At first I had seen Ivar kill Sigurd and felt sorry for Sigurd because I thought Ivar was an irrational hot head. Now I see that Sigurd had it coming, I mean wtf Sigurd were you on your period or something during this scene? Tormenting Ivar like that was unnecessary.
Sigurd may be harsh and disrespectful...But let us face it, he's right. Aslaug never loved Ragnar. She was in love with that gigolo priest, I forgot his name. It could be possible some or all of them are not Ragnar's own kids. Btw...this family is either dysfunctional or its normal for Vikings to fight among themselves and others, even the mother will just watch.
"You should all have wives, Ubbe, you should have children." Ubbe's nineteen, Ivar is the youngest at fifteen. I know that it was normal then to be married young but it's crazy to think about.
Ubbe is supposed to be in his early 20s, and Ivar is supposed to be 15 or 16. Most young men would be married by that age, because the average life expectancy was about 45.
You can really feel his powerlessness in this moment. You can't beat him like that man... you need to be the "i meet you outside type of guy," the one that don't avenge immediately and the other is suddenly found dead.
Ivar was a psychopath, and even a psychopath with crippled legs can kill you, if you don´t see him coming. Sigurd should have killed him a long time ago, instead of just expecting Ivar not to be a threat to anyone.

Ivar took Ragnar's words to heart when Ragnar told him being a cripple and embracing it would make greatness happen, even more so once Ragnar told him to be ruthless and make people pay for underestimating him. Ivar could fight fully able men from the ground, and not only hold his own but terrify them too. He could also fight while controlling a chariot, and while limping with his crutch, and he still managed to dominate most of the battles he fought in. Fans of actual history and/or Game of Thrones would understand that if you let your son sleep with whomever he wanted you might end up attending a Red Wedding...it's harsh, but that's how you play this game, ya win or ya die!
And the sons who did get married , married former slaves ! Like where’s the politics in all that ? .. Rollo got it right !
Ubbe’s & Svitserk are my face at Thanksgiving when we discuss politics
His mother said ragnar when she was pregnant, I will have a monster, ivar is a monster.
True man I still dont get it what they meant with monster because he´s a cripple or a fking beast monster
It’s a legend/ prophecy that says that they should have waited 3 nights before having s3x to avoid having a disabled child . But they didn’t wait and fvcked anyway and that’s why the child born was disabled .
I love ever single one of the brothers will all of my heart. I love Sigurd, I love Björn, I love Hvitserk, I love Ubbe, and I love Ivar. But, I will never be able to choose a favorite, never ever. 💜💜
💚
Sigurd: "Some say you bewitched him [Ragnar]"
Sigurd had some balls not going to lie 😂
I didn't blame him though, he always felt like the black sheep. Auslaug neglected him and favourited Ivar who would also bully Sigurd. Meanwhile Ragnar was either busy raiding or doting over Bjørn, Ubbe and Hvistserk.
aslug was running kagget alone at this piont she never shown to be bad mother ragnars never in the the picture but no one blames ragnar . ivar was constantly breaking his bones that the reason he got the attetion
i thought that after ragnar's death the show will start to fail but with his sons it is even more interesting
IDGAF what nobody says..sigurd was a real dude who told ivar exactly what his cripple cocky AZZ needed to hear😂😂
Last Baratheon But comprensible
Last Baratheon agreed!
Unnecessary, but not for no reason. Siggy, bjorns daughter was his best friend, when she died under aslaugs care, no one cared, Ivar even said that
Sigurd may be harsh and disrespectful...But let us face it, he's right.
Aslaug never loved Ragnar. She was in love with that gigolo priest, I forgot his name. It could be possible some or all of them are not Ragnar's own kids.
Btw...this family is either dysfunctional or its normal for Vikings to fight among themselves and others, even the mother will just watch.
Actually, they were all born by the time Aslaug met Harbard. (Loved the "gigolo priest", you made me laugh hard!)
Harbard was a shaman, not a priest, and all of Aslaug's sons were born by then. Also, Ragnar was an even bigger shit to her than he was to Lagertha.
Manny Lugz it’s true. He’s right and tells it like it is.
Tea Gardner I know. Gigolo Priest. Funny.
Harbard is Odin btw
Damn, that scene is so painful..
Sigurd didn’t have to do his mom like that 😂😂😂
I think Sigurd was a must understood character. Tbh.
Am I the only one who was laughing at this?
SamYT 4299 nope me to hvitserk is us when people start fighting in front of us
Sigurd was right though. Aslaug and Ragnar didn't love each other.
She admitted this the last time she spoke to Ragnar.
OMG..Ivar is fucking HOT!!
Screw Margrethe, we are the ones for him sis! XD
Too bad his dick isn't functioning!
Patrik .well he still has his hands and a mouth also she was not the right girl for him.
Lady Death
True! Give him a strapon and he's good to go!
Yes, they chose well in casting he is fine as hell.
1:29 that moment Hvetserk knew
things were about to get hairy.
always like how ubber wanted to look out for his bros
Honestly disappointed they killed Sigurd off so early on. He should of lasted until the Civil War.
The way he threw the spoon hahaha😂
Sigurd's "Bring it on Bitch" gesture to Ivar 😂. Come on, let's get this started. Time to Rock n Roll lol
"You should all have wives, Ubbe, you should have children."
