Hi Robin! Thank you for this message. I needed it. The last couple of days have been rough. I started dating about a month ago, despite having DPDR, I decided I wasn’t going to let it hinder me from meeting new people. I have made a ton of progress but I got a panic attack in the middle of a second date. It shook me up quite a bit. I had got it into my head that I was beyond the point of having one again which was clearly not the case. I’ve been feeling pretty down about it and some of the anxiety from the attack has lingered over the past couple of days. Your words always give me so much encouragement. I’ve been learning little by little to let go of control and to lean into trying to be at peace despite my situation. I still have a ways to go, but I’m thankful for your help along the way. ❤
