Well, if you want to be technical, Debbie McWilliams was the casting director for Skyfall. I'm not exactly sure if she casted Javier herself, but I would assume she was a definitive role in casting him
@@steveleeart Was just going to say! Craig and Bardem have such good chemistry that they need to have a post-Skyfall rematch of sorts in a Knives Out sequel!
I am so glad Javier asked Daniel about the mark on his head I was wondering about that throughout the whole interview and it was so worth it to hear the explaination.
Both are humble gentlemen. Love the way they praise and appreciate each other. No wonder they are successful in their trade, as they both love what they are doing.
8:00 Javier is so right that Daniel Craig’s performance in “No Time To Die” brought James Bond to a far more dynamic range and depth that it’s ever been taken.
This entire interview was lovely, but the ending where Javier asks Daniel a fairly innocent question led to me laughing so hard I was wiping away tears. 😂🤣😂🤣
That mark was a distraction for me, throughout the entire video i was like "Javier please tell Daniel there's a small mark blood in his head" and thank god Javier told him at the end 🤣🤣
Rewatching Skyfall for the 11th time while appreciating the commitment, love and the respect exhibited by these talented people, for both their art and colleagues, on and off set, makes you realise this film is so much more than just a masterpiece. I often wonder whether the actors and production team behind this fully grasp the extent to which they impact the lives of their audience and especially hardcore Bond fans. The Craig era truely stands out for it's story, aesthetics and emotional weight. It's a tough act to follow, that's for sure.
Agreed. He is next level. Do yourself a favour and watch Dune Part 1, if you haven't already. The whole cast is on point, but JB's (albeit brief) time on screen is absolutely riveting - he'll have a much bigger presence in part 2....from what i've seen, I cannot wait.
I'm so glad Javier mentioned the way Daniel acted as James Bond in the last movie, he added a more 'human' trait to the character, a lil bit more loose, it felt more natural. I think he got tired of playing this serious James Bond character the way he's suppose to and reinvented the character very subtly, and it showed as he looked like he was enjoying himself again playing the character for the last time.
I liked your comment, but I have to disagree with part of it. Daniel actually portrayed the role the way Ian Fleming wrote the character, to begin with not "the way he's supposed to." That was him doing his research on his own not just what was in the script. That's reinventing the character. All actors after Connery tried to copy that suave approach, but not Craig.
Loved this interview! You can feel their chemistry oozing through Zoom, I wonder what it would be like if they were in person. I'd love to see them in a movie together, because they would both be freakin' brilliant, and it would have to be a comedy too. Somebody please cast Daniel and Javier together!!!😍
Just so brilliant to see two honest, incredibly humble and down to earth people talking openly and freely to each other with real sincerity and sentiment. Well done to you both and the team that got them together so relaxed.
Such a wonderful interview. Both men are very articulate and express their feelings so openly. English is a second language for Javier but he was very articulate in English. I kinda hoped Daniel's little girl would run in to interrupt.
My absolute favorite actors on actors interview. They genuinely love each other and have great chemistry! I hope they'll do more work together in the future 🤞
It's great to see again Daniel for another new interview after 3 months. I really enjoyed it so much especially, when he said about his singing skills, his giggles, more detail about the upcoming movie Knives Out 2, that I can't wait to see it, when will release it and the last part of the interview killed me, that didn't know his scar above his head and the Bond joke related about 😂😂😂. Also good to see back Javier after 10 years finally met again with Daniel, how he changed I didn't recognize him, at first that he was in Skyfall as Silva.
Travel Channel do your thing. You got a golden goose of a show here. These two traveling the world, trying new experiences or just relaxing and being tourists.
Tuve el honor de conocer a Daniel cuando estuvo en el observatorio Paranal fue muy amable con todos los que trabajamos allá ,se firmó la película Boom fue genial
I have bipolar disorder Daniel and his films literally saved my life during my dark nights of the soul and still do at times. I now am going into production on a limited series spun off from my feature Letters to Daniel. Thank you Daniel.❤
I love these actors so much...Skyfall was such a good movie...Bardem is top 5 Bond villain ever ....and Daniel was one of if not the best Bonds we'll ever see despite what everyone said when he was first casted...No Time To Die was a great send-off and very emotional...I'm excited to see Daniel Craig in the new Knives Out and whatever he does after...this is one of the best interviews 🙏🏽
Aquí en España , a Bardem no se le conocía esa veta tan sonriente.Me alegra verla, y también a Craig. Craig , I bealive is honest. The change of Bardem is welcome.
😄😂Love these guys as actors and just as human beings, their chemistry was so pure and enjoyable lol. This put me in a great mood, I could listen to them talk all day 😄
Very interesting to hear Javier say that doing Skyfall was one of the best moments of his LIFE. Wow!Daniel and the Bond team should be very proud of themselves.
