It's very interesting to see Scarecrow And Harley Quinn before they became Villains. We hope you enjoy the video and also have a great day! Batman: Arkham Shadow is an action-adventure video game played from a first-person perspective. In the game, the player assumes control of Batman who must stop a new villain called the Rat King from unleashing chaos in the city. The rhythmic, free-flow combat from the previous games returns in Shadow, allowing Batman to attack, stun and counter. Combining these three main abilities can keep Batman attacking while moving between enemies and avoiding being attacked himself. The stealth predator sections are also back. Batman can activate Detective Vision to identify the locations and the patrol patterns of all enemies in an area, and stealth tactics such as silent takedowns, inverted takedowns and hiding in grates can be used against armed enemies. He also has a large arsenal of tools, such as smoke bombs and batarangs to aid combat. The game's structure is similar to that of Batman: Arkham Asylum (2009), in which Batman explores a series of large but confined spaces. Batman can glide from heights using his cape, and use his grapple gun to climb onto higher ledges. As players progress, they will gain new gadgets and tools, enabling them to open up new paths to reach previously inaccessible areas.
I like how Crane’s voice in this seems to be a combination of his voices from Asylum and Knight. It’s higher pitched and more nasally like Dino Andrade while having the flat monotone and cold affectation of John Noble.
Elijah Wood as Crane is pretty inspired casting, he has a love of horror, he helped make that Mandy film with Nicholas Cage and did a good remake of Maniac
He does a great job giving Crane a more sly and creepy demeanor before he ever became the terrifying Scarecrow we know and love. Honestly I can totally see Elijah Wood being a great voice actor from Riddler as he really has that type of voice that you could believe Riddler is this self proclaimed genius with an superiority complex
Ironic af too how there’s actually a legitimate photo of a naked ass lady but with a cutout of jokers face placed on the head in Harley Quinn’s office lmao
@@RedcoatTrooperYeah cause Batman clearly killed joker. Yeah he so didn’t kill himself when he stabbed Batman in the arm that was holding his cure. Yeah that was sooooo his intention. Clearly not a reflex to a muscle being stabbed. Yeah Batman clearly killed him.🙄
This isn't the first time that Elijah Wood has done a DC comics project. He did Hank Henshaw/Cyborg Superman from The Death and Return of Superman, that RUclips made in 2011.
Spoiler At 3:10 when Malone mentions his parent death when he was a kid and you can see Joe chill turning his head feeling that he already kill a Parents aka Bruce Wayne parents just by mentioning about the death of parents.
To me that was the ultimate hint that he did it (the good old hamlet technique) that and that his name is Joe. Like what other important batman character is called Joe?
@@motor4X4kombat I agree that it should be obvious as hell I mean he is called Joe lol tons of other hints but for some reason I missed it completely, it seems a lot people did too. Maybe we were so busy looking for the Rat king we missed it.
@@RedcoatTrooper maybe because its a heavy plot point for batmam we all though they were not gonna tie it to the main story. And it was tied decently although it needed some type of finality. Maybe in a future dlc they will continue with it.
this is before akrham asylum i guess we need an arkham in gotham city like before arkham asylum ik we had arkham origins but we need arkham game in gotham
I love the detail of when Joe can’t look at Malone after he mentions his parents dying. Spoilers, Joe is the man who killed Bruce Wayne’s, AKA Malones’ parents.
Pretty obvious who "Joe" is, and why Batman is there pretending to be "Matches Malone". This game has potential. Too bad it's on obscure VR hardware instead of consoles where it belongs.
@@HBKshowstopper635He is in denial, yup. But I bet its not that he doesn't like VR, he simply doesn't have it or have access to it. The game itself is pretty good imo. Its like Arkham Asylum combined with Arkham Origins.

Never imagined the day that the scarecrow was gonna be voiced by frodo baggins
And we had Freddy Krueger voice him before too
then later in arkham knight he was voiced by denethor of gondor (john noble)
He was Sigma in season 10 of red vs blue
First Denethor now Frodo?
And he was voiced by Ratchet in The New Batman Adventures.
"Tell me Bats. What are you really scared of? Failing to save this cesspool of a city? Not finding the Commissioner in time? Me, in a thong?"
Actually, the last one would be pretty scary.

Like having the two rogues with psychology degrees interact. Lot of potential there.
They are psychiatrists as in MDs
Notice how Joe couldn't look "Matches" in the eye. A nice detail.
It would seemed that outside The Joker, everything wrong with Gotham is because of Crane.
As longtime Arkhamverse Fan, that’s a relief to know. 😉
Also Ra’s al Ghul. He was the one pulling the strings for Arkham City.
I am surprised that harley was willing to work crane in arkham knight, you think she would NEVER wanna work with him again
She quit being herself when she became Harley Quinn.
@@he-man36 doesn't mean she can't remember the past
Working with Scarecrow was just a means to an end to kill Batman. None of the villains liked each other in that game despite working together.
Scarecrow tortured her patients, Batman killed one of them who was also the love of her life....

NGL I found it really cute when Harleen played along with Arthur's thing with Woody!
Crane straight up looks like the riddler.
Hell, he even acts like him.

Honestly it would be cool to see him Olay Hank henshaw in a official superman project or maybe Play toyman instead.
So two Lord of the Rings actors had voiced Scarecrow in the Arkham-verse
The Shadow...knows what evil lurks within the hearts of men!

Oh damn, Wood's pretty great as Scarecrow!
Batman Arkham Shadow > Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
even Harley is better in this game
Crane is AWESOME
I didnt even know there was a new batman game
I'm glad we finally got to see the ventriloquist in the arkhamverse.

Pov w/ Harley 😳

Not just any VR Hardware, Meta's VR hardware. If you own Steam's or any other company's VR gear, you're out of luck
this game exceeded expectations and potential. im sorry you are just in denial simply because you don't like VR.

I don't think Arkham Shadow will be ported on pc or any other platform any time soon. AC: Nexus, RE4, Asgards Wrath 2 never were.
Good evening miss Quinn
Xtrawdktra remind me in my hotel room hey RUclips, this is my room is my room where are your monkeys get out of my head

Duh 🙄
