That supreme art Maximum uzumaki btw is a reference to Junji Ito's horror manga - uzumaki. I find the design of the shikigame similar to one of Junji ito's drawings of Uzumaki (it was really creepy)
I think Gege is a fan of Ito.

Choso is one of the coolest characters ever. The best hand to hand combat of the season is always saved for the Choso. Yuji's brothers always know how to throw hands!! ❤❤

Maaaaan that Mei Mei scene really shows how unfair this world is. Nanami should be the one going on some vacation, not her, bruh.
He could’ve if only he decided to quit (again) or run away. Mei Mei just did what was the most logical to do which was running away knowing you’re going to die. Nobara another example: Nanami told her to go home but decided to come back and look what happened.

A clarification on the "stain of the Kamo clan" thingie (not a spoiler, don't worry, as they don't explain the Kamo thing much more than that in the manga): Brain-man took over the body of the actual Noritoshi Kamo and did all the evil stuff the Kamo guy is now known for. So, the Kamo guy's legacy in jujutsu history isn't actually based on his own deeds (it was never stated the guy himself was evil). He was essentially a victim of Brain-man but the people of the jujutsu world didn't know of this individual's existence and his body-hopping ability, so everyone thinks it was the real Noritoshi Kamo who did all those things.
I don't think this is entirely confirmed, just that the 'brain' was responsible for the cursed womb paintings specifically.
'Worst sorcerer in history' is a pretty big title and we're not sure how OG Noritoshi Kamo earned it - it's unlikely to be because of the cursed womb paintings ALONE. This means we don't know what other evil actions he/his body took and we don't know who was in control of the body for those other evil actions. For instance, the real Geto did plenty of evil things before his body was taken over.
@@user-te5zc9of5s I'm thinking that the Brain is probably attracted to curse users with a twisted mind. So it's entirely possible that the OG Noritoshi Kamo was himself quite evil.
Choso already had one of the coolest designs, and his motive to avenge his brothers was sympathetic, even if it was against our MCs. Then to just make him the ultimate big bro, ready to throw hands against brain dad to protect his newly discovered brother? PEAK!!! I only wish Nitta was there for the revelation so he could be further confused by the Todo family tree.
Choso is HIM! He's my favorite character in JJK hands down! The loving caring older brother is here to save the day! Now you can see how Yuji lost terribly to him in their 1v1 prior.

Remember that Yuji is a one million perfect vessel. 99% of the time a human would die from consuming a finger. So consuming a finger doesn't automatically make you a vessel. Yuji is like bizarre anomaly.

If you go back and watch the part where Choso talks about his parents again, you can see the same stitches "Geto" has on his forehead on Kamo's forehead too. This means the same brain creature was inside this guy's head too. Basically, the old Kamo wasn't even the evil guy people thought he was, the brain just body hops and takes over people's bodies to prolong its life.
He might still have been evil, like Geto. We have no idea who was in control of them body beyond the cursed womb paintings, but we know he's referred to as the "worst sorcerer in history".

The evil acts such as the death paintings were the result of the brain, but aside from that, the dude was probably an asshole anyways just cuz he was the leader of a conservative sorcerer clan over a hundred years ago.

Think its important to emphasize how insane the title of Yuki's is. Yuki Tsukumo is a special grade sorcerer (not special grade 1 which is a weaker title).
Rank 1 sorcerers like Todo or Nanami have achieved a rank that is "the highest status a sorcerer can hope to achieve through the natural progression of ranks". They are said to be able to handle special grade curses by themselves, and are the gold standard other sorcerers should look up to and want to become. However, they do not come even CLOSE to special grade sorcerers.
Special grades sorcerers are monsters. "It is reserved for sorcerers with such immense strength that their destructive potential is immeasurable" "Someone who can overthrow a country singlehandedly" that's special grade. A rank reserved for characters who if you seriously fight, you will die.

8:55 Actually that was not from Mahito's technique, it was the same attack Suguru Geto used in the movie against Yuta, that last attack combining a lot of curses into one, that is "Uzumaki", it's from Geto's Curse Manipulation technique.

i’m pretty sure the hands that were coming out of the uzumaki was mahito tho, especially since the lines from pseudo-geto before that were “and their technique is extracted”

@@michaeljjv and Fake Geto explained in this very episode the difference that a high grade curse, like special grade Mahito, makes to the technique.
Mahito was the only curse he used for that Uzumaki, and it did in fact change the properties of the attack. Kusakabe just parried it with New Shadow Style.

most people forget about episode 1. Yuji ran and threw a metal ball further than world record, he jumped two storages high into a window and kicked a curse. All BEFORE he ate sukunas finger. Our boy was never a normal human to begin with. He is also the perfect vessel for sukuna, one in a million chance. Lots of very happy "coincidences" for brain-man. Also yujis parents were never shown in the anime as well.

This ep just turned that epic badass last ep of season 1 into a dark one. Taking what Choso said as truth, Yuji killed his own blood brothers, and iirc those are his first 'human kills' too.
Imo strategically, it's a good move to execute yuji. That's 75% of sukuna's strength gone. Even if he revives again, strongest he can reach is five fingers worth. Which is significantly more manageable for the sorcerers.

You have to remember ,the Kamo you're talking about is NOT the brain guy, kamo who was probably the leader of the kamo clan got his body snatched by brain-kun, as fake geto said , he has had many names other than kamo and geto. The kamo version of brain-kun is choso's father, Choso is related yuji by blood, which means that yuji is related to one of brain-kun's bodies.
This was like when in monster movies a smaller monster you thought was the main one gets eaten whole by the real main monster of the movie.
Finally Yuki arrived, one of the three special grade sorcerers (Yuta, Gojo and Yuki) currently and Todou's teacher.

Choso stated in the episode that because the guy who’s been in Geto is so old and constantly switches bodies, its possible for Yuji to be his blood related brother, meaning that Yuji wasn’t birthed when fake Geto had the body of Noritoshi Kamo. Yuji doesn’t have any ties to the Kamo clan.
