This was awesome to see you make, keep up the videos! I’m currently building a 48v battery for my crazy cart and if all goes well, I’m shooting to build a 72v for the surron!
Hi, great video and channel. I want to ask how satisfied you are with Liitokala cells? I want to buy an already made one with the same cells and just change the BMS (I don't have enough experience and equipment to build my own).
I don't trust the batteries from companies i rather buy my own batteries and build my own battery . I don't recommend batteries from companies cause I don't know them , But if you want to buy an actual liitokala cells, thay can deliver 15 to 20 A current and thay are 4950 mah at 5A continuous not a bad cells if u can get them at low price (3$ usd or cheaper) but for 5usd $ u can get molicel which is the best
Pretty cool. Knowing me, I would try to weld the aluminum box joints with solder or that low temp weld metal stuff that you use with a torch but I see you just used tapes instead..which ain't that bad .
Gauge 8 is around 40 to 50 a continues and it will warm up like around 70 c° So if you really want 150a continues you need to have 3 pair of gauge 8 ( 6 cables total) Or 2 pair of gauge 4 but again temperature is high so it's not efficient .
Samsung 40T cells, 35 amps discharge... and when it comes to wires... always over build... if you want 200 amps, build for 300 amps or more... Daly BMS.... and double your battery strips...put another layer on top after you have built battery... dont cheap out on them either, use 8mm or 10 if you can, use smaller size on bottom, Luna cycle carries some nice heavy gauge wire and connectors
So I used gauge 8 for 2 output and gauge 10 for charger Also ec8 connectors are 150 a capable Bms is 400a I can say the cells can't output more then 200a so I'm safe
@@beyondxxth the only dangerous i see (and believe he said) is very big BMS (exept if you can program them) I'm not playing clever... If batteries can discharge 300a bms must be 200a... With few words BMS smaller than batteries amber discharge... Either BMS won't cut discharge because can pass more ambers than batteries.. I say again i don't know if BMS cut power if see rising temperature.. Overall.. very good build!!! Its a TANK!!!😁
@@antonypartali bms is programmable so I set the A limit to 150 and for temperature set to 60 and I tested it it's definitely works I always Follow 75% rule , every parts need to be at least 25% better or bigger than I want then it won't have any problem if I push it to 100%
@@beyondxxth you are The BEST my friend!!!!👏👏👌 Can i ask you something that i can find the solution,.. How in Weped scooters have 72v 45a or 50a (almost like yours) and work 2 controllers with 200a each (pic 20 seconds) and not have problems...? poor ending theres no proper insulation at the end the vibration will damage the battery then worst case scenario short circuit . it almost direct to the metal sides of your battery ,you have to put at least fish papper or anything rubber can stop the vibration .while driving or at least you put some epoxy resin in all sides .. your build is looks great but not safe bro considering for long term use ..
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this project I've been "abusing" this battery for quite some time and I can say it's good so far I need to say battery sitting in tight chassie so there is no room to vibrate

Fantastic build, but what part of shorting at the initial ? And is there double layer of copper on the B20 for better current balancing output?
I don't think I got what you meant for question 1
But for question 2 : It's not double but I put the cable across the P20 and p0 so should be fine
Can you help me how many cells do I need for a 60Ah battery pack? I'll be using enook 21700 5000mah battery.
What voltage?? 48 , 52 , 60 , 72 , 80 , 92 , 100

10 is thinner than 8 and 8 is thinner than 6 and so on...
