A spalding maple put it in a kiln and bring it down to 6 percent, make a forty plus width table top with 6 to 8 coats of hard finish and you decide on the price and not the customer, this type of wood you do not worry for sticker stain.

Clarence, Yes. We're learning. I sharpen my chainsaws after every tank. Before they get bad. And now Tom is doing that to our saw and it makes a huge difference. Tom is a good mechanic and has the aptitude and skill. I might do a video just on that..
I think that old maple would make some nice tables.
