You can also input (and hold) down, down-forward and press up+forward+punch on the same frame and you'll get a fireball, because on leverless (but not keyboard, as far as Tekken is concerned, not sure about SF.) the up input will negate the down input. It's the fastest way to physically input a fireball motion, because it's physically easier to press another button rather than lift your finger and let go of a button.
You mean as far as Street Fighter right? Lol I don't think any Tekken characters throw out fireballs😅 That's a nice shortcut though. That seems like a lot to just throw out a simple fireball lol!
@@LiteEmUp_JohnnyAny character with QCF moves, such as Paul's infamous Deathfist, technically has a fireball (as far as the inputs are concerned). Also, it's really not hard to do. Think of it this way: 1. On the first frame you press and hold down 2. On the second frame you press and hold forward 3. On the third frame you press up+punch. Obviously, at first you're gonna have a lot more empty frames (holding the inputs needlessly long), but over time you'll speed up this piano technique and you won't even think about doing fireballs the normal way.
@@SlCKNESS_ oh okay. That's good to know. You're right I guess, any qcf move should work. I think it'll come down to personal preference and muscle memory. I mean, I've already gotten use to how I play with Reina so for me to switch up my playstyle may not work for me. I think everyone should start off playing without shortcuts at first personally. Then over time, you'll figure out "oh, I don't need to press this button if i do this instead." It's like starting a new job and your trainer showing you the shortcut method first without showing you how to actually perform the task, the correct way.
Seeing you discovering the electric version of the WGF was pretty cute ngl hahahaha. Hope that you enjoy playing Tekken, I recently changed to a leverless stick aswell, not the kitsune tho, and I'm having a blast practising my Jin electrics :)
😅 The Electric is just something I never paid attention too in previous Tekken games. I never played a Mishima before. If Reina wasn't in the game, I still probably wouldn't have known what a "true electric" looks like lol.
Hell yeah, decided to cave and get a kitsune when I bought Tekken 8, I'm extremely new to fighting games (160 hours across Tekken 8, Granblue, Guilty Gear) and man this thing is amazing, tekken feels so good on hitbox compared to pad and stick, it was definitely a pretty hard adjustment in the 2d fighters but the consistency of it is worth re wiring my muscle memory. This controller has definitely helped carry me to ganryu for sure.
This is exactly how I feel! It also feels way better on my hands and fingers. A lot of the times when I use to play on pad, my hands would cramp up a lot. Congrats on your Tekken 8 rank. I'm trying to find more time to play. I'll get my rank up there soon. Hopefully sooner rather than later...😅
With the mishimas, the last down forward direction and 2 have to be hit simultaneously and frame perfect to get electric version, reina and kazuya have a shortcut compared to jin, they just need to input forward neutral then downforward, no need for down input before downforward, also razer make great boxes, liked the panthera og alot
I'll try that out. Thanks for the advice. I've heard people say the Panthera was really good. I've never gotten into playing on a stick. I could never figure out which way to hold it. 😅
Your problems with the controller is the same reason I also got a lever less. My character would just jump all the time. and it was getting frustrating. I started out by taking an extra mechanical keyboard I had and removing all the key caps other than the ones I wanted to use. Turning it into a make shift lever less. I loved it, but then I wanted to go to local events that played on PS5. So I ended up getting a snack box micro. The one that works on PS5. I love it a lot.
Thanks for the video bro, been doubting about the Kitsune because I'm still a newcomer in the fighting game space. I don't know Cammy, but that dark green colour is looking straight fire on your kitsune. Love it! People complain about the price which is fair, but for a PS5 leverless controller that is also easily accessible in Europe this is maybe your only option. There are cheaper ones but if you want to have native support for PS5 in the leverless you are already often paying near 300 euro, or you always have to rely on the USB dongle from brook and through that have a cheaper leverless. Anyway about the electric wind god fist, try to slow it down a little bit and then making it faster. Press forward once, press down & hold, then press right (or left) immediately with two. Has to be frame perfect. It works for me when speedings things up that I am pressing 2 when I am pressing down actually, which doesn't make sense but brains right. In any case keep it up champ!
I'll try that with the Electric God Fist. People expect me to be God like in Tekken 8 when I barely have 40 hours in this game LOL! I haven't had time to play at all since I made my last Reina video. I'm off of work on Friday so I'm hoping to get some play time with her. I'm gonna go to the lab and try this out so thank you for the advice 🙏. Also, yeah people have commented on the Kitsune being overpriced and that's fine. It's not for everyone but I like it😅
Awesome video! I bought one of these 3 weeks ago for Tekken 8 and love it! Super comfortable, fun and satisfying to play on. Wholeheartedly recommend. RAZER I NEED A DRAGUNOV BASEPLATE PLEASE!!
