"Found some old computer files in a busted up terminal a few klicks south of our main base.
They mentioned a group of intrepid warriors who would devote themselves to fighting robots inside a computer system.
They called themselves the "Scrublords."

I guess they were drunk enough to think they actually made a good game and should make a sequel instead of realizing that it was just that they overhyped the fuck out of it to the point where they literally could've shipped a dog turd in every box and it still would've sold well.

War looks like they made the sprite normal sized and then shrunk everything and moved it down closer to the p.o.v., because they just realized half way through that some of the characters where on that plane, and they didn't have time to "fix" the rest.
Holy shit I've played this... A long time ago a friend of mine got this at a flea market or something and we played it at his house. We were both dumb kids who were shit at fighters so we actually had a pretty good time with it. Years later I learned of the infamous "Rise of the Robots" and that it had a sequel, but I never put two and two together until now.
I'm watching this so that your sacrifice will not have been in vein.

I wonder how long it took them to figure out player 2 had a rigged handicap. Player 2 was taking way less damage than player 1, and there was a bar at the top of the character select screen indicating it.
Edit: It reset after the first 3 matches. I guess they'll never know.

What Woolie said about people just using specials that is an example of too many smash players. The people that use Samus and run away to charge her cannon or whatever other B special you want to see insert. You're supposed to use everything your character has.

Some characters are only good because of their specials. Bad smash game and all. Robin, for example. Samus has teeerrrible smashes and specials though, that's a whole different story, she's just the worst in the game imo.

Did anyone ever play Zero Divide 1 or 2? I remember playing the shit out of those as a kid; looking back now they probably were much more Scrublords than Fisticuffs, but they were sure as hell way better robot fighting games than this shlock!