Ubbe's nineteen, Ivar is the youngest at fifteen. I know that it was normal then to be married young but it's crazy to think about.
Jenna Wallgren ubbe is 21
Girls get pregnant at 13 these days...
19 and 15? more like 29 and 25.... :/
Ubbe is supposed to be in his early 20s, and Ivar is supposed to be 15 or 16. Most young men would be married by that age, because the average life expectancy was about 45.
I think canonically Ragnar has Bjorn at 18 so not so young
I want Ivar to be able to walk one day and kick Sigurd's ass.
he wont walk but he will conquer 3/4 of England until Alfred the great halts their invasion
And Sigurd will rule a great deal of territory too. He has around forty-million descendants today.
With the help of Uthred Ragnarson.
Wednesday's Child Sigurd, Ivar, and Bjorn became the most famous out of all the brothers.
Wednesday's Child Kewl
Yall in the comments are overreacting lmao.. this is how brothers fight.. especially in the viking age Sigurd is funny but i like Ivar more tho
You can really feel his powerlessness in this moment. You can't beat him like that man... you need to be the "i meet you outside type of guy," the one that don't avenge immediately and the other is suddenly found dead.
Ahhh Sigurd, you are missed
Imagine if it was the Ivar the season 6, the one who could walk. Sigurd would have died that second
Looking at the thumbnail and all I thought was “ahhh I see crazy pants” 😂😂I hate when they make fun of Ivar
Is it just me who thinks it or is Ivar most badass when he keeps his mouth shut?
His death and then the greatness ivar achieved was the best pleasure.
The actress that plays Ivar’s mother is only 12 years older than the actor that plays Ivar.
Wow. Only 12 years. You could complete 4 Bachelor's degrees by that time.
When people bitch about Ivar killing Sigurd, I always refer to this clip. Dude *definitely* had it coming.
Ivar was a psychopath, and even a psychopath with crippled legs can kill you, if you don´t see him coming. Sigurd should have killed him a long time ago, instead of just expecting Ivar not to be a threat to anyone.
Aslaug was the only one who could stop Ivar in doing something stupid or mad
1:10 Fav part
This is why it REALLY didn't bother me when he killed Sigurd, his only character trait was bullying Ivar until he finally snapped....
Ivar rocks
The screaming at the end gives my flash backs of myself when my older sister would mess around with me about my insecurities and I had bad anger I was only 9
Sigurd was only one who called her out on her shit
What shit? Who called put lagertha on her shit ever? Her killing aslaug out of jealousy and greed of being queen, her banging rollo and ragnar like a hore, then the bishop and ecbert lmao. The biggest hore in vikings. Aslaug was a better woman.
It pisses me off that Sigurd lets Ivar act physically, and doesn’t respond physically, he could have beaten the shit out of Ivar so easily
Sigurd is very witiful in toying with Ivar using only words while Ivar needed an axe. That's the point.
Raising a weapon just means you're triggered.
hvitserk at 1:30 is me everytime
3:15 His scream is terrifying 🔥
Sigurd is the weakest of all of Ragnar's sons he knows Ivar is stronger than him and smarter
vladi zar Yea I would of got a knife and threw it at his ass or something
Luey Ozezen Im just saying since Sigurd is walking away just throw it at his ass. Haha would of been funny
Ivar is the weakest in combat. Stop overhyping a crippled boy. He will just be a legendary strategist
@@tribeofshamaiwan2601 At close combat, Ivar is clearly the strongest of the four brothers. If any others lost the use of their legs, they'd be unable to fight at all.
@@tribeofshamaiwan2601 We forgetting Ivar managed to fight his way through a battlefield to deal Bjorn Ironside a deathblow, while limping, and only able to wield a sword with one hand? Or how he played Aethelwulf, Alfred, and even his own brothers and Lagertha for fools with his strategy?
Ivar took Ragnar's words to heart when Ragnar told him being a cripple and embracing it would make greatness happen, even more so once Ragnar told him to be ruthless and make people pay for underestimating him. Ivar could fight fully able men from the ground, and not only hold his own but terrify them too. He could also fight while controlling a chariot, and while limping with his crutch, and he still managed to dominate most of the battles he fought in.
Ivar might be a cripple, but make no mistake, being a cripple is his greatest strength. Because of his condition and life, Ivar is possessed by a rage that drives him to overcome his limitations by thinking outside the box, and his rage becomes a weapon of terror on the battlefield
alex hes the best actor xxxx i love ivar
LADY LOLO yes! AlexHoeghAndersen is fantastic! No one could have played #IvarTheBoneless as well as Alex. This Character was made for him. So glad Michael Hirst got the right guy for Ivar. Alex definitely deserves an award for his acting abilities in this show. Fact!!!
I think the nail that sealed the coffin was not just Harbard but also after siggy (Bjorn’s daughter) death and their elation and indifference to it made Sigurd not really give a damn about his mom or younger brother
2:59 .... Did Ivar smack his face on the table? ..... That's gotta hurt
Ivar always had a norman bates vibe when it came to his mother
Aww a happy lively family
Ubbe looking up like HERE WE GO