Exactly! I love the feel of it. It feels great on my lap LOL! People are complaining about the price and that's fine but they're forgetting its native for the PS5, like how a few people already mentioned. I can take this to tournaments and not worry about having a brooks converter on me or something. Yeah, we definitely need some Tekken 8 face plates for this thing!👍🏽
I'm more of a Chun-Li type of guy. I like the R3 and L3 button layout on the Kitsune. I could actually see myself using those buttons in a middle of a fight in Tekken 8 if they still function when the Kitsune is in the locked mode. I own both the hitbox and the snackbox micro xl and mostly play on the series X so the Kitsune isn't currently for me, but I do like its look. I'm a pianist so playing on leverless feels the most natural out of all fighting game controller options. On my snackbox I have concave buttons for my directionals and convex buttons for my 8 action buttons and that is the ultimate layout of comfort for me in a fighting game. I do think in the future, Razer should give you guys options with the mechanical switches you can use on the Kitsune, because trying out different switches on the snackbox and finding the ones that are perfect for me was part of the fun in the whole journey of switching to leverless.
That EWGF part was funny 😁 Dont be embarrassed, that input is really hard, it took me days to figure it out, at first i automatically inputed forward right after downforward because of the QCF muscle memory, but you need to tap 2 right as you are about to input downforward because they need to be inputed at the exact frame (atleast that works for me on fightpad). However, i got your point bro, the razer kitsune looks really fun, i think you convinced me to buy one. Great vid!
😅 After practicing it now, it's a bit easier on leverless because I'm pressing "down, forward, and 2" at the same time because the "down and foward" registers as downforward on leverless making it easier to do true electrics. I hope that made sense? LOL! I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Switching to leverless definitely is a learning curve but honestly I'm use to it now and I wouldn't go back to controller. 😁
@@LiteEmUp_Johnny i STILL need to practice it everytime i start a session and STILL cant do it consistently in a fight. It is s tricky input. I am aware that i need to learn completely new muscle memory, but i am looking forward to it. Wish you perfect electrics online bro.

That's a nice little shortcut for a DP. I feel like each fighting game you figure out shortcuts. When I was playing Granblue, I realized I was performing certain actions with Narmaya without having to press specific buttons. And that's cool about Razer allowing you to change the priority now. It's not a function I won't to change though cause I would like to compete in tournaments in the near future.
@@LiteEmUp_Johnnydifferent tournaments might have different SOCD priorities. I don’t even think Tekken officially states preference on what kind of SOCD you need

too far deep, where have i heard that before? oh that right, thats what she said! :) great vid man. leverless is really the best way to play fighting games
I am working a fulltime job I hate as well, it's really draining. I am using a ps4 controller on pc for Tekken 8, I just cannot get into a fightstick, my hands would cramp up and I HATE using that stick, even though I love the buttons. Maybe I will go leverless... Nice setup and great waifu wall ;)
It does take sometime to get use too but now playing on leverless feels natural for me. I suggest looking at some other cheaper options as people would tell you buying a Kitsune is overpriced. It might be or not but I've also seen overpriced fight sticks also and people still buy those. Ultimately, buy whatever you want and as long as your happy with it then who cares right?😅😅 Thank you for the compliment also! My entire living room is full with waifus and other anime stuff😅
You ordered one also!? That's awesome! I hope you're liking it? It takes time to get use too, if you haven't played leverless, but once you have it done, you're not gonna want to go back to controller 👍🏽
although i dont think hearin the buttons is that big of a deal, maybe u can add some filters to lessen the noise. i have the same mic as u an i have filters on so that it doesnt pic up my keyboard typin n shi
You don't use analog to play fighgting games, DPad only, because analogs have incosistent activation deadzone. DPad on the other hand has instant button click. If you want to go fully into leverless i suggest instead of overpaying for Kitsune get a waaaay better custom made Leverless in same price range, Razer just rips people off with those and if you want to have PS5 compatible just get Brook Wingman FGC converter for 60$ and you're set with every controller. You can get Haute42 M16 for like 90$ it looks similar to Kitsune but made out of aluminimum and better, dust proof switches, which Kitsune has problems with their laser switches. For the ammount you spent for all those Kitsunes you could get 2 Jony Fraze custom sticks that look sick AF.
Late to the vid but I’m really considering getting the kitsune so I can go classic it’s hard for me to do quarter circle motions on a pad controller its to tight and it’s why I do modern but I want to master classic Ryu and Akuma
I definitely find it easier doing classic controls on leverless tbh. I love how the Kitsune feels. That was my number one reason for wanting to switch.
