I would appreciate you filming the Android unit install, with the added accessories like the backup camera. I plan on doing that upgrade too. If you're worried about it taking too long, just do a point-and-shoot style recording session, where you simply say "what we gotta do next is... " and then film a little time lapse where you're working, then stop and say "Ok, what we just did was XXX but we ran into a problem where YYY so now we also gotta do ZZZ. Let's see how it goes" and then just continue, one or two steps at a time. You don't have to have fancy angles, and record every single little detail, I would just focus on recording the general area, stop and talk about what needs to be done, or what you did, and record close-ups of really challenging or tedious things that might be important for a viewer to save time. But most mechanically inclined can figure the basic stuff out, like "Fish this wire through here." or *Cut this hole like this " Good luck, I hope you manage to do it if you have the time and patience. I think power mods are common on these platforms, but upgrading that old ass technology that came on these cars is a pretty common desire too.
would love to see a video of the headunit, i have one on my car and couldn’t get the cameras to work, curious to see how you wire it
