I especially love this ending where Giselle descends back down into her grave, whereas in most productions she simply drifts off stage which is not as effective dramatically.

I thought that Natalia Bessmertnova was an ultimate Giselle, but after seeing this tandem of Vishneva-Ganio, I believe that at least where the 2nd act is concerned, they at least match the mastery of Bessmertnova-Lavrovsky. Bravo!

I almost didn't watch this because usually I don't care for Vishneva and find her too histrionic. Here, however, her over-the-top dramatic quality is perfectly calibrated and convincing.
To all of you armchair critics out there you obviously think you can do better. If you can’t say something nice don’t say anything at all. These dancers train hard for years and years and all you can do is be negative about them. Shame on you.
Marianela is one of the best ballerina of the wordl and her grace and expresivity deserves a better coreographer. Anyway, I will always appreciate to watch her dan cing. I'ts a gift for ballet amateurs. Thank you.
