Sukuna called revealing his technique “petty” because in the JJK world, if you reveal what your technique is and how it works to your opponent, it makes your technique stronger.
So he was just telling Jogo that he would attack him normally
I still don't understand how revealing their techniques make it stronger. Is there a more indepth explaination

After being humiliated again and again, Jogo finally got recognized by The King of Curses himself. RIP Volcano man.
Jogo is probably the character who grew the most on me in JJK. Originally I thought his design was goofy and he was just there to job to Gojo, but he survived and his design and crotchety personality grew on me. He ended up being the most "human" of the disaster curses in that he felt empathy for his fellow curses, was fine with dying to push their cause, and cries when his strength is acknowledged. RIP Jogo.
We should also acknowledge Jogo being damn strong for him to do that to Nanami, Maki, and Naobito, and for causing this type of destruction in Shibuya. He's only perceived as weak because he battled against the two strongest characters in their time but he would've destroyed most sorcerers with utmost ease. Props to Sukuna, but still, we have to give credit where credit is due for Jogo.

He was also lucky enough ti be praised by sukuna too atleast sukuna gave him a peaceful death by somewhat in a way consoling jogo

Imagine recieving praise/being complimented by the king of curses and the embodiment of evil for standing out in a thousand years worth of opponents, even if he was playing with him the entire time.

Dude they got across just how crazy strong Jogo is soooooooo much better then in the manga and by extent how crazy strong Sukuna is. Jogo actually jumped up in terms of villians in this series after this for me.

All I got to say is that MEGUMI vs TOJI fight was all anime original… minus the beginning portion with him activating fleeing hares. The direction with the fighting choreography was IMMACULATE 😭

Megumi wasnt sold to the zenins because of gojo. Thats why he was glad when he asked for his name and he said fushiguro. It all connects to his conversation with gojo as he was dying.

Toji hated his life in Zenin clan because he has no cursed energy and was treated like trash (that's how he got that scar on his mouth). But he knows that Megumin has inherited the Shikigami technique and will be valued greatly. He just wanted to do what's best for him, even though he says he doesn't care.
I mean he didn't know what his technique was tho...
I mean I dunno don't sell your kid to the abusive family you spent your life trying to break free from. Just in case anyones wondering.
Like I understand his life was kind of in a downward spiral at that time but I don't really think we need to pretend he was doing what was best for his son, or doing what his wife wanted for her son.
His actions were pretty vile. Even if he makes some bullshit excuse to make it seem less heinous and that it's actually better for megumi to be sold off to a domineering and oppressively hierarchical family. I dunno if I quite believe that he was doing it out of love for his son.
More that he didn't wanna deal with his son cause he prolly reminded him of his lost wife. Like yikes parenting
U got to give Jogo some respect cause he fought 2 of the most powerful special grades. He fought Satoru Gojo and a 15/20 Sukuna (or maybe 16/20, depends on how many those fingers those girls put in Itadori when he was knocked out). Gojo said he was weak and Sukuna said he was the better ones he fought and the Jogo were strong. Both of them were playing around with him
The fact that sukuna acknowledged Jogo (you're strong) and Gojo didn't (you're weak) tells you something.
But with this i hope everyone gives Jogo a little more nod on how more powerful he is compared to grade 1 sorcerers
Against gojo he wasn't using those same strong techniques he used against sukuna. But yeah gojo is stronger than 15 fingers sukuna

Somehow people *forget* that is initiated by Jogo's own arrogance for how he pulled up to Gojo before thinking he could kill him in S1 when he was warned not to by "Geto". He set himself up for that.

Toji named Megumi “Blessing” because Megumi's mom saved him from the darkness. Gege stated in the manga that Toji found happiness and became stable by marrying Megumi’s mom. But after she died from a disease, he stopped caring about life. A lot of people forget the amount of torture he went through in the Zenin clan. That's why he has that scar on his lip.

Toji died twice, and both times his last thaughts were of Megumi
The only thing Toji knew and was good at was ASSASSINATION
He knew he wanted his kid to be better so he sold him of to the only place he knew
Toji was very hated by the Zenin clan so they would have never raised his son,so he made it seem like it was a transaction so they had to accept him
Also Megumi has the hereditary technique of the Zenin clan....just like Gojo, he can become the most powerful sorcerer in the world