3:38 I mean not to tell u "how u should use ur controller" but normally people use the DPAD not the analog stick which obviously will give u less accurate/accidental inputs.
Officially, it is not supported for Xbox unfortunately. Now, there's been people who have tried to plug one into an Xbox and have reported there were issues when they tried play. Apparently, you can download some software to "fix" these issues but I'm not entirely sure what they are. Ultimately, Razer didn't make a Kitsune for Xbox. Sadly, I don't think there are any leverless options for Xbox.
Yeah, I figured it out during the video. Before T8, I never played a Mishima character so I never really paid attention to how electrics were done cause I didn't care at the time. If Reina wasn't in the game then I probably wouldn't have known what a "True Electric" is. I probably would have played Azucena tbh.
Thank you for your feedback. The Kitsune may not be for everyone and that's fine. I did mention there were other more affordable ones like the snackbox 🙂
A lot of leverless controllers are going to be quite expensive, I think. People don't realize that being native for the PS5 is what makes it expensive. If you browse on Amazon, you'll find a lot of leverless but almost all of them say they're compatible with PS4, Xbox, and PC but not PS5. Then you'll have to get a converter and hope it works for your PS5. With the Kitsune, I can "out of the box" just plug it straight into my PS5 and I don't have to worry about anything.
Nah, cause with MK games you have a block button and it's hard as hell to constantly keep your finger on that block button and attack your opponent. I use a controller when I play MK games.
Im not going to hold you that hori pad is straight dookie water. If you read this skip that thing stay on a PS or Xbox controller. No hate on You though i dig the video and that cammy controller looks cool af

That's false, I have done them back to back. Also, watch how you talk or ill just send you to the shadow realm. Don't come on my page disrespecting me. Go somewhere else with that nuisance!
I think it's funny and I'm not talk about you. But I think It's funny that people don't know that they can just input the direction of the combos on a dpad instead of doing quarter circles
You can do anything on PC when it comes to modding. I mean, if you don't ever plan on playing in tournaments and such then feel free to do whatever you want. If you're going to play competitively then you wouldn't be allowed too. You'll be disqualified.

ya man i wanna make sure i got my moneys worth lol. 1hr = 1$. Ya i tried training my finger hitting the lab everyday for 15 mins. It's still off. but ya bruh i hope everything works out for you. and if not, your stick will be waiting for you lol@@LiteEmUp_Johnny
Yes, the problem with those type of D-pads!! I wish they would make a 6-button pad with a SLIT D-pad!!
It's funny cause I see a lot of pro players use a PS5 controller when they play. MenaRD is one of them and the man is godlike on a PS5 controller 😅
Bro it was so cute seeing u realize what the Electric actually is hahahahaha
Kepp going at it you´ll need at the most 1 day to do the input on leverless controller
😅😅 I never played a Mishima character before this. Jin is cool but I never played as him in any other Tekken. T8 is the first time I'm actually playing a Mishima. If Reina wasn't in the game, I wouldn't have known 😅
Lovely vid dude, keep it up very entertaining
Thanks, I really appreciate that! 👍
too far deep, where have i heard that before? oh that right, thats what she said! :) great vid man. leverless is really the best way to play fighting games
OMG!!🤣💀 That's funny!!! Thank you very much!🙏
6:59 You aren't wrong if you play on a modded controller you can just hold back press forward and do the Sonic Boom like one Evil D controllers
Tekken 8 is really hard game but we all gonna make it! :P
Intro sounds like me keep grinding bro
Thanks bro. I'm trying. Even when I'm half sleepy 😅
I am working a fulltime job I hate as well, it's really draining.
I am using a ps4 controller on pc for Tekken 8, I just cannot get into a fightstick,
my hands would cramp up and I HATE using that stick, even though I love the buttons.
Ultimately, buy whatever you want and as long as your happy with it then who cares right?😅😅
Thank you for the compliment also! My entire living room is full with waifus and other anime stuff😅
@@LiteEmUp_Johnnythanks, I will look into them!
lol of course you play Reina! 🔥
@@JULR0W 😅😅😅😅💀
sorry for all the typing lol
no worries👍
Get into Tech!! Tech is awesome 🔥
I been trying too. I've been taking courses online, watching RUclips videos, and self teaching myself but no luck at all. 😭
Got the Cammy version just came back from the mall rn.
