Roger Moore has a wonderful personality! He never takes himself seriously and was affable in every way. Just a nice human being
I heard a wonderful story about him once..He was at a film viewing at the BFI i think and this guy and his wife were in the audience listening to him during the Q/A section and they had to get hom as the evening was running overtime they left and as they went through the exit door Roger Moore caught up with them and said he was sad they were going and sorry the evening had been running late..they could not believe he had left the Q/A section just to catch up with them and say sorry..that story alone shows he was a beautiful man..(on the inside and outside)
I actually met roger a couple of times lovely man absolutely hysterical and just an overall loveable man he’s absolutely lovely
Charming legend to the last. Continue RIP Roger.
He had a near death experience I heard once, an interview, wish I could find it, was compelling… true? Who knows…
I can't believe hes gone. His Bond was charming and he made his mark.
Best James bond ever!
Marvellous gentleman old roger
Sadly missed in a world mow full of bad manners
Rest in peace roger and thanks for everything
RIP MR MOORE 🥺
I met him in Cambridge on his tour of the UK and you can be sure we all loved him a lot. He had a right to be a little smug: like Michael Caine and Sean Connery his two mates he had come from a quite humble beginning and people forget his 1950s Hollywood career never took off and it was not until the 1960s TV series 'The Saint' it did. He was the first to admit he was not the greatest actor, though watch his British film 'The man who haunted himself'. An icon of my life and a deprecating humourous gentleman. I wish he had lived in the UK, his home.
I love the movie The Man Who Haunted Himself. Roger Moore's terrific in that.
Happy 89th Birthday Sir Roger Moore!

Nobody did it better.
Working my way through all Bond movies....finished the first Timothy Dalton today. Roger Moore is so naturally dry funny...love him. I still have the entire Persuaders series to watch to.
i really loved this guy
Roger reminds me of an old noble war veteran
He served four years in the military, starting at age 17 & rising to 1st Lt. (brevet Captain) when he was only 19-20!
Roger Moore to me was the best looking actor of all time ❤
He looked very good in the 70‘s and 80‘s. I‘m just 40 years old but i can remember as a child how much i loved the bond movies with him, because of that special Kind of humour, his ironic smile and i loved that Lotus he was driving in ‚for your eyes only‘
Kind regards from Germany
@@Furor_Teutonicus14 " i loved that Lotus he was driving in ‚for your eyes only" Do you mean the Lotus Esprit in The Spy Who Loved Me?
@@redditanonymous-p9w nope! The Lotus Esprit from 1981 (for your eyes only) - the Bordeaux red one with them skies on the roof in Cortina! Till today this car belongs to my top 5 cars!!
no, he probably meant the upgraded lotus in FYEO - there was the white one, which gets blown up and the red one. Admittedly, they were just for show in FYEO unlike in Spy. I managed to get a photo standing next to teh red Lotus in FYEO at the London premiere of FYEO (my claim to fame!)@@redditanonymous-p9w
`Why don`t we have a geriatric 007, I`ll come back``
R. Moore is worth a chuckle.
I always preferred Roger Moore as Bond , he always played it with a wink and never took it seriously pure entertainment , Connery for me was great but a bit of a snob to Rogers Movies
I recently watched an episode of Heartbeat and Daniel Craig was in it.
Im surprised we don’t get an eyebrow raise 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 or something like i don’t mean to rock the boat but could you tell me what you know about Lorraine Kelly and him saying something else like detont with a smarmy face and another eyebrow raise
88 here. Wore his age well.
I'm still quite upset about Death. Mostly for me. But secondly...you know what I mean.
What? Are you on drugs?
What an earth is he doing on there with those tacky women. He’s better than that surely.
🎋🕊
He was 88
