I have a P226 & P229 Legions as well. I got them in 40 S&W and ended up buying 40-9mm and 357 Sig barrels for both of them. Neat that I can convert them to 9mm, 40 S&W and 357 Sig at will. I must say that I enjoy them most in 357 Sig. I do save on cost by training with 9mm and finishing up in 357 Sig. Awesome video, highly enjoyed it.
Thank you very much. 357 Sig used to be my primary carry caliber. Used a G33 and eventually a HK USP as well. Moved on to 9 now though. Do you like the 226 or 229 more.
@@TinkerTailorSoldier1 I don’t think I could choose between the two as easily as you. One has a velocity advantage especially with 357 Sig and the other is more comfortable IWB. But I guess choosing between the two is harder for me because neither has an optic unlike yours.
@@TinkerTailorSoldier1 I have a handful of Armory Craft upgrades in route to me for the both of them. I suspect it’ll turn these amazing pistols easily into superb ones.
All I want is a p226 legion chambered in 40 Smith & Wesson with that optic how do I do that because it doesn't come sight ready and I don't want to get an adapter that will take off the rear sight I want to be able to either use irons or my Red Dot
Great video. Beautiful collection. I am on the fence between both Legion p226 and p229. I live in NJ so I won’t be carrying. I shoot at the range a ton. Based on that do you think the p226 is better based on recoil and barrel length? Thanks in advance.
Help! I’m on the fence about getting a 226 legion. However I currently carry my mk25 with a srt installed. Is it worth the $ to buy a legion just for the frame undercut and beaver tail? Need a honest and unbiased opinion!! Thank you
Sorry your m11a1 was problematic. Love mine and has run flawless at range, courses, and edc. So awesome I want a 229 legion because of the rail maybe one with a slide cut.
I just got a new P220 Legion 10mm SAO in March "24", i love it, my first Legion besides the P938 Legion (not sure if it counts 😅).. Now I'm thinking of a P229 SAO! Good video thanks for sharing!

@@TinkerTailorSoldier1 357 Sig is such a pleasure out of the P229 and P226. I just have to stick with it and it’s advantages.

Great review. Thanks.
No problem! Thanks for watching!
Those are two of my favorite SIGs before the 365 and all those other brand new ones came out
I do like the 365, that’s my daily carry. 365xl that is.
Thanks for sharing. Respect.
Proud P229 Legion owner.
Any thoughts for a range review?
Insightful.
Question! Do the PP26 Legion made in the Compact version. What's the Barrel Length of the PP26. Does it come in two-tone, Black & Silver.
The P229 is the compact version of the P226. 4.4” vs 3.9” t
There is not a Legion two tone but there is (or was) a two tone version of the P226.
The p226 is the best pistol I’ve ever fired. It’s the most complete pistol out there.
I love them. I had as many as 5 P226s one point.

My brother... just pick up my 229 and no regrets.
Note: I met the Sig P226!

If I was going to do Legion, I would say the P229.
I would take a P226 Stainless Elite or Mk25 over the P229 legion though.
If it’s just a range gun get the full size 226
@@markcurry3083 I bought the P320 X5 Legion and love it. I own a 2009 P220 so I didn’t want to go that route.
@@Beerbbqdude nice man I just got a 229 legion sao and a p320 x full. The p320 is very nice, I hope the x5 legion trigger is better!
You can put those grips on any 226

I would definitely say no. I have a SRT in my Mk25 as well and it’s one of my favorites.
If choose it over the 226 legion any day
@@TinkerTailorSoldier1 thank you for getting back to me!
Cold.
Why modify the mk25? The whole appeal being that it's the exact gun the Seals use. Why not just get a regular p226 if you're going to fuck with it?
Flat faces and shorter resets are something I like and make the handgun more enjoyable to shoot.
Anyways… I actually have 2 Mk25’s.
Sig should include the protective shield
Are the magazine different from regular p226?
They are not. They are the same. But I think 15 round mags might be the standard in many P226s
as a left handed shooter no slide problems here lol.
I have that same JBL what are the odds

I really wanted to like it and keep it, it’s nice looking gun. Maybe I’ll try one again later on.

🇺🇦👍
Dam two puny 9mm HA HA HA HA HA HA .I guess sig don't make a big 45.GO BIG BORE OR GO HOME
They do have models in 45, I just greatly prefer 9mm more.
Yes Sig make two Legions in 45acp. P220 in DA/SA and the P220 SAO (single action only) which I have.
