I was just thinking about the gloss neck on your Majesty... You said you're never going to sell it. Why don't you just knock the gloss back? Get something from 3M called Trizact. The 3000 grit will take the gloss off very quickly, and its got a foam padded back, so it is very forgiving. I use them for the final step before polishing on the guitars I build. They will get you pretty close to a gloss finish when you're working your way up the grits on a new finish, or just knock the gloss off an existing gloss finish if you just quickly go over it. If you ever decide you want to go back to gloss, all you need to do is give it a quick buff with some polishing compound. Just a thought.

Yep. I’ve had the black sct with emgs and I sold it. Regret tf outta that. Then to replace it I got the green sparkle the week it came out. Used it for about a year and I sold it. Again, I regret tf out of that🤦🏼♂️ when I bought the green one it was like 1200 and sweetwater took 100 off for me, but now they’re dancing around the 14-1500 range and although I’m flirting with getting another one, I just don’t know if I will. I do miss it tho.

As someone with a gloss neck majesty and a majesty monarchy with a satin neck, I think the glossy is actually faster and the satin can get a bit oily from my hands. But definitely the gloss finish quality matters since I’ve played glossy necks that were sticky unlike my majesty.
I genuinely can't imagine having such an extensive guitar collection, I have 3 guitars, pretty much only play one....i think id have anxiety having a guitar store worth of guitars 😂

I use multiscale 7-string Cort KX507MS for drop E and SubZero Rogue VI 30" scale baritone for drop D. And it's enough for me)
