DANIEL CRAIG (b. 1968) is an English actor. He is best known for playing James Bond in the eponymous film series, beginning with Casino Royale (2006), which brought him international fame. As of 2015, he has starred in three more instalments, with a fifth set to be released in late 2021. Other performances include his breakthrough role in the drama serial Our Friends in the North (1996), the historical drama film Munich (2005), the mystery thriller The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011), and the mystery comedy Knives Out (2019).
Casino Royale is a 2006 spy film, the twenty-first in the Eon Productions James Bond series, and the third screen adaptation of Ian Fleming's 1953 novel of the same name. Directed by Martin Campbell and written by Neil Purvis, Robert Wade and Paul Haggis, it is the first film to star Daniel Craig as the fictional MI6 agent James Bond, and was produced by Eon Productions for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Columbia Pictures. Following Die Another Day, Eon Productions decided to reboot the series, allowing them to show a less experienced and more vulnerable Bond. (Wikipedia)

It's that slight smirk as he's saying all the bonds, that you realize Craig realised how amazing the fact he's the next one is 🙌🏻
Watching back this interview 16 years later, we can also agree with the fact that he did an amazing job as Bond. He made an impressive victory in Casino Royale and rejuvenated the character in 21st century.
The way he speaks hasn't changed a bit.
While I was very disappointed with Craig‘s final outing as a bond, it’s undeniable that he has been a fantastic servant to the role and has more than exceeded expectation in his ability. I’ll never Forget the hatred that was thrown at him before he was even in the role, and how he turned everyone around into believing and enjoying his work!

or the deadly fanatic monk in Elizabeth the Golden Age

but he plays sexy so well in films
