Fred Dibnah is a legend. Climbing up big old chimneys with his ladders and the way he used to take a load of bricks out of one side of chimney and prop it up with wood, then burn it and run off when it started falling. Proper man he was, RIP Fred
Bella is parked up inside at night cal needs a van to go home I will get a bigger welder for blue and then it can be used by 3 ppl on 1 job so a few will be driving it.
I reckon you're viewers have taken Cal into their hearts, the silent assassin type, a top choice for anyone wanting a first rate employee/company partner👍
20 years this year since we lost Fred, still sadly missed, I used to be in the steam scene so saw him regularly at rallys, he always had time for you. Keep up the good work.
Callum another great episode and expert work as usual can I just say Callum stick with what your doing I hope you know how well your going to do in the future work hard as you do your work ethic is spot on and you my lad will make a mint be proud and know what an opportunity you have been given well done and all the luck in the world your a top young man keep doing what your doing.
Its amazing how everything is coming together and the progress it shows the experience you have Baz not just in welding but in being a true human being .
Good morning Mr welderfabber, you looking good and sound positively happy. Things looking good most definitely moving in the right direction for you. Well done Baz and Callum. Look after yourself be good be safe.
Attention Cal Regarding the kempi I think the oem should replace the sides due to not suppling and welding hand trigger stand to safeguard against melting plastic sides. Btw hi to all welderfab staff from Victoria Australia
Kal you and baz relationship is something for other people to look up to and it's great the way baz treats you and the way you treat him. But how dose it feel to you the way he has made you a partner in the company.
I met Fred Dibnah once. It was a real surprise . I was a toolmaker at a figurine factory, and they were going to be making a model of Fred's land rover with the ladders on the roof etc. I went upstairs (into the posh bit), to get some parts and there he was. I said Hiya Fred, and he replied Yallright. He was a hero of mine. I was too surprised to say anything else.
It’s good that you can all have a bit of banter that’s wat makes watching you more enjoyable and going back to poor old cal there is nothing wrong with being big boned 😂😂😂😂
Cal is a lovely loyal lad not many young lads about like this no more just wondering cal how did you get in to welding think you and baz make a great team you can see he has a lot of love for you mate
I suspect Cal is living off takeaways now there is a baby keeping them awake at night. Fred D is a legend for those of a certain age and those in the steam area. Very down to earth and would put the PC bunch in their place with a Fred putdown.
That damage to the welder shouldn't have been possible, it's a machine made to melt steel ffs! Whichever idiot at the manufacturers design brief meeting that approved a plastic cover should be paying! Keep up the great work, it's nice to see a genuine everyday open and honest business growing and doing well👍👍👍
This one is for you cal, young blokes now like you are a really rare. Give it 15 years you will be able too name your price mate. You'll be £30 quid a hour plus.
Brilliant chapter, great insight into the trailers, love the cream filled chocolate donut Cal, keep up the great work lads, and the director for bringing it all together
Morning all . Brilliant video as always . Great to see the banter amongst you all . Top man Cal quality work . Great seeing you grow the business. Get Tom on board too your have a incredible team moving forward 👍
Baz, another great chapter. Your content is smashing. I'm hooked! The relationship between you and Cal is inspiring. Cal, take it from me, you need to watch your intake of sugars. As a diabetic Type II for over twenty years the health risks can complicate your personal and professional life. A simple rule of thumb is 1 Protein to 1 Carb. Be sure to take car of that bump your carrying. For future videos Cal will need to speak louder over the background noise. By the way, it wont be long before you will need a bigger shop fingers crossed. Cheers..
Cal, with all those cakes being shovelled into the furnace you'll be able to work twice as hard to burn them off and burning the welder casing does not count to the tally. Thanks for sharing guys, have a great weekend.
Aside, if you decide your shop is ok for the longer term maybe consider spray foam insulation? Not so much for temperature control but for muffling the noise some.
Callum - surely you have to be brew boy for a week to replace those kempi panels 😅 Easily done and not too expensive to replace. Keep up the good work fellas 💪🏼
A never Graeme one this week baz and yous are dowing fantastic cal is dowing grat work as well and yous are smashing it content is fantastic as well love woching evarey week
Callum....You're a partner now, so yes, you need to answer a few! Good insight on Baz's son temporary relocation back to England. He'll want to go back. Once you've lived in the North America, you don't want to go back.
on your Band Saw ? did you try putting belt dressing on the belt....I have multiple machines with that sort of variable speed drive, obviously, if the new belts help, you do not need belt dressing, but if it starts slipping, maybe give it a shot..... I have a flat belt driven lathe, a 13 inch South Bend from 1942 and I use automotive belts dressing on that.....cheers...
Love your vids I'm probably not the first one to comment on this Cal needs a clip on mic can't hear what he is saying and I think it would make him more confident overtime keep up the good work.
