@DONeirLEMON You are right. I just moved from the Twin Cities and that whole situation of George Floyd and then the aftermath broke the Twin Cities. The hate that is flowing through that region, the divide of the people and the destruction of the city is insane. He is carrying the guilt of that as well, but he shouldn't be. George Floyd made his choices and so did Derek Chauvin and it was a disasterous situation. It is not this kid's fault.
Yeah. Its not a pleasant video to keep always being reminded of those cops who killed George Floyd. Remember, they all need to be charged besides Derek Chauvin.
The president of Mexico just had 3 officers arrested for the murder of an El Salvadoran woman. The female office knelt on her neck and ended up breaking it. He had her and 2 male officers that stood by and did nothing arrested. That is what should have happened here. They are trained and knew better. I don't know if it was about race but I can't discount it either but I do know that there is an ego associated with many law enforcement officials. A source of power that kills.....
If the other officers should be charged with murder for standing there doing nothing all the people standing there recording not doing anything should also be in prison for murder 🤷♂️
That young man spoke and carried himself so, so well. I am proud of him! And we should all make sure that this young man knows that he was not the cause of George Floyd’s death. He did the right thing by calling the authorities due to George using a counterfeit bill to make a purchase. It was not known that George would be killed by authorities minutes later. That is not his fault. He should not feel guilty. He spoke his piece and it will be huge in getting a murder conviction and justice being served. George’s initial crime should not have gotten him killed by an officer using excessive force while George said he could not breathe before the knee was placed obstructing his breathing. Justice will be served.
He did what we are taught to do. It absolutely is not his fault that George Floyd was then murdered. I don't believe his intentions were "I want to see this guy (George Floyd) end up dead" This is why Chauvin is on trial. A dead body is not the answer to the police keeping the peace.
He was so well spoken and articulate.. maybe he should have coached that other young martial arts guy because that poor thing couldn’t formulate a basic sentence..

Isn't passing counterfit bills a federal crime? So yeah, his employer did what most store owners would do given the situation. If you would like to thank someone for changing this young man's life, you can start with George Floyd.
@@greenbeans2539 it is common though. I have gotten fake $20 bills from Bank of America and Wells Fargo, thankfully I caught them. With that being said a fake $20 doesn't mean automatic death.
@@jetshark970shark4 I am 57 years old and have never, to my knowledge, ever passed on a counterfeit bill. It is not common to receive a bad bill, I can tell you that. The clerk said it was very obvious as it was a different color. I do agree that his infraction should not mean death. However the other poster was thanking & in essence blaming this guy's employer for the trauma that unfolded, but it is without question appropriate that the employer was right in calling the police (for a federal offense) and the only person to blame for the entire happening was Floyd himself. It's what one might call reasoning. Anyway, goodnight and stay well everybody!
@@greenbeans2539 no one ever blamed the guys employee only the cops that took his life. Also I would like to see the dollar used. Hell one time I bought a drink at a store and they have me a dollar that was held together with tape...
@@greenbeans2539 also the employer was wrong why would you send a teenager to chase down an adult after the issue. Typically the store calls the police.
Also the police officers were totally in the wrong for coming up to George Floyd guns drawn and for putting him in handcuffs. All they had jurisdiction to do was question Floyd then turn over the info to detectives/investigators. First off the person who questioned the authenticity of the bill is a teenager. Second the officers don't know for sure if the dollar was fake. Here is what should've happen.
1. Officers receive call them calmly walk up to George Floyd WITHOUT GUNS DRAWN and ask him about the bill in question
2. Ask Mr. Floyd if the bill was fake and where it might have come from.
3. Send Mr. Floyd on his way and what ever info they received turn it over to investigators.
Too many beat cops like to act as if they are detectives, judge, jury, and executioner.
I can’t imagine having to relive this over and over. Of course he deleted the video, he was forced to witness a murder. I hope he find peace, he doesn’t deserve the guilt he’s put on himself
Correction: he witnessed a self-induced drug overdose
@@turtlepowersf WRONG! The autopsy reports are public it states how much of the drugs were in his system compared to a fatal dose. Hint: the levels in his system do not exceed a fatal dose. It is also noted that someone who uses frequently will require a higher dose than an sober person. And, had the drugs killed him he would have died when he used them. More like lack of oxygen (due to knee on his neck in the prone position for too long) caused him to have a heart attack.

I've done cashiering when I was younger. We had counterfeit markers. You mark the bill regardless. If it came out the wrong color you deny the transaction give them the money back and tell them to leave the store. If they refuse then you call the police.
@Grammar Police - Actually no. You tell them you can't take it and why. If the police were called it was because they wanted to argue. Most I'm sure would just give a different bill that was an option. And actually the results weren't the same as I was never passed a fake. And if it were I wouldn't have to guess as the market would let me know and was trained how to handle the situation.
What was going on through your mind at that time? "Disbelief and guilt" why guilt? "Because if I just didn't took that bill.. this wouldn't of happened" 😢 damn this isn't on you its on THEM!!

@cw1832 you sound like a fool smeared in dung...what about the officers who used a baton to rape a black man in the 90s, b/ it was 2 of them, it was ok??
Mr. Floyd death has nothing to do with a 20 dollar bill, or a police officer. He died because of 3 times lethal fentanyl in his system mixed with other drugs such as meth and opioids this caused his heart to swell to 3 times its size and he passed away. This case shows the increasing number of drug overdoses in America and how many lives they take.
God bless him. This must be so hard for him as well as an many others. I pray he does NOT feel guilty. I heard him say he wished he'd of just took the phony bill. Dear Lord
Correct. EXCEPT that he said he wished he HADN'T taken the counterfeit bill and just told him he couldn't accept it because it wasn't real and then, he believes that George Floyd would not have made a scene and would have left peacefully - except what he may not realize is that George Floyd was high and probably would not have left, but we may never know.
