2:30 Fact correction: I-55 actually *ends south* to *Laplace LA* when it was merged with US 51. I-10 is a direct connection to New Orleans after exiting from the end of I-55.
You are correct that I-55 ends at I-10 about 20 miles west of New Orleans. I meant to put "near New Orleans" but somehow that's not what ended up in the fact. Thanks for point that out for anyone who might get confused by that.
Here's another fact about I-55. It parallels US 51 between Laplace and Memphis, US 61 between Memphis and St. Louis and Former US 66 between St. Louis and Chicago.
I always thought he just put New Orleans because I-55 pretty much just ends near New Orleans anyway and he didn't want to get too technical. Also I-55's SB control city for southern MS and all of LA is New Orleans anyway.
Lovely Drive, I-80 would be Nice to Drive on in this Area. And, Wow, this has been a very Long Trip! Thanks for Sharing all your Drives and Footages from National Parks!! You Gained so much Subscribers since this Trip Started. And Yes, I am kind of Sad that it’s over. But we all had Fun, and this is one Heck of a Journey!
Nice video... thanks for sharing!!!! Hope u can drive it again soon... :) Oh... did i miss the trivia.... didn't see it??? And know i know were Orville lived... :)
So I just double checked on where the crossing is between Central and Eastern time is on I-94. From my travelling experiences, my cell phones time always switched at the Indiana/Michigan border but never did any real research on it and just assumed that was the place. So according to the internet (which we all know is 100 fact) the 6 most northwestern counties in Indiana are in fact in the central time zone which includes the county that borders the state of Michigan. So on I-94, the border for central and eastern time zone is the Michigan border. Thanks for the comment! I never really looked into it before and now know more about it than I ever though I would :)
Love the video!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Laplace, LA is a suburb of New Orleans by the way.

You didn’t miss it. It’s the last video so no trivia.
You mean NOW you know
One problem. The time zone change is NOT at the Michigan state line. It is within Indiana. Part of Indiana is in the Eastern time zone.
