      Daniel Williamson The black woman sitting on the couch, isolated from everyone else. As if she's a leper or not really in good favor with the rest of the cast. From what I understand, she gives Bond his retirement gift as she assumes the position, after she effectively de-balls Craig. It was obvious in this interview session. He had difficulty expressing himself and mentions that it's about relationships. Clear indication that he has been neutered.

    As a long-time Bond fan, I was one of the fans who rebelled against a blond Bond. But Craig instantly became my favorite Bond in Casino Royale. While I'll miss him as Bond for sure, I'm okay with his departure. He has set the bar for the next Bond very high, indeed. If producers think the way to continue Bond and maintain (or even believe they can improve upon) Daniel Craig's interpretation, it won't be with a female. Not because of gender, but because of the very real social and cultural ideals we hold. A woman can be flawed, certainly, strong and dangerous, absolutely, but there are social and cultural lines we don't want them to cross. They are the best last hope for some kind of empathy and sensibility left in the Western world and if we make women the same as men (admit that men haven't done such a great job doing things the way we've been doing them) then where are we headed? What's needed is a different approach to the care and leadership of humanity and the world. And the approach itself does not, can not, include the notion that some people are better off dead. A woman with Bond's sensibilities is not an improvement, it's a digression. She'd have to achieve her goals in much different ways than have become the Bond tradition. And I don't think those methods would make for a great action film. At least not a Bond film.

    Everyone’s complaining that this movie ‘isn’t for the boys’
    I see their points but, you have to have more compelling character relationships, so this movie just isn’t another rehash. I fully understand how ‘relationships and family’ might sound but that doesn’t necessarily mean what most people think.
    Just my two cents idk

    can't future scripts include Daniel Craig - untied ends coming back from the past that put him in the thick of the action/back in MI6/a message he carries to someone that gets derailed, responding to a cry for help/sent for by M/jump into a film/current affairs/involve a real situation... the possibilities are endless to involve him?

    If Nolan does the next, it would be a great chance to delve into Bonds early years in SBS etc with flashbacks or time-spans.
    As for the actor... not sire if Hardy or Cavill would be the best choice.
    Maybe get a semi-top actor who's great but hasn't peaked yet.
    Not sure who I'd consider.
    - Dan Stevens would be an interesting choice! 'The Guest' was as good an 'audition' as any. Shows he can be charming, menacing, brutal and in 'shape' as someone of that line of work would be.
    - At one point Charlie Hunnam would of been another good choice.
    - At one point Jamie Dornan.
    But age is a massive factor though, as in getting their worth out of an Actor.

    • @joshhunt4146
      @joshhunt4146 4 года назад

      Yeah I agree we need an almost unknown. Someone who has proven himself in a similar role but hasn’t made the big time just yet. A bit like Craig himself was. Charlie Hunnam isn’t a strong enough actor in my opinion. You can always tell that he is reading lines when he talks in films.

      No mate it’s the 25th official Bond film produced by Eon. Never say never again was a non-Eon produced film and was a remake of Thunderball, however if you include the 1967 spoof of Casino Royale there has actually been 27 Bond films but only the 25 films made by Eon films are counted as official Bond movies.

    On a lot of other fan pages I see so much dread filled with negative supposition. I think that’s absolutely crazy because we don’t even know where it’s going to go And where I remember everybody freaking out about a blonde James Bond. The fan boys run amok.Craig’s four Bond films have been somewhat uneven but mostly pretty strong. I have loved Craig as bond. Paul McCartney when he took the demo tapes of unfinished John Lennon songs and turned out great tunes with the faux Beatles reunion in 1995 and when news of his work hit the fanzines he coined the phrase called anticipointment. I see the Same thing here as the remaining Beatles did a nice job and I think they will pull it together again.

    My personal opinion is that with Daniel Craig, they've serialized Bond. In the past, the majority of Bond films had nothing to do with each other. Even Blofeld, a historic Bond villain, only showed once or twice a (Bond) generation. With Craig, it's been basically the same story since SPECTRE, most of the same characters and an extension of the same story. OCTOPUSSY (1983) had nothing to do with THE SPY WHO LOVED ME (1977), DR. NO (1962) had nothing to do with FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE (1963) despite these two being only a year apart. Each film stood alone. Add to that the serious study in Bond's childhood (was that even necessary? We went from Connery to Brosnan without knowing which part of England Bond even came from and nobody cared).
