Everything is just great! I think it’s funny…I married in the 70s and baskets were a very popular decorating item. I had a house full! As that trend faded, so did my baskets, which I’m sad to say now!! I love them in the home. I love old things, my favorite is old plates, any kind of glassware. Your home is beautiful. Thanks for the ideas.
I have a couple of those tables that have the spindle legs and I think with yours I would leave it the dark wood just because you have such bright white walls it looks really rich
Love your little spool table. I think it looks great as is or stripped like your coffee table. Wonderful ideas! I prefer something unusual rather than decor bought at the store, that everyone has.
I can see that little table stripped down in a heartbeat...think how awesome the detail on the legs would look with just a little bit of varnish peeking through the nooks and crannies. 😉
So creative to just paint the wall behind your old storm door! I had noticed that curved chalkboard in previous videos and wanted one for my home. Love it!!!
I would have our home all whites and neutrals if possible. That being said, we are the proud owners of several family antiques, including lovely old books bound in delightful colors (brick reds, robin's egg blues, olive greens, mustard yellows, etc) and pottery pieces with jewel tone designs. The result is an eclectic mix of dark woods, painted pieces, and bright accents that tie our rooms together through one cheery palette. Thank you for sharing your home with us. I believe your choices/projects are quite adaptable to any color or design interest. The key is to stay true to one's vision to maintain a welcoming, safe harbor for family and friends. Blessings!
I love all your ideas. Your home is decorated beautiful and I like how you don’t go to hobby lobby to buy all your decor! I’ll be looking for some vintage pieces to use for decor in my home. Thanks
I like the spool table and I think I would leave it darker .Your cutting boards are in different shades of wood and they look beautiful together . Of course it is your home so do what looks best to you . I love how you made your chalk board. What a wonderful addition to your home. Looks so good.
I had that lamp for years. I have no idea what happened to it. Don't think I would have donated it because I really liked it. My friend had 2 & painted them a pretty sage green. very pretty. I think your table was originally called a plant stand. My gram had one & kept a huge fern on it. I love your home! And enjoy your videos so much.
I have admired that chalkboard since I first found your channel! I also loved the baskets with greenery on your wall. So much so that I did a version of them in my living room.
Yes I love unique pieces, have much of my mother's things which are now becoming popular. Love the color of ginger jar lamp, will repaint mine that color.
The spool leg table looks great as is. It compliments the coffee table color. Your home is just beautiful! I have a very thrift 'collected' home as well and people always comment on the uniqueness of it. The hunt is so much more fun than just shopping!
That was a fun video, thanks for sharing and your inspiration, love your channel! Your paintings are beautiful...the colors you use and the scenery you paint!
I like the dark stain,I wood leave it like it is.great ideas for walls.i have the exact same little bird you have sitting by your new lamp.your lilacs are beautiful!! Thank you for sharing!
Love your home and all your ideas and colors you use, I think plants would look great in the crates. I found an old wooden stool on the side of the road, I'm only 5 foot lol so I picked up and I'm in the middle painting it. I love making things over and DIY's. I love looking at it and thinking I did that lol 🙋🏻👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Can not wait to hear what you did to the lamp !!! It certainly looks beautiful! I’m always looking for old windows that are different ....so many people throw them away ☹️ I love them on walls or mantels. Very clever ideas with the old milk creates ! I am enjoying my paintings I got from you! Can’t wait to see new creations!
🌿Oh my my Andrea,🌿 🌱My favourite wall decor idea is your ~ Chalkboard Window Frame ~ 🌱All your decor is so calming on your walls ~ well done & impressive. 🌱Thank you for sharing your ideas. 🙋🏼 🇨🇦
Hi Andrea! I like the table as is. To me, it exudes character because it is different from some of the other decor. The size is great for a drink and a book. So cute! I’ve always admired the baskets on your wall. So beautiful! Love the window frame....so unique. Just get thrilled with videos like this!!!
Ok....the arched chalkboard idea... Genius!! Not to mention the cutting board holder!! New subbie here! I just want to look at your house all day! I don't even care if that sounds weird! Great share!!
