Yep and you need to listen to hear him as he hmget older. He is truly amazing, his voice never fails. And Jimmy is still slaying audiences all over 🇦🇺 🪃 🇦🇺 🪃
I knew you would like this one too 😊 It is a very soulful song performed by 2 epic singers & Diesel on the guitar. Your description was spot on. We all grew up listening to these guys so I`m glad you are discovering them & loving their music. Loving your reactions.....keep them coming. 🤗
Both of these men are extremely powerful singers, when doing Duets they usually hold back so not to overpower the other singer with them. However when these two are in the same room, they don't hold back at all. They both just let rip at full volume because they have the exact same intensity and match perfectly when they do. The Guitarist Johnny Diesel (Mark Lizotte) is amazing on his own and is more straight up Blues and you will not be disappointed checking him out. As for Jimmy Barnes, i suggest two songs before the rest. Check out his song with his old band live singing 'When The War Is Over'. Jimmy and the other singer Ian Moss are amazing together. Jimmy hits his highest notes during that song. Then check out him singing 'Fire And Rain' with another aussie legend Marcia Hines. There he hits all those gorgeous low notes and shows his crooning stride. Marcia is also someone you will undoubtedly enjoy immensely. And her daughter Deni as well. The rabbit hole just gets deeper and deeper as it leads to other aussie greats.
Loved this! Just letting you know that the guitarist is Johnny Diesel who is a fabulous artist in his own right. Check out his band Johnny Diesel and the injectors if you're interested.
Another great reaction Gracie 👍👍 Always listen to either of these guys LIVE! Farnsey is astounding live,as is Barnsey! Next you must listen to Barnsey & Joe Bonamassa ,with a song that Barnsey & his wife Jane wrote called 'Stone Cold'! It is absolute FIRE🔥🔥 Jimmy really hits it in this one 🎤.. & Joe's guitar is sublime!! 🎸 ✌️❤️🇦🇺
These guys are great together they also performed when the war is over that also well worth seeing, when John performs each song he adapts his voice to suit the lyrics, That’s why he’s regarded as the G.O.A.T.and his on stage performances seals it. This man can and has performed all types of music plus Opera, His performance he gave on Jesus Christ superstar especially Gethsemane, on the final night in Sydney 1992 has to be seen.I love your reaction’s hopefully he continue watching Johns performances, there’s just so many you have a lot of enjoyment ahead
A conversational song in the perfect setting - whisky, cards, all patrons have left but these two 'talking to each other' in a meaningful way. My favourite version of this song.
You would be doing yourself a big favour if you reacted to them singing in a LIVE performance of this song. Check them out at the 'ARIA (Australia Recording Industry Association) Awards' and/or 'Hey, Hey, It's Saturday' TV program. They are wonderful and John's Soul shines when he's doing it LIVE!
It is called a vocal squall. They also do runs up and down. The guitarist is jimmy's bro-in-law Johnny Diesel. Look this song up, live on our Hey, Hey it's Saturday show, Diesel sings as well.
Welcome to the John Farnham ride. Try to find the a version of this, it will blow your mind. Really enjoying your reaction to John, he is our national treasure and you have no idea exactly what you're in for when you listen to his catalogue. He is called The Voice for a reason :)
G'day Yes there Nick names are Barnesy and Farnesy , just a bit on Jimmy Barns he started in a rock band called Cold Chisle as the lead singer , John can sing any type of song Oprah to Rock , John was also was in theatre with shows like God Spell and Pippen which I seen him in just a all round Guy , John is happily married to his wife Jill since 1970s where thay met on a stage play called Georgey Girl in the early 70s , thay live on a Farm where thay both ride equestrian events together thay live in a little town just east of Melbourne Victoria , thay has to boys one is in a Rock band and the other is in sound producing , Gary
Hi Gracie, great reaction as usual. One of my favourite songs. Can you please do a reaction to John Farnham ‘Gethsemane’ live. The performance is from the musical Jesus Christ Superstar.
You will love this Jimmy Barnes duet with Josh Teskey, of the Teskey Brothers. It is foot-stomping cover of Do You Love me. And if you go d own the Jimmy Barnes or Teskey brothers rabbit holes, you are in for a treat.
Hi Gracie, as I had watched all new releases in my suggestions which I was interested in and tonight was not in the mood for any experiments with unknown artists and songs I thought I might scroll your channel for a song and artist I already know and love, and this one was the first that caught my attention and had me think "yes, I want to listen to this again" and enjoy your unique reaction to it... You did not disappoint 🤣🤣🤣 Both of them have great voices, but I must say I'm an even bigger fan of Jimmy Barnes than of John Farnham, and especially of one song of his that always gets me in a very good mood. I've checked your channel, you have not reacted to it yet and I would love to watch your reaction, I'm sure it will be epic because you'll not only get GREAT vocals by a seasoned Jimmy (this was recorded 8 years ago, so he's about 25 years older than in this reaction video...) but also some EPIC GREAT guitar (I know you love a good guitar...) by one of the most prolific blues / rock guitarists of our days, Joe Bonamassa who worked with some of the greatest artists like Beth Heart and more... AND it is another very beautiful love song... - can you resist? I hope not! + It says "Official Video" but it actually is a live in studio recording, so what you'll see is what you'll hear... mind blowing, both of them! Jimmy Barnes - Stone Cold feat. Joe Bonamassa - Official Video ruclips.net/video/IyXFHr5jylI/видео.html You have a great day and enjoy it! Peace! And love!
Hi Gracie..... I'm so glad you are loving Barnesy and Farnesy and yes.... that is what Australians do... if we don't just shorten words, we add an o or a y at the end of them lol..... eg. BBQ is barby in Australia... so anyway.... for a more modern group we have who are amazing, called the DMAs I'll add a link... this is their version of Chers 'Believe' on the Triple J radio station live studio performanes - brilliant.... so talented....xx ruclips.net/video/MmwFnoMoDDg/видео.html
@@GracieReacts Oh you did too. and I was right about the tissues wasnt I . Such a beautiful song . A touch of paradise is also another beautiful love song from John. Im loving your reactions .
When you watch the reactions of this song by women, there is literally NO WONDER why the brothers get to push their love into these women. The brothers make them feel the contortionists kind of good.
One of the greatest duets I've ever heard!
