Jimmy, John and Diesel are all fantastic in their own right, but together they all show respect for each other and give everyone their time to shine. Pure music joy ❤
Whilst most prefer live performances from both these guys, I really love this recording, the chemistry is insane as is their mutual respect. Diesel is a legend too, Jimmy's brother in law. I read a comment ages ago from someone in the know (supposedly, I have no clue if it's true but I love the story) that when the guys were recording this they were drinking and when finished John had a car waiting. Ten minutes later a call came through from the driver saying John had forgotten where he lived and he had to get him home! True or not I love it..
The chemistry between John and Jimmy is just awesome. So sorry you’re getting blocked because these guys are legends and have so many great songs for you to react to. Keep up the good work.👍
Fantastic song and reaction to it! Such a shame that the live one got blocked..many reactions in the past had no issues.. inconsistent yt! Diesel on guitar is awesome also and has some fantastic bluesy songs of his own.
the bloke on the guitar, Diesel (John Lizzotte) is actually Barney's Brother-in-Law and somewhat of a legend himself in Aussie music circles. The boys certainly do have a great chemistry. Great reaction.
One of my earliest memories is seeing Jimmy (and Diesel) in concert. I was 3 years old and he was my first musical love. I have not had the privilege of seeing John perform live, but this song is one of my favourites and I love seeing others find joy in the music of our legends Barnesy and Farnsey 🇦🇺
This is my favourite version of this song. You can see Jimmy and John are loving doing the song, as well as dueting with a good mate. Their passion for singing is ever present in every song they do. Looks as though they enjoyed yhe liquor too!😂
There was an early screening of John movie tonight. His son’s didn’t know how hard his life was until tonight. They said thank you because John didn’t know how much he was still loved and it helped. Thank you.
From memory it was 1991. I bought the cassette tape single for my car which was that song on A & B sides. When one side finished hitting one button played the reverse side immediately. Over & over....
Totally. It's so obvious how much they both just love singing, and to sing together with Diesel is icing on the cake for them. The chemistry is electric, and you could keep the lights on in a fair sized city from the power they generate.
Great song and performances all round and John’s vocal agility on show here again and endless range. But you need to look at the live version, always react to John live where possible.
Great reaction, shame about the original being blocked, there are at least two more video's out there that are live performances perhaps you can try one of these.
Hey Guys. Great song. Great reaction. This is vocally on point. Another song that is vocally on point which I'm dying for you guys to react to is a cover of Eminems lose yourself by Australian country singer Kasey Chambers. It is a live and the only live version of the song. When I first seen the title I was thinking Hmmm, A rap song sung by an Australian country singer, not sure about that... But honestly it will blow your mind. Thanks again for your reaction.
One of my favourite songs and I have to agree with you, the video is excellent, fits the mood of the song and makes you wish you were sitting with them sharing a drink and the story. Awesome.
Another banger of a reaction....You guys obviously love good Aussie music...sooo...Casey Chambers banjo version of Eminems "Lose yourself" will absolutely blow your mind. Thank me later 😊
Their voices together are phenomenal, the guitarist is Johnny Diesel who is a singer/songwriter in his own right and is also Jimmy Barnes's brother in law
Interesting trivia about this video, the bottle of alcohol on the table was real, and you see it at various levels throughout the video, and by the end of filming, John famously couldn’t remember where he lived 😂
Set up like a reflection of the night aor an impromptu jam session after a gig, the AC is off so it's a bit smoky, a half finished bottle of Jack on the table, a bit of banter while trying a new song, or polishing the harmonies for next time. Either way, the 3 of them are enjoying themselves.
An autobiographical movie on John “Finding His Voice” has been announced for release at the cinema for mid-May. This may be why access is being blocked … I could be wrong, it was just a thought.
Love watching your reactions. The "live' versions are so much better, especially from the TV show Hey Hey it's Saturday lol. So many great Aussie artists here and I'd love to see your reactions to them. Matt Corby, Guy Sebastian, Kasey Chambers, Delta Goodrem, just to name a few lol. Also Stan Walker (Kiwi) But try and view the 'live' performances as there's less of a chance of being blocked. Hi from Australia.
Here i was growing up watching these 2 here in Australia in the 70's and 80's and not once did i think that i was hearing the best of the best in the world. I just thought it was 'normal'. Normal meaning you don't get publicity or fans unless your good. Then modern music slowly came to the fore front ..ugh. I now realize that they were the best of the best compared to what is being touted as music today. How the standards have fallen.😪
How have you not done John Farnhams "Yo'ure the Voice" yet? It's arguably his best one! ruclips.net/video/6m2m_9Uijso/видео.html p.s. LOVE the reactions, he's awesome huh!
“The Saffer Commentator” is trying to “bait us” into a trap fellas. There is nothing wrong with the guitar work. It’s his hearing aid or moral compass that needs adjusting. Toss a coin😊
Johnny deisel on guitar is also a singer should check out some of his songs also
They got absolutely hammered making this video

