Better Ways to Build Your Website Hero Sections (this tip will save you hours of time!)

- If you’re not familiar, a page hero is a name we’ve given to, typically, the first section on any given page of your website.
At a bare minimum, it usually has the page title or H1 heading, but it can get more detailed than that.
And since every page on your website is going to need a hero, we might as well get good at creating them.
So today we’re going to design 3 different page heroes:
A good, but basic page hero
A better, more dynamic page hero
And the best, page hero with the ultimate in scalability & customization
As usual, we’ll be doing this using GenerateBlocks and GeneratePress Elements - but chances are, even if you use another builder, you can still follow along and create a similar system.

New sub and new buyer of GP. This looks like a godsend that I ran into your channel here tonight (ok, this morning!) Kyle. This is really great stuff. It's either discovering your channel, take a long class on GP, or spend hours and hours and never figuring out such great but simple techniques. Thanks a bunch! (Just discovered your Custom Dashboards for Clients video...What!!) Nice.
Many thanks Kyle, another great video, I am sure most Generatepress users do not have any spare time to explore these ideas without your help to inspire these ways of working.. Much appreciated.
Glad it's helpful, Charles!
Awesome - ACF takes my hero to the next level...thank you Kyle!
Have been using Elements which I love but hadn’t used ACF before, thanks for yet another great way to use GP and GB
Great Video Kyle. Really helpful. I would really appreciate it if you created more similar ones. Pick a topic and show the ugly, bad, good, and best way of doing it. This way is easier for beginners to grasp the topic by the end, especially if you don't hesitate to repeat things along the way.
Great video as always, Kyle!
Thanks Toby! ❤ See you Thursday!
Hey Kyle!
You are just wonderful. Thanks for this useful video.
Genius - love this stuff! Keep it up, cheers.
Love this, the ACF bit was missing from my setup and will really up my game
Hi Kyle, it was a great video, I have never seen before that much info. in one small video many thanks. i was using it but something was missing thank you.
Great Kyle! Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed!
Like Always, You Rock Kyle with outstanding videos! For my question, I added an ACF field for the primary image I want to use on the left side of the Hero section. Once again, thank you for sharing outstanding videos which I am sure have helped many.
You know the video will be 🔥 when it is 13:37 long.
😅. I don't know the significance 😬
Thank you kyle
No problem - I hope it's helpful!
just found your channel, on going to move gutenberg
Good video
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed!
Hello Kyle, can you show me a hook which I can use a block of text in the middle of content area? for example, in content area, before last paragraph, after first paragraph? does generatepres has something like that?
Nothing built into GP for that - but you could probably use JS to do it.
Why do you use Microsoft Edge? 🤔
All the benefits of a Chromium browser, but way less resource intensive than Chrome.
@@TheAdminBar Oh. Interesting. 🤔Better than Firefox?
After submitting email form, I just see a zero at the /generate page.
Hummmm Try this for now while I investigate: theadminbar.com/generate-youtube-bonus/?dl=vf
