I had the feeling at the very beginning that Craig was “interviewed out” and didn’t particularly feel like being there. But David very quickly won him over with his class, intelligence, and originality of questions. You could see DC getting more and more interested every minute and by the end they were chatting like old friends. Well done, sir!
Spot on observation! For the first few seconds I thought "Oh, this is going to be ugly" but you can tell David asked DC questions he enjoyed answering. Great job, David.
Calvin, you should try to get an interview like this for Bond 26 so we can hear some real, non-asinine questions from another real fan rather than the typical tabloid bollocks we (and the Bond family) have to endure constantly.
I hope Daniel appreciates that you’ve given him a direct line to bond enthusiasts, casino Royale was spectacular and Daniel should be very proud of that
At last Daniel Craig is interviewed by an actual fan. David asked the questions we all want answered. One thing for certain....this is the moment the Bond Experience entered the stratosphere.
Craig seems so genuinely keen to answer your questions, David. After having done these interviews for a week non-stop at this point, that’s impressive! Well done :)
It seem that Daniel Craig was tired of doing interviews, but when he realised you were a real Bond fan he immediately became interested in the interview. Its amazing to have a James Bond interview by a James Bond fan. Congratulations
This was legit one of the best recent interviews I’ve seen with Craig. Everyone else asked the same questions- you got new answers out of him. Loved it!
This is literally one of the best interviews of Daniel Craig I've ever seen. He's usually stumbling and repeating the same answers again and again. I felt like he ran out of energy before your turn. But he seemed to get more and more passionate talking about the style questions very quickly. Thank you so much David. I think he appreciated your questions just as much as I did.
I remember David called out to Daniel at a premier and he was wearing the tropical shirt from the parkour chase. He touched his collar and Craig recognised the shirt and gave him a thumbs up. Now this is progress! Well done David!
David Zaritsky conducted this interview in a very calm, yet enthusiastic manner and Daniel Craig sounded genuinely engaged with his answers to the excellent questions.

David, thank you for everything that you do. I have always been a tremendous than James Bond for years ago. I lost my fortune year year-old son the bicycle accident one of the things that helps me when I’m having a tough day. I’ll watch James Bond and I’ll go and watch your RUclips channel, you give a lot of amazing insight to the character of James Bond. Please continue the great work that you do you inspire James Bond fans across the world. Thank you.
I appreciate you posting this. It’s so amazing to me the ability Bond movies have to allow us to escape, but it can also be therapeutic. Know that you are never alone in what you go through…..
I’m so happy that David had the opportunity to thank Daniel not only on his own behalf, but for all of us who have followed this beautiful journey. This made my day.
I’ve probably watched hundreds of interviews with Daniel Craig and he definitely gives you a next level of respect. His answers were long and new. Usually it feels like he just wants to get through it but he was enjoying your better, more informed questions. Very well done.
So well deserved. You thanked Daniel but let us thank you for helping thousands through tough times with your relentless enthusiasm and content delivery.
Oh my God! This is amazing. So, so proud of you for getting to this moment with your channel. It’s so well deserved, David. Not only am I absolutely thrilled for you, but I’ve got to thank you for such a wonderful interview. It was a pleasure to see Craig discuss Bond with a fan, what a treat! :)
David. You're. A natural. Questions were brilliant. Best I've seen of any interviewer. And Daniel appreciated the questions and your respect and gratitude. You must be very happy. It's the pay off for all your hard work.
Excellent interview! I've been a journalist for 20+ years (and a Bond fan for 35+ years), and you did a great job, David. Two things really stood out to me: 1. Daniel Craig's description of how he sees the character of James Bond is exactly how I see Bond, and - as you pointed out - it's pretty much the way Ian Fleming probably saw him as well. 2. I totally agree with Craig's point about gags versus wit. Despite what some critics say, there has always been humor in the Daniel Craig Bond films. It's just more subtle and verbal. There aren't any "comic relief" Southern sheriffs or pigeons doing double-takes.
This opportunity could not have gone to a more genuine, humble, knowledgeable and talented human being. It was an excellent interview and it came across as not only professional, but interesting and unique in the form of honest questioning. I take my Oddjob hat to you sir and say both congratulations and thanks for sharing this amazing interview!
A round of applause for this man right here! Words cannot express how proud we are of you to finally interview Daniel Craig. Blows my mind, just blows my mind. Bravo sir, just bravo!
I watched with mouth agape the entire interview. Questions that revealed a deep, substantive familiarity - and love - of the world of Bond and not just shallow predictability. Kudos for a job very well done.
My friend this is a bloody home run!! As someone who has worked much of my career in public relations and media this was a quentessential exercise in true communication. An authentic and organic exchange of words and emotions. You rocked it my friend!!!!
This is the best interview I have ever watched Daniel Craig be in. Only a true bond fan could have pulled off those questions which went beyond interesting and pulled the audience in wanting to know more. A huge milestone and congratulations on this achievement for the channel plus you personally David. I've been watching your channel since inception especially on the fitness challenge. You must be so pleased and I bet it feels very surreal interviewing someone you've followed for a very long time. Just keep going and evolving. I'm really pleased for you, simply wow! Are you sure you don't want to be a film journalist as you did an incredible job.
Wow David this is such a beautiful moment! I was on the edge of my seat during this interview, I could feel your passion and excitement. Just as Craig has been an authentic Bond, you were an authentic host and representative of the Bond Community. It started as an interview, but it became a conversation. And Daniel was so engaged and thoughtful. Great, original, and insightful questions! So proud to see all your contributions to the Bond Community culminate in this moment. Bravo!
Think of how long ago they wrapped up filming for this movie and Daniel can still talk about the style in such detail, I think he's a much bigger Bond lover than people really give him credit for and I hope he's fondly remembered.
I cannot Believe you secured an interview with the man. Very many congratulation sir. How on earth did you know where to enquire, and how on earth did you know what the requirements were to put yourself in the mix. Very impressed indeed.
Congratulations David, well deserved. This interview was so refreshing to the usual questions we see Daniel being asked. An amazing moment for you and the Bond Experience.

