Good video Bryan🤙
“Always check those couplers”
Great advice🤙
Thanks James!
Nice job explaining and demonstrating how it's done. I've seen this done on a lot of the sites I've recorded but never had it explained to me what is actually going on.
Glad to be of help! This is such a handy tool to have when the situation calls for it. I'll telling you Allen, by next summer you'll be a pro at operating!
@@DieselandIron Totally, I'm learning more than I ever thought I would. It's really cool stuff!
@@ConstructionMachineryChannel careful! Once this industry gets into your system you're done. You can't leave because it's in your blood. I can't be held responsible for the construction junkie that quit his teaching job to work long hours running iron. I can't have that on my conscience 😂
@@DieselandIron No worries, I don't think I'm ready to work away from teaching yet but who knows what the future brings. By the way you did a nice job during the livestream the other day.
@@ConstructionMachineryChannel thanks Allen! I appreciate it
Great video 👍 , it's a good trick to have especially crossing utilities.
Thank you sir!
A benefit of reversing the bucket is so laborers can shovel into and out of the bucket.
Good point!
its great to learn something new. thanks
You got it! Thanks for watching!
I was looking for a way to clear a trail after a long winter (more than 3 feet of compacted snow), to get to my sugar shack more easily.
I will try this with my old Kubota KX61-2, hope it works.
Otherwise, I will clear snow with the ditch bucket in the normal position, pulling towards me.
I would think that on mini excavators that have a blade, a reverse bucket could be used simultaneously with the blade to more easily move dirt. While you are pushing dirt forward with the blade, you could either also push dirt with the bucket, or use the tines to loosen the dirt. Has anyone ever tried this? I found this when I was checking to see if my idea of bucket reversing and doing this was possible. I don't currently have or drive an excavator, but I am considering geting a 3.5 ton.
In a way this perfect add for rototilts, so complicated. Have you ever tryed one?
I have very little experience with them because almost nobody uses them here in the states. I think most contractors don't have enough exposure to them to see them being worth the investment. I agree they are very effective tools.
Nice video. In The Bahamas we never buy machines with quick couplers. If we do then we take the off. The rock down here destroys them. They are handy but just doesn't last down here. Most of the time we keep rock buckets on our machines and if we do switch to a big clean up bucket we need a labourer, sledge hammers and a bucket of grease 😂😥
I can imagine that rock is brutal on the equipment. Is it limestone or old coral? I would love to come see how you guys do things down there. That's a whole different animal.
Don’t know about others but I know you can also do it on GRYB quicks
YesSiRr!! LoL!! Mate, great Advise!!.. Nothing wrong with Learning &nd Re-LearNiN A new oR old sKill!!! True Story!! Haha!! Thankz brOthA!! ✌!!
Thanks for watching Phil! Did you get your stuff yet?
@@DieselandIron hey bro..no, not yet?? Hopefully sometime this week?!?? Thanks Mate!!
@@Filzkiiz I just checked my end. One of your packages just reached Australia and the other is enroute. It doesn't tell me anything once your local carrier takes over so I'm blind to the delivery date. Hopefully this week!
@@DieselandIron All good bro..il jst keep an eye out for it! Thankz for double checking it us..il let you know wen it comes.. thankz again Mate!!
Nice thing actually half of my needs a reverse work
What kind of work do you do? There are definitely parts of the industry that you will use this a lot but the vast majority of us use it as a one off kind of thing.
@@DieselandIron true actually I work in selling gravel rock and a lot more so I have a really big excavator that acts as a wheel loader but I have over 11 machines
@@DieselandIron and please Check out letsdig18 if you are interested
@@jeangeara4584 nice!
ok pal smood work nice please could you do this setting inside the cab as well, and jump tun?can you vedeo inside just to show please,
I don't understand your question. This video was shot inside the cab. Here's your jump turn video: ruclips.net/video/uz_6nxIPMjw/видео.html
hi there should have shown hydraulic controls in cab also for lock thx
I didn't include the hydraulic lock controls because they vary from machine to machine. Just because you uncouple a certain way in this machine doesn't mean it will translate to another.
