For the yiga clan. One shot them with the "Ancient Arrows". Than you don't have to sneak up on them. You can still keep your distance and rage through the hide out.
At the motion controlled shrine shown I just flipped the maze over and did it that way.
Same here. Was lying in bed and the ball wouldn't stop dropping out of the maze. But upside down was a breeze :D

I phoned it in and turned the whole thing upside down and caught the ball on the underside... the rolled it down a blank platform
That one shrine that makes you want to throw your controller, I flipped the ball to me and picked up the ball and dropped it where it's supposed to go 😁🥰

0:24 did this by accident the first time, but i just turn the whole maze upside down and use the flat underside of it instead of the maze at all

1:07 moving the rock next to the boat first, then climbing up and grabbing it as it rises saves you a bomb arrow and angular issues, shoting the balloons later, etc.

I just used ancient arrows on the Yiga clan, took me like 5 mins to clear up everything and get out from there :D
The arrow multiplayer trick also works on the cooking pot at the Gerudo Bazaar area
The arrow chest in eventide island is gonna help so much
For the motion control maze shrine, I flipped the maze over entirely on the other side so it was flat

I used Stasis to freeze the ball in air just after it fell, then switch to a bomb and throw it towards the ball. After it explodes, it'll send the ball (often a random direction) but it only took me two tries for it to land on the ramp and roll into the funnel.
I knew many of these already. But, the first one with the flameblade caught me by surprise for some reason. Wonderful video.
Lol, another way to get through the Yiga clan hideout is via the use of stasis+ and ancient arrows. That is how I did it. Just obliterate all the guards.

@0:50 you can also just flip the entire platform upside down and do it that way too
for the ball in a maze quest, you can actually get the ball to the first false end and sort of swing the controller so that the ball gets flung to the entrance ahahaha. i’ve actually always thought that was the right way to do the quest lmao even though it was an accident

Haha...that's hilarious. I actually used stasis to knock it over to the entrance. That shrine is so frustrating, and the Mirro Shaz shrine...uuuggghhh...lol.

I have a feeling Tears of the Kingdom might have a bid for best game ever if it includes the level of freedom of choice this game does with additional mechanics we didn't think of for the first game. I'll almost be disappointed if it isn't in the conversation, at least. BotW took over my old favorites in the last few years as my favorite game if all time, so TotK has a huge legacy to live up to. I think the delays will be worth it.

I hated the Yiga hideout at first, when I fought one and they had so much hp and could one-shot me. I succeeded by using the bananas as a distraction. It's nice to know I can one-shot them back when using stealth, and I love the thought of going around killing them all with a Korok leaf. 😂

I didn't know the flame blade would work that way. I really should have because of the way we can use thunder blades to make a shock trap. Most Bokoblin archers will also drop a 5 arrow bundle if they didn't see you and start shooting. Being sneaky has its rewards.
Absolutely LOVED the Lizalfo-rang!! Awesome idea!! Keep making these videos - you do a great job!! Another tip of how to use your supplies for other ideas - you can use rock salt on switches instead of standing on them or using a barrel. This is a handy trick in shrines!!! Plus, that maze shrine drove me absolutely BONKERS until I figured out the trick you mentioned - it literally SAVED my Wii!! AND my sanity!!! Another tip is: you can use chu jelly - like the red chu jelly to set fire to other stuff - so if you don't have a lot of flame arrows, spread around the red chu jelly, hit it with a regular arrow, and BAM!! Instant fire - or shock, or freeze - you can also use the white or blue chu jelly to put OUT fires.

For those that might not know, when swinging a 2H weapon to do a stasis launch, you can hit B mid-swing to stop, which can either limit your hits, or cancel the ground smash and save a little bit of damage from your weapon!

As for the Yiga Clan hideout though, you can make it through the entire place staying above their heads & out of sight. As a not great gamer, finding a height advantage whenever possible makes a huge difference. But also, I have a lot of fun with distance attacks from on high, & as long as you're high enough, they can't even figure out what's happening to them. It really tickles me. 💥💥💥😂

I'm gonna be honest... I don't have the patience to sneak past all the Yiga Clan soldiers, so I always completely cheese the hideout by just taking them all out with ancient arrows.
Yes!!!! I think it was my fourth time trying and when the alarm went off I just started shooting and then realized I still had ancient arrows loaded and they simply poofed out of existence. I still got killed but the next time through, it was a breeze.
I WISH I had thought of this my first go around. I played for a solid year and a half before I got squirelly and wanted the ancient armor/weapons. I didn't know for the longest time those arrows could just poof enemys. Soon as i figured it out I was on lynels like white on rice
So I'm not the only one to go that route lol

Arrow farming in the gerudo kara kara bazaar is also possible. A gerudo lady sells watermelon among other things, left of her there's a fire. Do the same and it will work just as well. Stand next to the fire so the arrow ignites and shoot it in the ground. If you position yourself correct, you can just mash zr and a. 999 takes me 10 minutes. These are the only two places it works I belive. Don't know why

I've been aware of the Eventide arrow box for a while, but it's pretty tedious. Any time I'm getting a bit low on arrows I find it far more enjoyable warping to Lanayru Tower and then just fighting my way toward Zora's Domain, killing everything in my path. As noted, the Lizalfos drop masses of arrows along that route, and there are some decent weapons too.
That is what I do a lot as well … I go for all the Lizalfos … much more satisfying 😉
I flip the platform over completely. Now I just wind-bomb over. great video.

