The gnomes are a must get, and not just for blood bowl. will pick up the hunters as they were the only things from cos i wanted. Still waiting for the release of sons of Velmorn from underworlds, and i think the terrain piece in warcry might be okay if it is sold seperately.
Those gnomes are such phenomenal sculpts.
The KT Units cards are great, but as you might have heard, they are MASSIVE for some mysterious reason, so it makes them rather impractical. Typical GW

Another great preview of next week's GW releases. I also like viewing your reviews of other companies games. How about just one focused overview of Old World Warhammer? From what you've said about it before, it's not your thing. But your presentation style and views would make it immensely watchable.

Not too interested in the Lumineth warband but I will still pick them up as a set with the Nighthaunt. I was reluctant on the Mawpack last year and they ended up being my favorite painting project this year so far. Plus the Lumineth give off Harlequin vibes, may even use as proxy in KT.
I will definitely pick up the Blood Bowl dice though, they are gorgeous.

Are you nervous with the news about AoS 4.0 about the future of Warcry? Or do you think it’s not relevant to Warcry’s longevity?
I've been off Warhammer quite a bit since 10th edition of 40k released. AoS is really great, and the rules rewrite and all the changes is so unnecessary, though I understand they do these 3 years cycles to keep people spending money. When 10th edition 40k came out, that was the first time I experienced seeing all the codexes become irrelevant overnight; that sucked!
With the direction they seemed to be heading and all the shortages of GW products recently, I made a decision to make less Warhammer content and focus on other game companies and Indie creators as well as my own games. It's been awesome fun to share products that the creators are passionate about and there are so many cool minis and games out there that aren't GW. I still like some things GW put out, and will keep doing some news videos and reveals, though. They are such a big company in the hobby that it's hard to ignore them, and the minis are fantastic.
I started running tournaments for 40k and AoS and was looking to grow that side of the business, but when 10th came out it just wasn't fun anymore, so I stopped that. Seeing what they are doing with AoS now, it looks like it's going in the same direction as 40k, which is hugely disappointing but sadly as I predicted. Now Warhammer seems to me to be solely focussed on the ££'s and they don't care about the community all that much ... until the community stop buying their products. Completely removing AoS factions sucks, imagine how much money and time players have put into their armies?
For Warcry, if I play it, I use the original rules. I feel like it's a solid game, doesn't need constant updates or changing, so I just stick to the old rules. The OG warbands were so good, and the vibe of the game was brilliant. I think for those players who like to keep up to date with the rules - especially tournament play - this isn't cool at all. I don't think the changes are going to help with Warcry's longevity, or at least its growth beyond the fanbase it already has.
Change is good, I'm all for it, but when it's not necessary and has a negative effect on the community, then I think it shows that ££ is making the decisions above creativity. When that comes across in the marketing - which I think it does - that's when things stop being fun and I pull away from it. Rant over 🤣
On the positive side, I've been working full on getting my own games out there. Population Z, Weekend Warriors are both available and soon Rogue Warriors will release. That's a modern warfare skirmish game that we love. Coming very soon!

Is warcry worth getting into as someone who hasnt played aos? I have played Kt and 40k
Warcry is very different to AoS. It's a nice simple game that's good for a fun session. The original rules were brilliant, and even though GW updated them with a few changes, I stick to the old rules. The rules are free on the Warhammer Community site, so if you want to give it a go with a few AoS models, you can download the rules and faction rules there.
I got started in the hobby with properly with Warcry, and loved the warband they brought out in the first year. Corvus Cabal are brilliant. Definitely worth giving it a go.
I really wish GW would handle Kill teams the same way they do with Warcry warbands, making them unique teams and not allways 10 men teams.
Not all Kill Teams are 10 operatives. The Night Lords themselves are a 6 operative elite team (they just get 10 models to choose from), and even in the KT: Salvation, Blades of Khaine is an 8 operative team and Scout Squad is 9.
The rules for the new Kill Teams are really interesting. I hope they come out in White Dwarf like the Scouts and Scorpions. Not really interested in the models. Don’t like Elves in general and the Dark Eldar even less. The Warcry set doesn’t really do anything for me, either. The Gnomes are neat, but I don’t play Bloodbowl. So they’re nice, but I don’t think I really need them.
