48:00 I'm fairly certain the "This one looks...familiar somehow" line is an easter egg, bc the ship model shown there is incredibly similar to the infamous Edmund Fitzgerald, which was an American freighter ship that wrecked in Lake Superior in 1975. The lake is so deep (& therefore cold), that it is known as "The lake that never gives up its dead". As such, the crewmen of the Edmund Fitzgerald were never recovered, and there is in fact at least one known well-preserved body that is forever trapped floating around in there. The family is aware of the body, but want it kept there as an official gravesite. There are local regulations and buoys that mark off the area of the lake where the wreck is located, and to disturb it unsanctioned is to break the law. (If you want more info, AskAMortician did a great video all about it)
I’m a padi scuba certified diver and I think you’d love it gab!!!! I was super scared at first - and I use more air than normal becuase of it haha - but to be able to actually see cool shit in person under the water yourself? Priceless!!!!
I tried to get the open water licence on my trip to Okinawa but ended up having my first ever panic attack on the second day when doing the practice emergency tasks and things went a little wrong. 🫤 Not sure I can face trying again, especially knowing I'd have to do that controlled ascent.

Very interesting story and beautiful undersea gameplay 😍 I'd love to see more. It seems the company either directly or indirectly caused their daughter's death, and his wife is upset he went back to work for them. But yeah, 3 years is still not enough time to get over something like that; put in his position I don't think I ever could. Very intrigued about the ship: there were oxygen sticks down there, and the mystery of how it got there. Tim is definitely hiding stuff. I am wondering if as a player you stay in this map the entire game or if you get transferred later on to the "deeper area" Tim talked about in the beginning - either for plot reasons or just as a promotion.

Into the Drowning Deep by Mira Grant!
I'd love to see more of this.
20:25 “look at that little booty. tightly wrapped” 😅 me whenever i wear skintight tights lol

another book recommendation from Gab. The last two were so good!
was it only me i a started tearing up when Gab started reading about the ocean creatures , for how beautiful the game is but also the sad truth of how unprotected our oceans are
"Daddy loves you" put me in tears.
I'm really glad that this game talks so much about pollution. It's so important that we spread the word of what these corporations do to our ecosystems! This makes me like this game even more!
Please do more! I love watching you play!
Noooooo, i only have so much time to play games and you keep getting me interested in these xD
The Surfrider Foundation referenced in some of the missions is a real-world environmental protection organization.
Although I couldn't play Subnautica for more than a couple hours due to my thalassophobia -even if watching it-, this game doesn't seem to trigger it. Looks calmer for now.
Now I'm interested on this game -a change of pace.
Loved this, soothing, intriguing, very interesting!
✨Super awesome 👑
Happy Labor Day everyone
U heard a game called Kitsune:The Journey of Adashino and Daymare:1994
The Abyss 1989 definitely a influence
The music is phenomenally tranquil.
I would love to see the rest of the game!
Oh wow! Quantic Dream always blow me away. Detroit: Become Human was beyond amazing with the excellent acting. And before that Beyond: Two Souls felt like it was ahead of its time when it came out. This is exciting for me.
I believe that some sea fellows understand we have to get rid of plastic. They are smart, I believe a seal would bring the plastic to a swimmer because he knew where it came from, he knew the swimmer would know what to do with it.
As a person with horrible fear of deep water and the ocean i really enjoyed this video! Awaiting more!
You and chat weren't exaggerating Gab. This game is amazing. Hope there's a sequel.