"I aint got time to bleed" Daniel Craig interview with Javier Bardem. Beautiful actors, wonderful men, their enthusiasm is infectious. I literally cannot stop watching Dune - even prior to the BD;s release I had already seen it twice theatrically (the first time in IMAX) and despite vowing to leave it alone until the summer at least it went on for what has to be the 6th or 7th occasion again this morning. 43 years old and I have been behaving like this, rewatching films over and over, since 1984 and my first cinema visit - Ivan Reitmans Ghostbusters which resulted in the first viewing of what by now must be easily 100 occasions on a variety of formats starting with multiple Betamax rentals before eventually making a VHS purchase. 1999 saw the upgrade to DVD (the first time I had seen the piece in 2.35: since the cinema) and finally to the 1080p BD, my not being set up for UHD/ '4K' presentations yet....
Absolutely amazing job as 007 Craig…. Tremendous fact is I’ve caught up on all of the movies from your series as the hitman agent all except one within a few days up until the final film.
Incredible actors, love this guy's..thank you both of you for keeping us interning with all incredible movies, you guy's Rock, keep up the awesome work, God bless to you and your family and friends 👊👍👍⌚....
Whoever got these guys together needs a raise!
Well, if you want to be technical, Debbie McWilliams was the casting director for Skyfall. I'm not exactly sure if she casted Javier herself, but I would assume she was a definitive role in casting him
Definitely!
Why?
Jeff Bezos
💯💝
I need a middle-aged-men road-trip comedy starring these two as old friends. I need it now.
With their respective wives in a cameo
Preach
Hell yeah!
They'd make a good gay couple
@@patrickhicks9880 i’d watch this
This is the most relaxed Daniel Craig i have seen in years, Javier is always a joy to listen to.
Craig seems liberated and I'm here for it. I wish he did more outside-the-box roles now that he doesn't have to be Bond again!
I had a smile throughout the whole video. Javier Bardem and Daniel Craig need to do more movies together!!
If they do more of the detective movies Craig has done, Knives Out?… maybe Bardem could be in one.
Agreed ! They are humble and friendly people
eww you're an adult?
@@steveleeart ooh yeah!
@@steveleeart Was just going to say! Craig and Bardem have such good chemistry that they need to have a post-Skyfall rematch of sorts in a Knives Out sequel!
"What are we doing?"
"I don't know!"
That's chemistry, right there.
This whole conversation it's just chef kiss, I love how much they love each other 🤩
I absolutley agree, brilliant duo!
What a magical energy they have between each other.
They are both Pisces, this is the magical energy we feel.
I am so glad Javier asked Daniel about the mark on his head I was wondering about that throughout the whole interview and it was so worth it to hear the explaination.
so crazy it left that kinda of mark too.
Yeah, i was enjoying their conversation but the mark on Daniel's head was a distraction lol
We need a tv show of both of them traveling together.
Both together in SNL show would be so hilarious too and so much fun...
Omg, that would be amazing!
Like The Trip, but interesting.
Bring in Mads Mikkelsen too and we'll have the best Bond trio
Why? Why these 2 what makes them special to be on a travel show. Get a grip dude
They are clearly good friends, enjoying each other’s company. Thank you for letting us sit in.
Javier Bardem played, in my opinion, the best Bond villain ever.
Totally agree with you
Agreed! Stamp!
Daniel and Javier should act together again - but this time on the same side… Perhaps as buddy cops or two old friends on a road trip? 🤩
Javier Bardem was one of the best Bond villains of all time and the best one during the Craig era. He was why Skyfall was so good.
He's ONE OF the best. Love Silva, but Mikkelsen's Le Chiffre gets the top spot as best bond villain during the Craig era.
A great villain does make a great film
Fully agreed on that.
Both are humble gentlemen. Love the way they praise and appreciate each other. No wonder they are successful in their trade, as they both love what they are doing.
It's easy to be humble at that success.
Luvvies
8:00 Javier is so right that Daniel Craig’s performance in “No Time To Die” brought James Bond to a far more dynamic range and depth that it’s ever been taken.
Skyfall is one of the best James Bond movies of all time with a killer theme song.
This has to be one of the best Actors on Actors I have ever seen. They seem to have the sweetest friendship.
That was a delight to watch. You can feel the love and respect they have for each other. That last question was gold.
The love and respect between them is just amazing
One more thing they have in common: they are both married to a beautiful and talented Oscar winner actress
Its like they’ve already built so much rapport with each other it shows. They even mimic each other at points - love it!
This entire interview was lovely, but the ending where Javier asks Daniel a fairly innocent question led to me laughing so hard I was wiping away tears. 😂🤣😂🤣
Facts!
These 2 are the cutest!
"This is 17 years James Bond"---- It must be the most adorable reaction for this year .
The fact that Daniel didn't need a stunt double for that "incident" 😄
That mark was a distraction for me, throughout the entire video i was like "Javier please tell Daniel there's a small mark blood in his head" and thank god Javier told him at the end 🤣🤣
What a down to earth and likeable actors. So much respect and love between them two !
Aww macepan541 🤮
I need this two men in a comedy...the chemistry that they show up here deserves to be replicated more than once.
Such an uplifting chat between two great actors and genuinely nice and humble men.
Love watching and listening to this kind of respect and adoration between two people. The fact that it is Daniel Craig AND Javier Bardem 😍😍 oh my!!

Javier slowly becoming one of my all time favorite actors. He would be awesome in a western film.

I want another Javier Bardem performance with a crazy hairstyle, would be an awesome and badass villain
That's a great idea!
"No Country for Old Men" is almost a western and Bardem won the Oscar.
You can feel the energy of two good actors and decent human beings coming out and making you feel good

You can feel this chemistry in the movie, but now you can see where this come from...
