Extraordinary! Absolutely love this!

Casalinho and Margarita both have superb and rock-solid technique. But Margaritas artistry in such a young age is something to be praised. Casalinho has an undeniable charisma - but Margarita has pantomime abilities like we don't often see even in established and well-known dancers. She exudes classical ballet!... I'm curious to see her in contemporary pieces in Munich.

I follow her but didn't realize she had risen the ranks so quickly - very impressive at POB. Not surprised! Best of luck.

Ms. Makhateli, you are the epitome of a ballerina. Thank you for being so honest, so authentic, so real. I can empathize with your “dead pointe shoe” story. Brava to you for never giving up- especially in that moment of your career. Your Don Q PDD w/ Danill Simkin, which is posted on You Tube, is truly exciting to watch. Your prolonged balance in arabesque en pointe always brings a big smile on my face every time I watch. I can see a smile on Mr. Simkin’s face. His back is facing the audience, but one can see his delight in just waiting for you to come back to earth. I wish for you a long and healthy career.

I'm sad about the school telling a student theyre too fat to dance. Fat people can be excellent dancers. And really, what thin people think is fat is still relatively thin, just not as thin as they idolize.