I'll try to figure something out. I mean I'm "heavy handed" too 😅
I even type hard 💀
Thank you for your feedback
those 4tw sticks are badass, i built one for ps5 and detachable lever
Late to the vid but I’m really considering getting the kitsune so I can go classic it’s hard for me to do quarter circle motions on a pad controller its to tight and it’s why I do modern but I want to master classic Ryu and Akuma
I definitely find it easier doing classic controls on leverless tbh. I love how the Kitsune feels. That was my number one reason for wanting to switch.
3:38 I mean not to tell u "how u should use ur controller" but normally people use the DPAD not the analog stick which obviously will give u less accurate/accidental inputs.
You're making an assumption, which you shouldn't ever assume anything.
@@LiteEmUp_Johnny ok.
Just bought a Chun li version while watching this video
Nice! Congrats bro! Hope you like it?👍🏽
What’s the name of the first controller?!!! I’ve been looking for a mechanical button controller.
The Hori Fighting Commander OCTA. You can find it on Amazon. Right now they have a Tekken 8 edition!
Returned mine, did not like the feel of the buttons, quality was top notch though
And that's fine bro. It's not for everyone
Does the kistune work for Xbox? I can't find anything that's leverless only one I see compatible is the stick one I'm new to arcade sticks btw
@@LiteEmUp_Johnny I've gotten the 8bit for series x and PC it works wonders 🙏🎮
@@Retrogamer01635 That's what's up! I'm glad you found something 👍🏽
extra unopened razer kitsune? did i hear a giveaway happening? ;)
Huh????😅😅😅😅
do you know that you were not doing "electrics"
Yeah, I figured it out during the video. Before T8, I never played a Mishima character so I never really paid attention to how electrics were done cause I didn't care at the time. If Reina wasn't in the game then I probably wouldn't have known what a "True Electric" is. I probably would have played Azucena tbh.
had to get a sopiguard skin just to get something red. razer been slow to offer options.
For real, I mean they could make so much more money if they offer more skins.😅
11:43 You can't mess up right? 😅
Yes, exactly 😁
i get switching to a leverless, but the price just isn't justified for a box with an arduino and some cheap chinese buttons
Thank you for your feedback. The Kitsune may not be for everyone and that's fine. I did mention there were other more affordable ones like the snackbox 🙂
there are plenty of cheaper option the kitsune is on the higher end ,you can easily get a solid leverless for less the 80
I want to try leverless but I only have a ps5 so it’s like £350.00 to get one. It’s a lot just to try out.
You use this with mortal kombat at all?
Nah, cause with MK games you have a block button and it's hard as hell to constantly keep your finger on that block button and attack your opponent. I use a controller when I play MK games.
Thanks man have you tried that fight pad with any mk games thanks for getting back to me
@@Peaterbeaterchickeneater The one I showed in the video? The Hori fight pad one? It's works good. It's the one i used when I played MK1.
commenting for the algo
LOL! Thank you! 🙏 😁
Is it possible to learn leverless if you cant type i am a 1 handed typer.
You gotta try it out first to see
@@aaronhibbert8773 Thats alot of money just to try and see lol.
@@brandonrice1124 my bad, use a keyboard and set ASD keys to move and spacebar to jump, its a good way to start just to get the idea how it feels
in heat Kazuya can't hit 6 electrics in a row if you have the skill
Im not going to hold you that hori pad is straight dookie water. If you read this skip that thing stay on a PS or Xbox controller.
No hate on You though i dig the video and that cammy controller looks cool af
Dookie water?!😭😭😭💀
It's not that bad😅😅. Playing fighting games with an Xbox controller is even worst💀.
Thanks for the compliment! I like the Kitsune a lot. It's cool looking down and seeing Cammy on my lap 💀
bro down bad for reina lol
LEAVE ME ALONE!!! I'M NOT HARMING ANYONE!😭😭😭😭😭
LOL!💀
So uncool :)
Sorry you feel that way
noob reina she cant do electric like kazua u need to have her heat to use it back to back just a tip
That's false, I have done them back to back. Also, watch how you talk or ill just send you to the shadow realm. Don't come on my page disrespecting me. Go somewhere else with that nuisance!
@@LiteEmUp_Johnny tell em
Again Johnny
@@LiteEmUp_Johnny well we both learned something I usually am only able to pull 2 off without heat will re try and do more tonight
Nice Video, i have bought mine yesterday Need a week to deliver, i Play Mainly Mortal kombat but Hope to block is Not Hard as i think, in trouble i have the Victrix pro for it but damn this thing looks so pretty
Ps Sorry for my writing in Not good at english 🫡
You're good! And yes, I love how the Kitsune looks as well. Let me know how it goes since you play Mortla Kombat? I've seen only a few tournament people use a leverless and I was quite shocked tbh 😅