I really enjoyed that… appropriate questions and I’m glad Daniel didn’t seem rushed to answer especially considering how many interviews he’s been doing. Also, thanks for the post script to share the process for such a press junket. It’s pretty cool to hear those details. Cheers!
I've read all of Ian Flemming's books and Casino Royale with Craig was soooooo beautiful. Daniel Craig looks like Ian's description of James Bond from his books more than any other previous Bond's. That's why he's my favorite!🙌
David, this was probably the best Bond interview that I have watched. Well deserved as well. You have deep knowledge and love for Bond so your questions were indeed authentic and real. Stuff that we wanted to know as fans. We got that and I could tell that Daniel enjoyed the interview and he saw your passion. Once again, congrats and great job my friend. God Bless! 🙏👍 🤵♂️

At the beginning you could tell he thought it was going to be another boring-generic interview with the same questions as the interviews before. But as the questions went on and they were different from other interviews and they were actual smart and engaging questions. He brightens up and get into it! Marvelous!

David, a tremendous interview! You more than earned the right to have this moment. Over many years you have built a brilliant channel and played a huge part in bringing the Bond community even closer together. Well done Sir and thank you!!
Proper chuffed for you getting to do this! As for NTTD I watched it with my Dad on Saturday in Newcastle, England. Really enjoyed this one, as much as Casino Royale. Will be back in the cinema again next weekend to watch it with some mates. Glad they are smashing the Box Office, they all deserve it.
Wow, that was a huge surprise! Great questions, I’ve never seen him so relaxed. I also appreciated your debrief at the end, you did a great job for having no guidance, congrats!
Cheers David. I've been watching your content for years and appreciate the work you pour into Bond. Saw you on The Morning Show & now you've been able to interview Daniel. What an achievement!

Wow David, I’ve watched your videos for years and years and years and never would have imagined this could happen. But you have definitely put in the work and deserve opportunities like this, congratulations man.
Congrats on the interview! I just found your channel. My dad was a Bond fan and I remember watching Bond movies with him. He passed away unexpectedly to cancer, but Bond always reminds me of the good old times together. For that, i will always be very grateful to Daniel Craig 💚 I really enjoyed No time to Die!
I just finished my second viewing of the film! loved it pretty much as much as I did the first time. Obviously it was slightly less exciting though because I was already familiar with the film. Usually I don't watch the same Bond film again for a matter of months. Still though! I love NTTD.

First half of the interview is a 10 out of 10. The second half unfortunaly was spent with thanking and praising him instead of using the time for more questions.
This is such a surreal moment, I've been a fan of yours for years, I even learned how to dress and groom myself from this channel in my early twenties, and for you to finally get this opportunity... Wow. Well deserved. Much love from Turkey.
Really love how you managed to pose questions, where Daniel seems much more relaxed than usually and not as guarded and/or "grumpy" as he sometimes can be ... when he's not comfortable in the situation ... or with the questions themselves.
This is amazing david. A great bond and my favourite, but so upset NTTD wasn't the film I was looking for. I'm not sure how I feel knowing Daniel approved this and thought the end was acceptable. The saying you have to remember its a bond movie, but no time to die doesnt feel like one :(
Although I didn't love the movie, I loved the ending. But I always treated the Daniel Craig Bond movies as standalone to the rest of the franchise and actually had a feeling it would go this way when the first trailer was released a couple years ago
@@andrewsharman8566 Neverr said that. Anyones entitled to their opinions. That's mine. But I dont agree you should ever show bond die. Goes against fleming character. Also, coming out of a pandemic to then get a depressing ending was a kick in the teeth. So many plot holes and laughable script. If people enjoy it then they dont see all the faults with the film.

I really enjoyed the movie
Have you ever considered that people have different opinions ? I thought the ending was a fresh take for the franchise
@@garethsmith6611 If people enjoy it then it did something right. Doesn’t matter how much wrong people say it is if people enjoy it that’s the point of entertainment
Very real and unique questions. Very good interview and it is such an awesome opportunity! Dc is most definitely my favorite bond and will be if not forever then for a long long time.
Amazing! You asked such great questions. Much better what the usual journalists ask. I would have been so nervous lol
Very nice David. Almost the same content as the New York Times interview with Daniel recently. Excellent!
Holy crap lol good man David, looking forward to this. He's been in good form in his recent interviews.
David, i think that was the best interview with Mr Craig i've seen. He opened up in a way he doesn't normally. thanks!
Very very happy for you David! Can't wait to see this! Been following your channel for a while now and it's great to see your hard work rewarded with these opportunities! All the best to you and your family!
This was the best interview from this press tour that I’ve seen precisely because it didn’t feel like a press tour but rather a conversation. Well done!!!
Absolutely amazing. I have already set a reminder!!! I’ve watched NTTD 3 times in IMAX already and plan a 4th Thursday and maybe a 5th over the weekend. Can’t wait for your interview, if anyone deserves this opportunity, it’s you!!! Can’t wait!!! :)
Wow, I might do that 😂 never went to the same movie on a cinema more than once but it feels like something I would do
Great interview!
You went to the premiere and didn’t say anything about meeting Daniel or seeing him, I knew you had something up your sleeve. Congrats!
Been looking forward to this. BIG congrats David. So well deserved and an EXCELLENT interview!