I adore you so much. I hope your channel takes off. You've already helped me so much--with the electricity and the test of strength, and then with how to defeat guardians and keep retrying to get giant cores. Now I learn you can use fire sword to light shît, and great info on bows and arrows. And to top it off, you're extremely pleasant to listen to. Southern accent for days!!! Conserve arrows by always picking them up first - shooting high apples out of trees to make a korok appear makes an apple with an arrow stuck in it fall to the ground. If you walk up and click A to 'take' you will likely only get the apple, and the arrow has vanished ! Walk around the apple and move back and forth until you get the prompt for the arrow. After you take the arrow, take the apple

I'm late to the party, but I've been waiting since release day to find someone who does that motion control shrine the same way I do.
Hahaha yes that shrine was miserable for me! The maze wasn't to bad, you just gotta go slow. But tilting the maze to get enough ball speed to flip it on the platform killed me. After several attempts I removed the joy-cons (you only need the right, but both need to be removed) and I sent that ball flying after manipulating the controller lol.
The shrine at 0:30, i completed it by turning completly the plato upside down. No structures on the other side. Just turn the contreller (i played on tv)

The shrines where you have to get the ball through a fence maze, Just turn the controller upside down, there's no fence on the other side and you just carefully roll the ball into the hole, so much faster
For the platform trick...i accidently flipped my joy-con and it tossed the ball right in the right spot...just flick it! :D

I'm almost on my last quest to Ganon and not once use octo baloons. They never came to my mind when to use... jfc.
Hi! one addition to the lizafos+farming arrows strategy! if you equip a wooden shield (i recommend the Soldier´s Shield, the blue rounded one, i think its the most easiest/resistant wooden shield to find in the game), you can collect each arrow that lands on it... so each arrow you recieve from those lizalfos at Zoras Domain, its an arrow stuck on you shield that you can have 🙌. Until the shield breaks of course 😅😂.
It takes time, but if you are on an adventure/exploration mood with 2 or 3 of those shields, you can get plenty of arrows 💪...
ps. it only works with normal arrows👀

Wow, also didn't know that the Yiga Blademaster's died to any strength weapon when sneakstruck! I always used Sneakstrikes against them & was always using strong weapons, had no idea! Amazing video!

Oh my gosh, that flame sword in the shrine trick is so cool! For the Yiga clan, I've always used Stasis+ in the first part. Then go up the ladder to the rooms above the big difficult area with all the patrolling guys. (There's a room with a whole whack of bananas and a chest with a topaz). You can climb on the screen-wall that opens above the area and make it all the way along to the ladder in the back corner. Jump over to it, which can be tricky, then stasis the guy guarding the next door and hop down behind him (just watch for the guy patrolling up and down toward him). This way you can bypass most of the stealth mission. :)

You can go back through after defeating Kohga to get the treasures. And don’t forget to take his picture if you’re trying to complete the Compendium.

Wow those tricks are all so neat, I never think to be creative like that. I couldn't have discovered your channel at a more perfect time though, I started my first playthrough about 6-8 weeks ago & yeah I've had the game since 2020 but I was too scared of the enemies on the first try so I never left the Great Plateau but now I feel so silly for ever being scared of bokoblins lol the only monster I haven't tried fighting yet is a lynel though, they are intimidating. I also never think to use octo balloons for anything but since I just did all those tough shines & that accursed Lurelin Casino korok within the last few days I'll have to try you methods on the next playthrough but it doesn't mean I can't try & implement them elsewhere. Thanks for taking your timing for this channel I always look forward every new upload.

Just use ancient arrows with the yiga clan. They get sucked up by the black hole of the arrow and are just gone and can't alert the others anymore.

I’ll be honest though, being someone who grew up playing video games botw made me realized I have become conditioned to think in traditional game ways to solve things. When I saw on youtube people solving shrines in ways like for example dropping an electric sword to continue the electricity chain rather than do what the game intended you to. Or even what was shown in this video about lighting torches by lifting and carrying flame swords over far away torches or electrifying horses to ride them, those things just did not occur to me and I was frustrated they didn’t
I love this game for that, it allows you to have so much freedom💞

I rolled the ball to the closet side to myself and tilted it to the left to keep the ball in the corner, then I rolled the ball to the edge and froze it to hit it straight across to the other side.

I cleared it this way. It was discovered after flipping my controller in frustration.
