I believe that some of the "prophetic born again prophets" are doing exactly what the gentleman is doing. They hear voices and probably had a different type of training. It's the same thing difference is they will say "in the name of Jesus" in every sentence. They call the "guides" God or Jesus where some people will say it's ancestors etc.. Most of the prophets in the Bible, Quran and Torah heard voices or dreams... I find all this very interesting that it's similar experiences but different names.
It is actually true, we have different spirit guides and the moment we acknowledge all of them it becomes easier because guidance and wisdom come from different places. I have learned this through my own journey and mine is more of dreams and visions although I am still afraid of fully embracing it and helping outside people