2 Aussie greats farnsi and barnsi
The chemistry between John and Jimmy is just awesome. So sorry you’re getting blocked because these guys are legends and have so many great songs for you to react to. Keep up the good work.👍
The most brilliant part of the live versions is the ending...... when the 3 of them finnish A Cappella.......vocal perfection.
Diesel on guitar 🎸 is Jimmy's brother in law (he and Jimmy married sisters). Love you reactions.
Two icons and masters of their craft
Fantastic song and reaction to it! Such a shame that the live one got blocked..many reactions in the past had no issues.. inconsistent yt!
Diesel on guitar is awesome also and has some fantastic bluesy songs of his own.
Love that you picked the Bar / nightclub version. Two guys sharing the story. They both LIKE the song and performing it..
Wow amazing voices and synergy

Don't want to correct your awesome point, but too anal to not do it. Diesel is Mark Lizzotte.
Mark Lizotte
@@carolynejubberthat's him 😝😝
Happy Birthday to our John today 74 years old and he has given us the best years. Love you from all of Australia and have a wonderful day.
One of my earliest memories is seeing Jimmy (and Diesel) in concert. I was 3 years old and he was my first musical love.

Looks as though they enjoyed yhe liquor too!😂
Our wonderful John and Jimmy. I been been lucky enough to have seen them both live over the years - even in small pub settings. 💕
I’m one of the lucky few - I’ve seen this live. It was beyond incredible
There was an early screening of John movie tonight. His son’s didn’t know how hard his life was until tonight. They said thank you because John didn’t know how much he was still loved and it helped. Thank you.
Love your reaction to this. This is what music is all about
A singing master class
Love viewing you both watching, listening and honest commenting. You show real joy not put on. I find it very refreshing 😊
Appreciate your reactions to this video,. Thanks ever so much 🙏
From memory it was 1991. I bought the cassette tape single for my car which was that song on A & B sides. When one side finished hitting one button played the reverse side immediately. Over & over....
I love this version.
They are having a blast
Totally. It's so obvious how much they both just love singing, and to sing together with Diesel is icing on the cake for them. The chemistry is electric, and you could keep the lights on in a fair sized city from the power they generate.
One of my favourite duets🤘🎸🎶🤘🎸🎶
Another duet you need to check out is Disturbed & ann Wilson don't tell me is unreal ❤🎶🎸❤🎶🎸
This is the best version of this song by a long way
And Diesel! Jimmy's brother-in-law, from Johnny Diesel and the Injectors on guitar.
Dig deep if you want to find the VOICE better known as John Farnham. You will see no one better than this legend anywhere!!!
Great song and performances all round and John’s vocal agility on show here again and endless range. But you need to look at the live version, always react to John live where possible.
So so good❤

Yes! Thank you! I’m glad to see another person trying to sell this reaction! She absolutely kills that performance.
oh yes do this please - it is awesome. When you did Midnight Oil's Stand in line, you mentioned losing yourself in the music, Kasey totally gets there
Fucking amen Kasey Chambers, it's starting to gather big following and reactions ❤
Their voices together are phenomenal, the guitarist is Johnny Diesel who is a singer/songwriter in his own right and is also Jimmy Barnes's brother in law
great song. Love your reaction. You need to hear the live version from Hey Hey it's Saturday. 👍
They have already reacted to that one.
Interesting trivia about this video, the bottle of alcohol on the table was real, and you see it at various levels throughout the video, and by the end of filming, John famously couldn’t remember where he lived 😂
😂😂😋
Thank you for that visual, love it 😂😂😂😂😍😍😍😍

Thank you for the reaction 🇦🇺
No one on this planet can sing like John Farnham, no one
Actually, this was live on TV back in day on a show called hey hey its Saturday and icon of a show
The guitarist Johnny Diesel 🎸 is Jimmy's brother inlaw and. He is a legend in his own right. Both Jimmy and Diesel's kids sing.
All Aussie Legends. Have you watched 'Your The Voice' John Farnham Live with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra yet? If not, I recommend it.
Thank you so much for showing this....... :D xx I'm Margaret and I requested this xx
An autobiographical movie on John “Finding His Voice” has been announced for release at the cinema for mid-May. This may be why access is being blocked … I could be wrong, it was just a thought.
Do more Aussie music guys. We dominated during the 80s. Best era of Australian music ever. 👍👍👍👍
Thank you for the reply. Loooooove ur channel. Listen to it every night. Aus music in the 80s is the best ♥♥♥👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I can still see your reaction to the live version. Not blocked here

Have you seen JimmyBarnes andJoe Bonamassa together doing “Stone Cold”.
Good stuff !!
🙏
Brilliant ❤

❤
A suggestion? Vertigo...Live @MadLife 2021...listen for melody's Throat singing....and Ethan's Bass solo....cheers!
Here i was growing up watching these 2 here in Australia in the 70's and 80's and not once did i think that i was hearing the best of the best in the world.

As The USA slips into Oblivion...... We need talent to take us forward.....
The guitar you didn't like was a Fender. They have a reputation for being twangy. Many guitarists won't use them, for that reason.
👍
The video clip doesnt do then justice. John live is the best way , he needs no studio no auto tune nothing
You need to check out the guitarist's work. His name is Diesel. Maybe start with "Top of My Tongue": ruclips.net/video/ePWpolxEKiw/видео.html
❤️🇦🇺❤️
How have you not done John Farnhams "Yo'ure the Voice" yet? It's arguably his best one! ruclips.net/video/6m2m_9Uijso/видео.html p.s. LOVE the reactions, he's awesome huh!
