I don’t usually comment on here but I had to share this with my iron brothers and sisters, I started my weightlifting journey two years ago at 170 pounds and I hit my goal weight today at 200 pounds! Also I had a great leg workout this morning!
Yesterday, when I went home from the gym, I saw an old man getting robbed by two gangsters. Utterly in shock I asked myself: "What would Sam Sulek do?" So I went back to the gym and did my Cardio, because I "forgot" to do it.
Legs are funny to me cuase once you break through the “oh this sucks phase” you hit the holy shit this is the only day I actually feel like I’m literally being tested to see what I can fully endure. And then it becomes your favourite day
I keep watching these videos and wanting to go to the gym but im going through extreme depression due to a relationship going bad 😢 your videos are helping me because you're so positive hopefully I can push myself to get better.
9:55 relatable, I love training so much till the point I'm thinking what lift I should be doing and what I am gonna achieve tomorrow in school/bed, it's like I can't get the gym off my head 24/7 it's terrifying but I do enjoy it
24:47 those high rep squats will humble you like crazy. I used to swim and had great cardio (still do) but even then barbell squats left me on the brink of passing out.
Legs are just pointless to the vast majority of ppl who hit the gym because their purpose is to “look good”. You can have chicken legs and look good with jeans. But you’ll need a built upper body to look good in a shirt.
@@Pwjdjskw yeah for aesthetics but legs are fundamental and it is known that they help build strength in your upper body , so if your built and got tiny legs your could get bigger or atleast stronger if you start training legs
I started my journey technically march of 2023 but I didn’t lock in and get consistent till June I was 127lbs now I’m bouncing between 152-156lbs I don’t ever skip leg day and like Sam said b/c it hard I feel like that adds to the benefit of building a strong mind/ will power.
I used to do a leg marathon once a week, now I do 25% less but twice every 8 days with different exercises on either day. More fun, more overall work and I look forward to leg days more! Try it!!
Damn. Bodybuilders aren't always super strong on barbell lifts but Sam's high rep, solidly deep squats are very impressive for a guy whose first priority is not strength.
Nice I see some 5’s in there. My hybrid phases usually include a top 5 then a back off to a 4x8-10. The initial pull of the muscle fibers allows me to hit heavier hypertrophy sets.
Spinal damage and neuromuscular issues have me only hitting once a week on legs now. Doms and systemic fatigue from one leg day csn put me out of thr gym for a week
Feel you here. After a spinal injury I'm back up to speed with everything, but just can't to back squats without severe pain that lasts multiple days. They're really tough to replace as theres nothing else you can load up so heavily, incorporating load and stability.
The Legs are very big, the "Quads" are "Very Good" and good hamstrings but theirs no cuts in the Adductors and "NO SARTORIUS" visible! The Calves needs to be bigger now!... 😮😮😮
I’m supposed to have leg day tmr would love some encouraging from the man himself if possible. Love the videos and your my idol keep up the great work Sam!
Thank you for the daily inspiration 🙏 Been consistently macro tracking and hitting the gym. I'm thinking about starting to document my journey on my health channel. I've learned a lot from you even though I train completely different from you/ have different goals lol
I lift at home… are smiths really that much dif from free weight?.. I think he normally does smith squats, at least lately. I know theres a need to stabilize weight with supporting muscles when not using smith… is the affect on decreasing your capacity immaterial or noticeable?
Any time I watch these videos my kids walk in looking like they’re catching me watching something dirty lol I need to remember to watch with the sound off
The amount of bots everytime makes me sad. Anyway, thanks from Germany for making a grocery episode. I always listen to your videos like a kind of podcast.

Keep it up brother!
keep going the bulk continues lock in
@@TheOp716 210 is the new goal!🔥
do your cardio, then we talk
how tall are u
"The squat is kind of the bench press for the legs." That's just poetry, man. That's beautiful.
Sam is so consistent it's motivating
Got on RUclips, Sam posted 20 seconds ago. This is a sign.
literally
A sign to hit legs
Synced up
The universe is telling you you need bigger legs
Let’s go Sam! Never skipping leg day!

I think it’s funny how his leg days get the least amount of views, definitely says a lot about the community
all you have to do is walk into any Planet Fitness or Anytime fitness to see all the chicken legs
It’s funny cuz my favorite is legs since I see the most results there, my least favorite is arms cuz I got spaghetti noodles for arms
@ felt that, legs are also one of my strongest points

Yeah Buddy, Lightweight ! 💥
Sam is the Fitness Goat
2 videos early morning sunday is such a treat.
Squatting 4 plates for reps with no belt just shows you the amount of raw power he contains 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Can we take a moment to appreciate how smooth those squats were.

This is not even heavy for him. He's done 6 plates for 8 or something like that.
he is a beast no doubt
Aprendendo bastante com você. Abraço Aqui do Brasil 🇧🇷
NICE! I can watch a good video while eating my chicken breast sweet potatoes and broccoli while thinking about my next workout for tomorrow 😎

Love you Sam hoping your clothes arrive before Christmas 😅❤
I find peace in watching Sam talk and lift
no dramatic music on the background, just informative content from a dedicated hardworker
Casually repping a 405 squat like it’s nothing for multiple sets is bonkers
it feels like an honor to watch this video on day 69 of winter shredathon
20:40 “only 4 plates” 😂😅
Crime scene at the squat rack, you murdered it.
I love that barbell squatting is back, keep going
I force myself into thinking legs is my favorite day in order to not skip (it’s my least favorite)
Thank you for the daily inspiration 🙏 Been consistently macro tracking and hitting the gym. I'm thinking about starting to document my journey on my health channel.

When i was young they told me you cant build a house without a foundation and it never left me. Never skipped leg day since
He’s squatting all of that weight with no belt or knee straps? And his legs are so close together. What a beast hahaha
What does sams split look like? Is he following a chris bumstead split with 1 day on 1 day off or is it push pull?

Any time I watch these videos my kids walk in looking like they’re catching me watching something dirty lol I need to remember to watch with the sound off
Apart from maybe Tom platz, I’ve never seen four plates move so easily
Legendary tile, if only the cut were to go another 351 days so we can get to day 420…
Sam you are looking lean and muscular👍
Baby steps indefinitely. THIS!
23:50 YOU HAD 2 MORE!!

DAY 1 OF ASKING FOR A SHANS BRUH AND SAM SULEK COLLAB
Who?

Who cares?
I struggle to squat after hamstring curls and quad curls
what the hell are quad curls
It's not hard to skip legs, you just don't do it.
"Day 69 - Nice" 😂
No intro?
22:40 gotta clear out the phlem before heavy squats
only real ones remember the air freshener
The amount of bots everytime makes me sad. Anyway, thanks from Germany for making a grocery episode. I always listen to your videos like a kind of podcast.
The title😂😂😂
Looking lean Sam 👌🏻
Genuine question, how is he so big?
steroids, genetics, food and training
you should compete
The title is absolute astonishing
Based title
Everytime I see him, I want to go get a Caniac.
Barbell squats are so back
Ay mi marido samsulek
