Her solo career rise was not a cake walk she had ppl scrutinize her in many ways and she used her Beyonce work ethic to keep above the fray and cement her spot in music history. This album was soooo good. Even the deeper cuts like Save the Hero, Poison and Honesty. I just wished she would've played into the whole Bey vs Sasha Fierce thing more during the era. I hated how she stopped wearing the "robo glove" and the "Sasha" hairstyle. Even tho I get it was sometimes hard to perform with the Sasha hair. Also, i feel as tho Sweet Dreams is just a very personal song for her and thts why she doesnt perform it much.
"4" is definitely Beyonce's most underrated and under appreciated album IMO but you made some great arguments here. Awesome video. I'm the 100th person to like this video, i feel a little special, lol.

Yes, I Am had some huge hits like Halo and Single Ladies but as an album its considered the worst by her fanbase and its deep cuts have no legacy to speak of. As opposed to 4, which technically doesnt have the stats I Am had at one point, but continues to be one of her most streamed albums and is beloved by the fanbase. As huge as Single Ladies was, its not even one of her most commonly streamed hits at this point. The relevancy of I Am has dropped off over the years as fans champion other albums. Underrating I Am and forgetting that its not just her most commercially successful album but also has some artistic high points for her as well. You get me?

I am a serious Prince fan and I realized that Beyonce is as well and she loves Michael most definitely, I love every single Beyoncé album, b-day Beyonce's second album is actually the album that made me a fan,but what album did it for me even though we are in the Renaissance Era via country Renaissance Era right about now, "I am Sasha Fierce" is still my favorite album out of all of her albums for some reason it really hits me especially the slower songs and the album overall remind me so much of Prince especially sweet dreams even though that is a little up-tempo, great video you have me as a fan🐝🐝🖤

I agree on your take of “Sweet Dreams” that song is criminally underrated and should’ve peaked at #1 as well as “Halo”