Hi Andrea! I love all of your ideas!! My fav is the chalkboard you made right on the wall! Genius! Also I do love the new table as is ... if you find it too dark, you could consider dry brushing it with some white paint and letting the dark undertones show thorough. TFS!! Happy weekend! 🥰❤️😊
Love the basket on the wall. That looks really pretty! Also the rack you have the cutting boards on. I love that idea! Might be something I do but with vintage plates! Thank you for sharing!
I, too, like the dark wood contrast of the spindle table. I think it would look better by the white chair where the window hangs. It's just a bit too close to the color of the sofa but I think it's best left unchanged. You have a lovely home!
L🌺VE the really Large Basket on the Wall, by Itself. I, myself, Love Large Item's as Wall Decor, Not Alot of Lil' Stuff Everywhere. It Make's More of a Statement. The Cutting -Board Holder, Look's Fantastic !!! Another Idea with Basket's, is to Have a Large one, On the Wall, then put Another one, with a Similar Shape, Inside That one, only Turning It, a Different Direction, then to Finish It, Have "1" or "2", Smaller Basket-Planter's, with Plant's, Inside of Them. Use This, On a Larger Wall. (All you Need) TFS Your Idea's with us !!! 🤗
Love the idea of the chalkboard in the window frame, a change from mirror. My dearest friends in Poland gifted me a lovely basket with a long handle filled with Barmańska and chocolates. I decided to put a clear vase of tulips in the basket later. I sent her a pic and she loved it. I got the idea from you putting the plants in the baskets. Love your ideas. 😍😘
This is why I love this channel! Andrea thank you so much for your beautiful ideas and fresh concepts on decor. This entire month I have been trying to figure out how to decorate a large empty wall, and every option is so expensive. Thank you for these ideas, not only do they not cost a lot but really make me think of ways to be creative. Can’t thank you enough. Looking forward to your new art!
I love the dark stain of the spindle table! A variety of complementing wood tones is so pretty! I wonder how it would look by either of the white chairs? Wonderful tips & I'm always inspired by your home!
Hey Andrea! Well....as usual fantastic vlog! You are so sweet,& creative! Your beautiful home is so serene and tranquil! You decorate inexpensively and with such beauty.❤️ I totally enjoy seeing what you have to show us as well as listening to you speak. You are such an amazing person ❤️! Thank you so very much for sharing with us!
Love all your special pieces, Sweetie pie! The storm door frame surrounding the wall's Chalk paint is brilliant - wonderful tip for decor:)!! Your lamp refresh is gorgeous, too:) Thanks so much for sharing! Many hugs, xo!
I love all the vintage "items" you put on the walls and I love farmhouse but I really love landscape art like old barns and wagons and somehow no one who does farmhouse ever puts much color in their houses other than pale shades of green or wood tones which I do like but can't seem to justify my art passion.
I have only just discovered your channel, and I wanted to say how much I love it. We have very similar tastes. I love thrift stores and car boot sales that we have here in the U.K and I have found such treasures over the years. I really look forward to your content each week, you have such great ideas and style and the most lovely manner. I’m binge watching all your videos whilst we are in lockdown.x
Yay you! Love it all. Leave it dark, you can always add a dark accent here and there to balance it out.. like a dark crock, wood candle holder, you'll know when you see it .. :)
Hello, Andrea! Very creative way to re-purpose the antique door frame! I love the cutting board display rack! Also, a great way to use those thrift store baskets ~ they would work for decor year round. I could see holly & berries for Christmas... Thanks again for another lovely, budget friendly inspiring decor video!
Love all your videos. Love your home and your art is amazing! Would you consider turning your paintings into notecards? I would be very interested in buying them❤️
I just found your channel and you have such a sweet spirit. I was appreciating your video and then you said some thing about writing Bible Verses and I knew I wanted to subscribe. 😊Looking forward to watching more of your videos.😊 have a wonderful day

Beautiful rooms-the white against the warm wood throughout is pitch perfect. The flowers add wonderful dimension.
