    Who are we?
    🌟 Welcome to One Seven UK - where passion meets craftsmanship! 🏠💕 As a family business based in Southampton, England, we are deeply dedicated to handcrafting high-quality scrunchies - super size, mini, and skinny - that add a touch of elegance to your hair game. But that's not all! We pour our hearts into producing a wide range of premium quality handmade products, because making things is what Verji enjoys doing!
    👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 Meet the faces behind the magic: We are husband and wife, Matt and Verji, and our lovely daughters, Rachel and Abigail. Our journey began when we met in Winchester, England, in November 2006. From there, love blossomed, and we got engaged at the Statue of Liberty in March 2007, followed by our beautiful wedding in Winchester in August 2007. As a radiographer, Verji passionately cares for others at the hospital in Southampton, while Matt takes charge of our children's homeschooling.
    🧶 Verji's love for creating beautiful things goes back to her childhood, where she watched her grandmothers skillfully crocheting, knitting, and sewing. Inspired by their talents, she started crocheting and knitting at the tender age of seven. Over the years, her passion for creating unique gifts to bring joy to people's lives has only grown.
    🎨 Everything we offer at One Seven UK is lovingly handmade by Verji in her spare time, with meticulous attention to detail. Matt brings his expertise to the computer side of things and ensures smooth order processing. Our lovely daughters, Rachel and Abigail, lend their helping hands and even model our beautiful scrunchies!
    📖 The name "One Seven UK" holds a special meaning to us. It's a reference to the Bible verse, Joshua 1:7, which reminds us to be strong and courageous as we embark on this beautiful journey of creating and sharing our handmade treasures with the world.

      You use wire to form words or shapes. The cord goes over the wire. We recorded a tutorial on how to make a heart: 🧶🎨 LEARN TO CRAFT BEAUTIFUL WIRE ART SIGNS 🌟📝

    Just got one. It keeps dropping stitches. What am I doing wrong? Using 3 weight yarn.

    • @onesevenuk
      @onesevenuk  5 месяцев назад

      Make sure you have the weight always hanging, not resting on anything. With practice you will perfect. I always have a crochet hook ready to correct if a stitch is dropped. Don't give up, you can do it. ❤
