuilt92 that was my first thought, I pulled it and cleaned it up and couldn't find any part numbers on it. The mounting ear broke off too so that's even more concerning. I can only match from an image of the current VSS. You can see it here... ibb.co/RgHMKVN The one on the bottom is the original one I believe to be an automatic one. The top on was for a manual trans that got crushed. I ordered another auto one just now as it is the only one that looks like the one I pulled out. It should be here Thursday. Hopefully this crap will work. Thanks for the help brother.
@@ChrisBuilt92 ok so I screwed up. Would you happen to know what the bolt is directly above the speed sensor or where I can find one? Fucking thing flew out today and I lost 5th and reverse.
unless your end links are a week old , anytime they have to come out you should always have a spare set ready to go. when customers come to me for any suspension work that requires removing the end links they always get replaced.
i recently did this and recorded it also haha, feel lucky you've got the 1jz and not the 1uz like me because the fucking window washer bottle is under the front left fender and made it so damn hard to get the upper control arm bolt in/out. Good video man :)
We nd the camera rolling at all times. Then you can edit. I got a SC400 and having a bit of trouble pulling out the front struts. It would have been helpful to see how it was done. TY!
Sorry man, sometimes recording that way interferes with me getting things done with the camera in the way . If your on airbags the process is slightly different then struts.
Thanks 4 the reply brotha. But Damn, out of the box w/o any adjustments on the coilover, my LR is lowered then the RR. My car is stock besides the coilover. I was reading on the sc300 being built this way, uneven suspension components or something. I guess I would have to raise that lower side up alittle, which makes no senses but oh well until i figure out. But thanks!
@@ChrisBuilt92 well I’m rebuilding the entire suspension at the same time, so it’s going to be quite different. My car is still on jack stands, haven’t gotten to test them out. Next I’m doing quite a bit of engine work... so yeah my Integra won’t be driving for quite some time lol.

Thanks for checking it out, since the video I raised it slightly. By no means is it slammed, still at a comfortable height

Agreed, lesson learned for sure. Small headache but not too hard a fix
Looks great! Those wheels are 🔥
Thanks buddy!

Did you have airbags or something? I didn’t have to remove the control arms at all
@@ChrisBuilt92 Yeah man, uzz31 stock airbag suspension
hello Chris 😃 love the color on the coils that was a great choice.the car looks so good . nothing but ice..good vid brotha .keep up the good content
Thanks man! Much more to come
May have to do this on my '99. Looks great.
Thanks!

It is looking great. Nice Install video. 👊🤟
Thanks bud
Bro looks soo much nicer. Teins are a comfortable ride. They were problematic and didnt last long for me thoe😒
Thanks! Hoping I don’t have the same issues!
Have you played around with the dampening? Does it still rub on dips when set full hard?
I had it on full firmness, I raised it up very slightly and don’t have any rub issues. It still rides and looks good
Did you have any uneven drop problem? I have the exact coilovers and my car is slight lower on the LR than RR.
Not at all; i counted the threads when I did it to be exact. If you have done that I’d look to see if anything on your suspension is tweeked
@@ChrisBuilt92 did you adjust preload to the coilovers?
@@Gary8866z pretty sure I left it as is and adjusted at the bottom so the spring never unseated

Hey what strut mounts are you using? Mine didn't come with them so I'm not sure what to get.
Mine did come with them, I would think you should be able to use oem ones? Get them new
Just installed these same coilovers on my Integra GSR!
How do you like them so far

How that coilovers feel?
