The Persuaders!
Two millionaire playboys - one a peer of the realm, born into money, and the other a self-made man who fought his way out of the New York slums - are conned by a retired judge into righting wrongs in a series that combines action, style, humour and panache in large quantities!
Regarded by many as being the finest of Lew Grade's ITC film series, The Persuaders! stars Roger Moore and Tony Curtis as the mismatched playboys with an eye for the ladies and a penchant for landing themselves in trouble.
Highly anticipated on Blu-ray, this very popular action adventure series is presented here in stunning High Definition for the first time. All 24 episodes are featured alongside a wealth of special features.
One of the best seventies TV series coupled with an unforgettable theme tune and two legends of it's time. What more could u want❤❤
R.I.P Sir Roger Moore, brilliant actor.
Both film legends. Both no longer with us. May they rest in peace.
How was Barry Norman a "legend"?
Going through the many clips of Sir Roger Moore after hearing the awful news of his passing today.- i'm devastated... RIP Roger Moore
Roger Moore Never dies
He was such a versatile actor. I loved Ffolks. It was a great film and he was so anti-Roger Moore in it. But Persuaders was my favorite buddy buddy tv show, then Simon and Simon.
Live and Let Die? 🤔
Amazing theme tune and opening sequence. Interesting note is that the photo montage for Curtis included real photos of him whilst all the Moore ones were mocked up to cover the Lord Sinclair back story.
R.I.P. the both of you. :(
RIP Sir Roger Moore
seeing this want me to rewatch the series. moore always funny.
And now we've had 50 years. Doesn't seem possible.
So good.
Is it just me or the music of the Persuaders is quite sad and nostalgic? Like a time that will never come again?
Nice clip.
I like Roger Moore he doesn't take himself seriously.
Spot-on
Legends!
He's a true Saint
both gone... rip to rog and bazza norman
ALWAYS a mistake to have music going when you're interviewing. It's just extremely irritating.
Great video..thanks
Fantastico😊
My favorite ❤️💙💕💙😍🙏
El hombre mas guapo de toda la vida bendiciones Roger More
Best TV theme ever by John Barry. Is it true that BS 1 registration was 'borrowed' from Billy Smart? R.I.P to all .
R.I.P - RISE IF POSSIBLE
Nice comment Peter
personal favourite Bond, Sir Roger got the concept of entertainment for entertainments sake, which makes him incredibly enjoying to watch and listen to right up to today, legendary entertainer, sadly missed.
Roger Moore my favourite Bond and the most fun !
John:
Should anyone? Life would be so much better if people just relaxed, dropped their pretenses and laughed more. After all, it's hard to hate or be violent when you are laughing. That's it! The world needs a laughing bomb!
Edmund Charles hell good show
Gentiluomo
Sad.... Both gone now
Besides God, the first person I want to meet in heaven is sir roger moore
The audience didn't seem to get it, but Tiny Curtis was of course not a smoker. He was during many years a spokesman for nonsmoking organizations.
I believe he's reefering to something else ...and I'm pretty sure it's true.
Anthony Hayden Did Tony perhaps take other stimulants than hash, something maybe stronger?
But he was arrested on arrival to UK before filming started for possession of marijuana archives.chicagotribune.com/1970/04/27/page/4/article/british-arrest-actor-tony-curtis-on-charge-of-carrying-marijuana
Tony Curtis was forgotten.
@@markharrison2544 Trapeze, with Lancaster. And the best comedy ever, Some Like it Hot. The definitive Curtis movie.
Hope roger and tony get reincarnated!!!

I am a big fan, but also thoroughly disappointed that uncle Roger seldom took an interview serious, which really is a pity. Ofcourse he made that good with the many wonderful books he wrote or co-wrote. And ofcourse his tremendous contribution to UNICEF.
what a stupid thing to say.
I met Sir Roger in my home town of Cambridge when he did his UK tour before he died. You could not ask for a more charming, humourous and lovely actor. I wish he had stayed in the UK. He admitted he was not a great actor but he highlighted the British film 'The man who haunted himself' which I have seen and shows he could cope with something meatier than versions of himself. He was never going to win an Oscar.
Great clip... apart from the background music.
Background music is classic and very mesmerising
Both gone now. Awww
Una gran persona y ser humana y gran actor bendiciones.
Good show, shame only one series…
So were is tony curtis howcome he aint on the show

A ridiculous Anniversary with Tony Curtis dead.
