Here he is only 17 and she is younger. Just WONDERFUL!!! And two years later they are already first soloists on the Bavarian State Ballet in Munich!! With many prizes and performances in London. Soon they will be performing on the Royal Ballet in London!!
Antonio are the best. He performance are perfect.
One feels it could be the story of their own young lives , so convincingly performed it is. And impeccably danced.
Bravo to all involved in this outstanding production by very young dancers. It was brilliant. I'm now following Fernandes and Casalinho's careers with great interest. They will go far.
How wonderful these young artists are! All so fresh and spontaneous. Excellent Staging - so natural. And so clear.
Antonio's entrance in act two is the finest ever, the dropped shoulder has so much regret and despair in it.

Sweetly done by this talented young cast. The tempi are appropriately swift and light, unlike the ponderous tempi of modern day productions of the classics. Mania Gielgud knows how Giselle should go. Very enjoyable. Thank you.
Casalinho truly matured since his win in Grand Prix de Lausanne...Both he and Fernandes are excellent and have a tremendous future ahead. Bravissimo!
This is a wonderful production, worthy of a professional company. Fine technique with all the classical nuances of épaulement and musicality are shown by these young dancers, very clear mime, lovely corps de ballet. Bravo to all, and to Maina Gielgud.

Casalinho and Margarita both have superb and rock-solid technique. But Margaritas artistry in such a young age is something to be praised. Casalinho has an undeniable charisma - but Margarita has pantomime abilities like we don't often see even in established and well-known dancers. She exudes classical ballet!... I'm curious to see her in contemporary pieces in Munich.
Amazing performance. But an ice 🧊 public. No to clap 👏 the entrechats for both of them, it is no just for the dancers

Watch Ratmansky’s Giselle version. It is sublime and just so brilliant as it captures the story so well. The artistry is sublime. The Bolshoi are superb in this 2021/2 production.

Bailarinos impecáveis, mas o que realmente me chamou a atenção é a iluminação do palco, achei muito fraca!
Wonderful dancers but the choreo of Myrtha is totally weird...nothing elegant, sharp and frightful like Myrtha should be. And the lightning...absolutely strange. Sometimes it is so dark, that you can hardly see anything of the dancing.
Oh senhores encenadores!!! Que vos passou pela cabeça de porem a Giselle, no minuto 18' 57, a servir água ou uma qualquer bebida (supostamente as senhoras grã-finas daqueles tempos não beberiam vinho) NUM TÍPICAMENTE PORTUGUÊS GARRAFÃO DE 5 litros??? Não podiam ter encontrado, mesmo numa casa de gente modesta, um jarro ou uma coisa mais modesta? Mas um GARRAFÃO de 5 l... não lembra ao careca!!! O resto está tudo muito bem, , mas o GARRAFÃO é uma nódoa num espectáculo MUITO BOM!! Os bailarinos do minuto 22' são também MUITO BONS, de alto nível, um dia poderão vir a ser eles os protagonistas principais.

Sobre os dois fenómenos da dança internacional, portugueses, já tinha dito 5 meses antes. E tu, pelo comentário que fizeste, deves ser a desgraça da encenadora ou simples aderecista que se lembrou de pôr em cena na Giselle um típico garrafão de vinho português, de 5 litros. COITADITA DE TI, com esse feitio e pouco poder de encaixe... NÃO VAIS LONGE. @@carlabruscolinibruscolini9794
